another thing I can think of is that if you have changed your weapons or armour. If you weapons or armour have particular stat boosting qualities then when you change them you lose that particular bonus.

I was an inquisitor but have now changed over to a dryad so I have all my Inquisitor set items to trade for any dryad bits that you can find lol.
