There was no topic where one could post about a game that one was currently playing. So, I created this as a haven where sharing facts and videos and such related to a new or old game that we enjoy would be fun and informative and perhaps generate discussion and introduce others to what they could potentially also enjoy.

Here is a video that I uploaded to YouTube of a bit of my game-play of Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. The game environment is very rich both in visual and auditory content. The game possesses a large, open-world map and a plethora of rewarding quests, not unlike Sacred 2, Fallen Angel.

Dragon's dogma looks like a pretty good game as arpg, and from the fandom wiki it also seems very durable, it also looks very similar to Sacred (which is a compliment, of course). How long have you been playing it?

instead, I have tempraneamnet abandoned the RPGs waiting for when they will discount Sacred II and finally I will be able to try it. Now I have a multitude of games, and at the moment the ones I prefer are the FPS Dirty Bomb, and X2 the threat. I even stopped playing Sacred I, because by now I know it by heart and I don't even need to read the quests to know where I'm going, and it makes the game boring. Despite this, I have not forgotten my duties as a Sacredwiki editor, and as soon as I finish with a job I am doing, I will complete my quest work.

They are old, I think like 100 years. Maximilian Bircher-Benner did not only the Bircher-Muesli but also prototypes of Bratlinge/veggie-burger. I prefer the german term Bratlinge (small roasted things). Burger sounds too much like the german word Bürger (citizen). And hamburger, why should I eat a citizen of Hamburg?   ;)

Our family version was invented at a saturday after shops closed already. Our kids said they will bring friends with them for Sunday and the carefully calculated recipe from the internet for a Bratling went boooff. I knew one had a gluten allergy, another was a veggie...

So I mixed red lentils with Grünkern, Dinkel-wheat, Einkorn-Wheat and rice - noticing that they had nearly the same boiling (and watering) time. Our oldest is married and uses a Thermomix machine to do it for two persons.

Much like this video. It's german but the pictures should be self-explanatory.

    Wiki about Grünkern.

I guess that they must be very famous between vegan people,  but I've never tried out one.

The last time I ate something vegan was two weeks ago, when I ate a chickpea pie similar to a meatball, but made up of chickpeas. I think this is similar to a bratlinge, aren't it?

A few weeks ago just to give it a go, I tried out a vegetarian diet.  heh, didnt stick to it long... just to much of a beef eater...but it did put non meat fast food targets on my mind during that time, and I got to try out A and W's menu item called the Beyond Burger...which while expensive, was delicious for me  Just a few days ago went out and bought the burgers.

Anyone else tried these? Theyre not the usual pasty, dense as a cookie, old=style patties.. these plant based based protein burgers bleed

    slurp slurp

heres what it looks like when I cooked it at home and the package:

Certainly vegan diets are not for me, because I eat almost only meat and fish (and pizza), but once I tried something similar, although I can't say when ... I remember that the taste was quite similar to that of a real burger, but in any case I prefer a nice steak, or even better a pizza.

I've taken weapon lore as a skill in the past, if only to justify the "Battle" part of the Battle Mage. Adds a bit of variety in case you're bored with your Ghost-meadow/Flameskin/Fireball (or whatever you're going with) routine; However in my experience, the fun starts to fade as soon as you face tough opponents in numbers and you return to your mage-self to get out of Dodge. So, I'm kinda curious in knowing how far your "tanks" managed to go even with the Armor bonus from Relmin's!

Actually, I've used relmin's set during the golden campaign with the same bm that now im using in platinum.

Some might say BM's most devastating Combat Art isn't actually a C/A and shows-up in the skill list instead! You know what I'm talking about. In my days as a BM, What I enjoyed most apart from fireballing the horde into oblivion was to don my Mammons and slide into the Bravemart - another thing Ascaron got right:bow:.

You're right! I'm currently playing with a bm, in platinum difficulty level. I have to say that the more you go on with the difficulty levels, the easier is the game.

So I'm curious btw.  Do you guys complete the main quest and such as you move up through gold and platinum or do you use multiplayer to level into the difficulty level -- or breakneck teleport to each storyline objective to move on?

I usually play multiplayer while playing the champaign. I'v never finished the whole campaign in mp mode.
