Wow, Dinosaur huh? If people who worked with me are Dinosaurs what does that make me? ROFLOL :gogo:

Also Hi DARKWOLFNINE!!! And hi to everyone else!

This is a very strange time... First a few weeks ago AREA666 started emailing me regularly when for years now we'd just message once every other year on Facebook (we both hate Facebook). Then I get an email that Gogo posted in the interview thread so I popped in to see what was up and I saw this post! I can't believe so many people are around still!

NightWolfe!!! Hi! It's great to at least say hi after all of these years. (I swear. My welcome thread has to be the coolest one this year!! . Ok it's still the beginning of the year! It's all because I came back! (J/k! I'm anything but a center of attention. Just enjoy having fun and helping others any chance I can get!) - seriously though: I'm so glad to be able to see some great vets of the sacred fans/clan mates, as well as meet new ones. -

P.S. if we are dinosaurs, that makes you the God(dess) of all dinosaurs!

@NightWolfe: I'm so glad your husband has taken it to be humorous after all of these years! I remember all the time I was like: HERE ya go: (and unloaded a ton of new pics, stats, and the like) and you joked that your hubby would be so mad if you took all the time to get them into the site right away. Which was never a worry for rushing. I always just wanted to get you what I could, when I could, and figured you would get to it when you were able... Then the next day..... I was like.. crap.. she got almost all of that into her site already! Lol. A very patient husband you have. - but those memories back then (helping you with Sacred 2 info. Playing sacred 2 with the wonderful community of Clan-DA and Dark Matters!) are very cherished memories of mine.

While I'm not a large PC gamer that I used to be, I primarily focus on consoles as well (Nin Switch, my PS4 for current gen systems ATM.) I had the bug to come back to Sacred and try to get my wife to give it a shot, if I can get her gaming a bit) - I digress: while I tend to play mostly single player all the time, feel free to add me to your Sony PSN friend list if you want to: my username is (shockingly) DarkWolfNine. (This goes for any friends on here who play on any Sony system!) - at least it's another method to say hi once in a while!  - (p.s. how is Outer Worlds? Any good? I was debating about that one a little while back!)

(See what being a programmer by profession does? I get too winded with typing.) Lol.

    -------------

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

    Welcome back Night Wolf :bye:

Thank you bhj! Unfortunately, I'm not NightWolfe. She isn't around currently. Hopefully one day! I just had the pleasure of helping her a lot with the Sacred 2 side of her Wolfe's Lair site! - I can see the confusion though! We joked a lot about it back in the day. :)

    Trader build, most likely. :tongue2:

Jokes aside, those who can, stay at home, close the door behind you, dont let the cat out. Dont pick up the newspaper, or letters, wear disposable gloves if you go shopping. Cov19 can live up to 72 hours on certain materials and surfaces.

I don't want to say this is good news. But one article I read a couple weeks ago, said that COVID-19 could survive up to 9 days on room temperature surfaces.  - 3 days is much more understandable.  Thanks for the info Dax. And I did look it up, and you are definitely correct. Plastics and stainless steel (3-days), 24 hours for cardboard, and shorter for others.

I did buy one more unit of each of the usual weekly stuff, wouldn't exactly call it stockpiling to be honest. Supermarkets are still open, we just have restrictions when leaving our houses. Only one person allowed to come out at a time, only one customer per 100 square meters of comercial surface, a safe distance when within the shop, stuff like that. And if the cops pull me over and tell I can't be at that place they'll (for now) escort me back home. If I don't comply they can arrest me on the spot. It's kind of a simplified martial law without the repression and the curfew. If things get better and people behave well enough it shouldn't go any further than this. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Oh wow! - (I agree with buying minimally more than your usual stuff). I don't quite get the reason you want to buy 10 large packages of toilet paper (and probably weekly! *sigh*) at least when you could buy without a quantity restriction.

I hope everything goes okay for you Androdion! Stay safe.

Quebec's premiere just spoke last night..he's advocating that people dont even move from "regions" to "regions" ... pretty much stay in your local neighborhood only.

I never thought it would become like this... in our buses, the front of the bus is now not for entry as its entire section is cordonned off by plastic so that the drivers have very very minimal interaction with the public.

    And transportation...is free

    :D

    gogo

Isn't it just crazy? - WA state now has even more restrictions as well. Luckily we aren't condemned to our homes yet (like San Francisco). But still. This is unreal.

That bus stuff you mentioned, that is crazy. But I can kind of see why. They want to be able to offer the service as long as possible. Free transportation? That is nice. I hope ours comes to that. At least before they start minimizing the routes, etc.

I was out buying some groceries last night .. in the dark and criss crossing to avoid strangers  :D ... and saw the owners of the local sushi place on our street... he was with his wife and looked so forlorn and downcast... saying that the entire street we live on merchants business gone down by 75 percent

    gogo

75% ouch. :( - This is going to hurt so many people.
    (Love the criss crossing. heh.)

  7. Thank you Delta! :) - I really appreciate it!
I am sure I will enjoy it here. (Already am :D) I love how active it is. I am a bit sad that my Clan-DA has gone pretty much silent. Both sister clans have a lot of fantastic members of this community! But I'm glad to be here, and add support and content to any and all that would need it.

  8. Ya. Our entire office went into full remote starting today for the next 6 weeks.

On top of that our Washington state governor issued a lockdown statement for our state.

    https://medium.com/wagovernor/inslee-announces-statewide-shutdown-of-restaurants-bars-and-expanded-social-gathering-limits-bb19095b2251

Not that you need to read it. But I hope that it doesn't cause a lot of business to close permanently. :(

    Crazy times.

There are new recording tools which came out these years. For example:

-An option in the application GeForce Experience if you got an Nvidia graphic card. (free)

    -MSI Afterburner (free)

    -Bandicam (shareware)

    -Wondershare Filmora (shareware)

I think Fraps is not working on Windows 10.

Thanks desm for the extra info and alternatives! - I am running nVidia, and I am on Windows 10.. So I'll give some options a try!

  10. Thanks for the feedback drake!  I was just wondering. I used fraps back in the day and wasn't sure if there was a better alternative out there today.
(Sacred 2's optimization issues and fraps recording, taking a toll, I couldn't risk recording any higher than 800x600.. I wasn't about to lose my HardCore toon to a video recording. haha)

An interesting idea gogo. (Albeit potentially a tedious one) to record all side quests (individually). - The biggest tedium I see with that is the fact that you could only take one side quest at a time. (talk about even more back n forth than already exists with the multitude of quests). But I'll have to give it some thought. (Since I'm trying to get my wife into Sacred) I'll be playing the OG Sacred (aka Sacred 1 with UW/Gold, etc) heh.

Hi Chris! I've just split off your first data post to a thread on its own.  You should be able to edit first post as you wish as well as the title.  If anything's not working please post.

Thanks for this work on the vids and I will work on getting you access to SacredWiki

Thanks gogo! I did add the stats to as many as I had in the zip (I will have to dig around to try to find the remainder.) But for some reason it is duplicating 2 of the stats at the end of my edit/post. I'm not sure why. I've tried removing them a couple times, to no avail (once it saves).

I'm going to try removing the photos. Saving and then re-adding.

That worked. (For some reason it said I had uploaded those two images twice..) So I was able to remove one of each, and that resolved it. :)

  12. (Wow these are large uploads!)
I thought I'd share a few pics of me albeit a couple years old now. But seeing as how my clan-da member picture thread is 8-10 years old, I'd rather post some more current pictures!

    Cheers!

  13. And of course I live in Washington State (US) where all but one or so deaths has happened in the entire US. *sigh* (all on the west side of the state, and I'm in Eastern WA. But still) - I just need to make sure I can get up to Canada in the beginning of July for my friend's wedding!

After today (last day in the office at work) I'll be working remotely from home for the next 6 weeks or so. So that will help with the "social distancing")

Another story: My wife called the gym that we have a membership to, in order to ask what precautions they are taking for the coronavirus. (Like, do they wipe down the machines more, providing extra cleansing items, etc.) And.. the gal who answered the phone said "Don't worry, you won't get sick because the coronavirus doesn't exist"  - My wife was too surprised by that answer to even respond to that.  - I think this gal might be part of the Flat Earth Society! Seriously.
