  1.

I live in Schagen, the Netherlands, North Holland. It's a pretty boring small town of about 21.000 people, a lot of babyboomers and not much opportunity. :nooo:

I have lived in Adelaide, South Australia for the last six years and intend to go back next year. Absolutely love that place and can't wait to be there again! (And stay!)

I won't bother you with family history to explain why I feel attracted to certain Anglo/European countries, but definitely :viking: !

Netherlands... lots and lots of bikes and paths? I think I relate to this as my home here Montreal has over the years spent a lof of money on the Bixi systems and has tons of bike paths which take you all over the city. As I'm center city, I can pretty much boot over to any part of the town by just riding over the mountain and right into work. Love it. I always get a pass every year, even if I dont get to use it so much in a week, I feel like I'm contributing to the overall "greeness" of the community. There's hundreds of stations all over Montreal, the summer pass is cheap, and the stations are solar powered... wahoooooooooooooooo...

    :D

Yes, lots and lots of bicycle paths! I love riding! I've got a pretty mean-looking mountain bike, eventhough we don't have any mountains over here! :agreed: Cycling/riding is considered normal over here, but I understand that it's a different story in most countries! I'm glad to see that more big cities around the globe are (slowly but surely!) improving their infrastructure for cyclists. It's not that much of a big deal, if more people will use a bike more often then it saves you a lot of traffic jams, it keeps the air cleaner and you keep fit! I was one of the very few in Adelaide to actually ride a bike to work. Got yelled at sometimes! :dntknw: It was a bit of a challenge during the Summer though! (48 degrees and counting! :heat: )

  2. It says that with the CM patch, the quest ''Feed The Poor'' will grant you an attribute point and a skill point, but it doesn't do anything for me. I do remember getting an attribute point for doing other quests as well, but that was a long time ago. Does anyone else know more about that? Anyway, I just wanted to know if the CM patch has been altered in the meantime, or if that attribute point can only be obtained in certain difficulty modes, or multiplayer only?

I'm not really bothered but it's just one of those things that keeps bugging me, you know? Thanks in advance!

I'll keep questing and will let you know how everything works! So far, so good! Thanks once again for putting this patch together. I think it's great!

  3. Does anyone know why Gog and Steam are still selling Sacred 2 Gold but why Deep Silver can't put up a server for Sacred 2? I mean, they're selling it! Come on!

Would it be legal to build a program ourselves and put up a couple of servers for Sacred 2 fans so we can actually play online again? I'm seriously considering doing this in the not-so-distant future, but I would like to know if there's anyone who knows anyone who used to work at Ascaron or someone who works for Deep Silver. (So I can ask questions!)

I just think it's a shame because I know there are plenty of people who are still playing this game. My brothers just very recently bought two copies. I see a lot of posts online from people who are asking if Multiplayer works.

I know, Tunngle. Yeah, but nah but! No. I would very much like to see a Sacred 2 server because people are still buying this game. I might put a server up myself if no one else will, but I probably need to know if that's even legal. (If it's non-profit it should be legal, right?)

Anyone on Tunngle? What to expect? Thriving community? A few dedicated players?

Oh, and I've seen a post here last night, about a new CM patch? Or a new patch coming up? I'm quite happy about the CM patch, so I'm definitely interested!

Another thing, Unbended.. Is it still happening? The sites I've seen seem a bit quiet as of late, so if anyone needs more coffee let me know!

I don't know what I'm trying to say. It just really, really, really sucks there's no Sacred 2 server and there should be one. I mean, thousands of people have bought this game. Surely someone at Deep Silver, Gog or Steam can do something for us?

    Who's with me?

  4. Gar Colossus can do some pretty weird stuff sometimes. Like kill you in one hit. Next time he'll just be walking up the ramp and not fight back while you're taking him down. Other times he keeps swinging at me but never even hits me. Or he hits like a whimp. But yeah, sometimes, he kills you in one hit. I mean, that's one of the things I love about Sacred! #TotallyRandom

  5. This build is about speed, accuracy and critical hits. I will leave it up to you what you want to do with your modifications, because it's all about preferences! This can be a tricky build to play and it's intended for the more experienced player who knows what to do with gear.

Tip: I myself like Life Leech on my blades, because that's pretty much what's keeping this Seraphim alive most of the time!

    Skills:

    1. Exalted Warrior. (140 hard points)

    2. Tactics lore. (140 hard points)

    3. Dual Wield. (140 hard points)

    4. Sword Weapons. (44)

    5. Amor Lore. (140 hard points)

    6. Toughness. (44)

    7. Speed Lore. (44)

    8. Damage Lore. (44)

    9. Combat Reflexes. (44)

    10. Combat Discipline. (140 hard points)

    Pretty weird, huh?

If you prefer equipping regular swords just dump every attribute point in strength. (I'm actually doing this for attack rating.) If you prefer short swords just dump every attribute point in dexterity. (You'll get a very defensive Seraphim that way, but she won't be as accurate.)

I myself am a big fan of Battle Stance and Dashing Alacrity and pretty much only ever use Pelting Strikes, so the Enhance Blacksmith Art will help you get there, since this build isn't about Stamina or Concentration.

You should keep your Combat Arts at Exalted Warrior's appropriate level. Combat Discipline will start to take care of the damage output later on.

This build requires patience and you'll need to be creative and resourceful with gear in order to keep her alive.

    Have fun!
