I saw one a few weeks ago in one of the electrical superstores gogo. It was on a demo at the entrance of the store and it's very odd indeed
Walking near it I could feel and hear the noise of air rushing by but couldn't see any movement. It makes the same noise, if not even louder than a normal blade fan but has no visible rotating parts. I put my hand through the middle of it just to try and figure out how it works
First impressions were that it's a nice looking design but a bit noisy for the amount of air flow it had. I came away wondering if a standard blade fan could cool just the same but quieter on a lower speed. It was very expensive and I'd like to compare it next to a conventional fan first.

Thanks for the update Baaleos, wonder if this will help to get it working for me.
Have tried again since we last spoke and followed all the guides but still no luck.

I agree Csas
I would like more modifiers for spell users. it felt that with more and more patches they tried to balance the game by taking things away from spells without adding anything. Using life leech in the Sacred 2 beta was fun but yes very overpowered. Rather than just take it away they should have made a version of leech just for spell users, maybe a small % chance to leech.
Melee/ranged players had a wide range of modifiers to use that could change a build to mix things up but we spell users had the three mods for the CA and that was pretty much all.

Theres a press release just been posted about Lawrence Liberty joining Keen games and leading production of sacred 3. It sounds very promising as he has worked on some big games and mentions that he is excited about working on S3

As far as I remember, if you turn off "atmospheric animations" in the options, you won't dismount to pick up items.

I'm in silver now with 2 other players and gained 10 level's up to 35 today.
Keep missing you guys, looking forward to teaming up for a boss hunt

I just had a play through and really wanted to like it but....oh dear it's not great
It plays just like Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance or the more recent Dungeon Hunter series. After playing games like Sacred and TQ it is way to linear and simple.
The graphics feel dated and the many cut-scenes stop the action too often.
Oh well, another one to wait until it goes to the bargain bin.

The link is in my post on the first page of this thread Gogo but as Stormwing said, you will have to install Steam first.

Just got back form work Gogo but left it downloading. It took about 1 hour and 30 mins but my download speed is not great.
Can't wait to try it out

Not sure if it is related but when browsing the forum in my iPad I need to click each link about 3 times before it will load. The first click seems to highlight the link and the second tries to load but stops halfway. Pressing a third time will make the link load properly. This only happens on FDM.
The forum itself loads ok but plays up if you want to go any further.

Heya r00.
I haven't been on for months either. Have tried to jump back in a few times but it didn't draw me back in. If they would open some closed CM patch servers I'd be back before you could say schneeple.
Have been playing the TQ Underworld mod with Llama and now moved to Mythos.

Thanks Loco, that doesn't sound very promising then. It's a shame as I haven't tried the CM patch yet.

Are any of you guys still playing in open?
I'm tempted to give this a go

Working in the motor trade, I showed this video to people at work and they were all pretty impressed although the car itself is very ugly
It's such a cool idea and something I'd never come across before. The master Tech who trained me said "I sware I've seen that on a BMW before". He is always right
I've only ever worked for Renault so the only slightly intersting door design I've seen is on the Avantime. It was quite a radical car design from 10 years ago that was a complete failure for Reanult. Some day it might just be a classic though and I think it's kinda cool
Top Gear did a funny tune up of it last series, the doors are shown at about 3 minutes through.

Hey all, I did a google. Windows 7 64bit does work, it just has some complicated instructions.
http://peer.wippien.com/forum.php?action=view&topic=1288415825
Yay
Those instructions worked perfectly, thanks mate

Llama is on XP so it must be some other issue.
All we get is the message "VPN not established yet"
Thanks so much for setting this up Baaleos, hopefully we can figure out whats going wrong.

Has anybody managed to get this working with win7 64 bit? doing a bit of reading about Wippien, it seems it doesn't work with it. That would explain why I can't connect

the one thing I would have changed,
Is that I would have cancelled the developement of Sacred 2 in the beginning .
instead of Sacred 2, I would have released a 2nd addon to Sacred 1 .
that included a higher res graphics patch (wish a talented mod could do this )
S1 is screaming out for an extreme makeover!

Light and Dark toons not being able to party. This was a big design flaw from the start.
We begged for this to be changed in the beta but were told that it went to deep to change
Having 2 of the main characters not being able to run together in a multiplayer game was just daft.
and yes the game is a bit too arcadey and slow compared to S1

I think Dobster lives fairly close by. Any inside info' there Dobs ?
I hadn't even heard about this Steve and neither has a friend who works for the Somerset police.
That is awful, I hope they catch whoever it is and make an example of them

I got a Nexus One about 6 months ago after having 2 Iphones and have to say that I love Android.
You can do so much more with it and there are many different roms you can install.

Isn't the regen penalty there because the player isn't a Seraphim and hasn't got AL mastery?
That is an awesome find, I've never seen a dual mitigation armour before

Thanks Barri, I'm enjoying another *cough* unreleased ARPG at the moment but would love to team up with you guys at some point and try out the CM patch
The dilemma is knowing which game to play
