You can somewhat get around it by commanding the summons to attack manually, but you're out of luck on console.

Ah, I see. Thank you. I really appreciate the info. I'm glad it's not just a me thing. 

It's not a huge problem. Just a little annoying when there's a boss and my scorpion walks off. 😂

I've found if I stand still, the summon tends to work better.

This is an odd one for me as I've never actually played with Moribundus Animus before. 

On the Xbox version of the game, whenever I'm in a fight, my scorpion summon will do his usual snippidy-sneggedy there goes your leggedy, but then he'll just stop for no reason and start to wander around aimlessly for a good five seconds. Then, out of nowhere, he'll jump back into the battle like nothing happened. Is this normal? Is my scorpion dumb? 

Re-summoning him and restarting the game doesn't seem to change this bizarre behaviour.

[Sacred 2 Quests Without Marker or Other Hidden Quests in Game?]

Only today, after playing the game on/off since release did I come across a tiny pot beyond a narrow path beside a river, and what would you know, there was a letter inside. It's crazy just how many little details there are hidden away.

Wonderful documentary. Thank you for bringing it to life. It just goes to show the passion and effort that went into making Sacred the only series that truly scratches that tongue-in-cheek, fun fantasy itch. 

It's a crying shame that we're unlikely to get a true sequel to Sacred 1/2, but, hey, maybe a spiritual successor will show up on Kickstarter one day! ☺ 

[Console Bugs and Glitches Thread]

I'm not sure if anybody has come across this but on my Xbox Series S digital version of the game, characters with transparent textures tend to flash white a ton. 

I've never come across this bug while using the disc version.

I never actually played on console...went from the demo many maaaaaaaaaaaaany years ago straight to the EU version of this game that included all manner of brazen violence and beheadings which tickled me galore!

I think it was around 2010 when I first started noseying around here. I just never had the guts to join lol. 

I had no idea there's a version of the game without gore? Being from the UK, I know there's the gore toggle in the options, but I honestly can't imagine slaying them without blood. Wait, or do you mean there's actual gore I'm missing? 😅

I'm super tempted to try the game on PC. As much as I adore the console control scheme and the dirty Dryad builds, it's not the most stable or functional version of the game. Plus, I feel like I'm missing out not having the CM and Ice & Blood!

Hello everyone!

I'm Jay, and I've been playing Sacred 2 since launch. I heard a few months back that it was now backward compatible with the Xbox Series S, so I got back into it in a big way. Mostly because life decided to throw a disability or two my way, but, hey, I get to game more! So there's good to come of that. Plus, it's given me to nudge I needed to finally join this awesome community. 

I absolutely adore the world of Sacred (especially 2) and the tongue-in-cheek style. Honestly, I can't think of another game that scratches that itch aside from Sacred. I also tend to play a lot of Souls games.

While I have been tempted to get the game on PC, I just can't bring myself to use mouse and keyboard after being spoilt by the console control scheme lol. 

I've lurked here forever and finally decided to join. I'm looking forward to contributing to this community!
