  1. With changes to how elites drop rares with the patch. Are you still doing jailer and butcher runs, or starting say at broken crown quest and going to the end.

MF I get 2-3 yellows per elite a lot of times without it, so is it worth swapping gear in or out, or sacrificing DPS to wear it all the time.

I tend to run Hell at 3 starting at siege breaker and going to the end for gold. Is there a better way?

I have around 38k dps as a demon hunter. Buffed it is around 76k. I can kill in act 1 inferno easy. I can kill in act 2 also, but with a little trouble. I have 300 all resist, 2700 armor and 20k health. Having trouble finding decent all resist and vit gear that doesn't cripple my dps.

Should I just farm act 1 or slug thru act 2?

Do anyone have some farming tips they would like to share?

  2. Thank you it is the second one. what you think about it. I looked on there and can't find a right handed version of that mouse.

oh I figured it out that isn't a mouse that is a keyboard. so get both of those and I will be set.

  3. I read a post on hear a few days ago and saw a picture of a mouse with like a mini keyboard above the right and left click button.

I am getting diablo 3 and thinking that those buttons for shortcut keys would be nice.

  4. You can change your settings to allow low-level characters into higher difficulties.

    In your balance.txt, change the line LevelMinForDiff = {1,1,60,100,140} to LevelMinForDiff = {1,1,1,1,1}

Then play in LAN mode, that's just singleplayer mode that plays like online net.

thx this will be fun to play with till I can play online.

WoW my level 34 shopper can get + 2 skill ammys. in silver I can't get those till around level 45. I just got a +6 bargining sash for her also. In silver all you can get is +3.

When I am able to get online. How to you get low level char to niob? This will be what I want to do first is get a level 2 there^^

  5. I found some +experience/kill rings at the shop so they aren't gone.

Haven't seen any ammy's that mod EP tho, probably because I wasn't looking out for one.

    Hope this helps.

    cheers!

I tried shopping with a HE and a DM. do you think that it is a race thing? I haven't seen 1 since I started playing blood and ice. It is like this I never saw +smithing gear till I made a DM shopper, so I am thining maybe a HE and DM can't spawn that mod?

Try a Temple Guardian then maybe?

At what levels & bargaining skill levels are you looking?

    cheers!

    Chareos Rantras

    tried 2 10 and 20

Ok I have tried to find rings with experience per kill with modifier EP for days now. I have found it on armor but not rings. I think my game hates me.

  8. The only ones that work is Dryad Combat Arts, guess it's because of gogo's fascination for Dryads...

EDIT: Demonic Blow, Battle Extension, Blazing Tempest, Soul Hammer, Ruthless Mutilation.

EDIT: No one works except for [s2wiki]Darting Assault">Darting Assault">[s2wiki]Darting Assault...

RPH makes this build rock. I didn't think about that when I first started this. I am now level 37 with 5 runes in DA 75 in SP and 45 in AB with a regen of 2.3 on DA.

No mobs or bosses yet has been able to sracth me. haven't had to use golden touch yet.

  9. Spunky is right about the execution speed bonus and item level without penalty. but you have no weapons in inventory your anxiously waiting to use, or do you? and with regen per hit and a super low regen you may never notice the Execution Speed only being 100%.

Having said that, EP is nice if you plan to use this build to farm your gear as opposed to bargaining it. Seeing how Spunky and I have access to our own shoppers we can live without the EP. if this is gonna be your main Char I am inclined to recommend you go ahead and take it. with +General skills, +all skills , +EP gear to keep it pumping (which EP will help you find. it will not make miracles but you will get better gold drops and I think the chance to find sets and jewels from grinding regular champs and mobs is better than without it for sure.

From this post BlackJAC has an inspiring testimony to the value of EP

Why did I choose EP over Bargaining?

Simple. Unless you already have a shopper, shopping ain't fun as you bought this game to kill things, not to go spend 30 hours playing a shopping sim. EP rewards you for playing the game in the manner in which most of us enjoy playing it - killing everything in sight or opening shiny chests and crates et al. Shiny is good and EP makes shiny objects even more gooder than gooder itself.

I used EP for the first time on my previous character and vowed from then on I was never going back to Bargaining as the amount of gear and weapons to be had from having EP up and running is nothing short of insane.

After spending a few hours in the orc cave I had accumulated 3 Ice flashes, 2 Tinwora's, 4 blood of the Dryads and more set pieces than my chest could hold. It really is that powerful. Granted you won't get dozens of +skill rings, but you'll have the gear, the weapons and a not too shabby cache of decent rings and amulets.

EP= Bargaining with a lot less effort and time imo.

    In a nutshell

As McFly once sang - It's all about the Buffs, folks. THE BUFFS! Don't leave home without them.

thx I am dropping ranged weapon for EP then. I have shoppers at 2,10,20,34,47,57 but it is a pain to swap to a HE and find dyrad armor in stores.

I just found out how awesome Regen per hit is. With a 6 sec DA and 1.3 sec regen per hit from gear. IF DA isn't ready after use. It is ready in 1 more shot^^

Sweet. good luck with it and have fun out there!

OK I got it to level 37 and it rocks. Just thinking how hard is it to find set items without EP. All the weapons I have used so far has came from my shoppers.

For armor I'll be using Chestplate of Time. The rest will be Detheya's.

So the +skill rings from a shopper would be nice. Thinking about rerolling here and take Range weapon this time. I have about 75 runes in SP and 40 in AB. Have DA down to a 2.4 regen with .09s RPH in my armor, so she spams DA. Would have more runes in SP and AB, but I haven't been playing long. Used all the runes I had on mules^^

I have faught Wild boar, white griffin and the flying mob in jungle. They can't even scratch me. Don't even need golden touch. Just found out what he meant about throwing stars. 1.1% LL I get over 500 added bonus on bosses lol.

    This build rocks.

  11. - Tactics Lore 100

    - Concentration 1

    - Capricious Hunter Focus 110

    - Nature Weaver Focus 110

    - Combat Reflexes 5

    - Ranged Weapons 1

    - Armor Lore 75

    - Constitution 75

    - Combat Discipline 75

    - Nature Weaver Lore 75

If I was to drop Nature Weaver lore and add EP. Would it cripple this build. If you where to add it what spot would you put EP at level 8 or 12.

  12. I am level 20 this is my skills naked

5 mentalism lore to unlock focus tree

    1 concentration

    20 bargaining

    13 mental focus

10 dragain magic focus to mod famiar buff

1 ancient magic to increase damage of Energy blaze

    This is geared up

    22 mentalism lore

    20 concentration

    45 bargaining

    30 mentalism focus

    27 dragon magic focus

    18 ancient magic

Ok I have energy blaze to regen of 1.3 sec, so I can spam it. I have np with regualar mobs, but white griffon gives this build some trouble. I have 18 runes read into dragon

beserk so with 2 transformation I can kill him.

Should I add more points to dragon magic focus to mod dragon beserk or take dragon lore and use it to mod it. My idea is to make him a pure caster, which I have done, so I rather not take dragon lore. Most his armor has -regen on it, so should I take amor lore just for the modifiers? Just asking what you think my last 4 skills should be,

What would you do with last 4 skills.

combat discpline to ruther lower regen on energy blaze

    consitution

    toughness

    armor lore

    or would you do

    dragon lore

    combat discpline

    consitution

    toughness

    consitution

  13. I found 2 lightsabers level 10 since I Posted this. I had in my balance.txt to allow merchant to have more items. I went and put merchants back to normal. I think him having that huge inventoey was blocking some items from showing up. Like I never saw throwing stars in the invy, I have found 2 nice level 10 ones also. I have found 3 level 10 blowpipes and 2 lightsabers. 10 Harp points and 15 soft points total 25 in bargarging. Still haven't found a blowpipe with %DB, but found one 4.1% to digard armor which is good right.

Also with that huge inventory they never had batteries for temple guardians now they do, so increasing the invy for shops is a bad thing to do.

  14. Are they a way to increase them to appear in shops. I have to reset the shops 20 times to get one to show up. I have a level 2 10 20 34 49 57 shopper so far. want to get enough bows and blow pipes to make my new dyrad.

your bargaining skill with hard an soft points needs to be very high as good blowpipes are like Light Sabers. they are out there but rare. your chance of picking one up from a champ or boss is as good as a merchants almost. here is a great thread from our friend Antitrust on how the bargaining and EP skills work.

sorry fellas we have a local thread on Darkmatters, but I can never find it.

I skill is high enough that all I see is yellow and just a few blue items, so that isn't the problem. I have been playing for a month or so and never seen a lightsaber. What level do you need to be to start seeing those.

My level 20 DM shopper has 20 HD skill points and 25+ skills so well over double his level. my level 10 DM shopper has over 20 skill points also.

  15. Are they a way to increase them to appear in shops. I have to reset the shops 20 times to get one to show up. I have a level 2 10 20 34 49 57 shopper so far. want to get enough bows and blow pipes to make my new dyrad.

  16. Thanks for the reply to both of you :)

and no I was not asking about the exploit :oooo: I got that all figured out hehe....(on console if I delete the update, I can exploite it for a wile to level fast, then I just download it again takes about 4 mins)

and yeah I finaly got it... I put a few more points in the aspect focus to mod out the summon (forget the name of the Combat Art) and with the added points I was able to socket 2 niob runes in so it gave me +12 into VD which got it up a bit, still takes forever to kill but at least now it does :oooo:

Thanks a bunch... and btw this is a great forum...lots of info, and nice builds

How do you use a high level shopper to add runes to a item to get +12 Vd? I just used a niob char to put 2 black curse runes in a level 21 blowpipe. level went to 102 and only 2 black curse and +8 LL.

I play pc with Ice and blood if that matters.
