I know the Executioner's Axe doesn't have an 'in inventory' pic, but the 'equipped' pic for it looks rather how I imagine the Extremely Mighty Bat of Devastation (fantastic name imo!) would look given its 'in inventory' pic... Are they the same or is there a slight mix-up with pics there?

You can change to the default or the basic one if you scroll down to the bottom left corner and use the skin selector...its right next to the RSS button, in a dropdown box. You should have a choice of halloween (currently selected), sterling sacred (normal) and IP.Board Pro (basic)

Those these books drop or are there fixed locations as the "A Zombies Diary"?
The Crypt of the Damned and the Guidebook of the Huntress are definitely both drops. Given that all 5 new books are listed in the books game file, I would assume that they all have a random chance to drop as loot, even if some are very likely/guaranteed to drop in particular places.
...
and I really don't like this forum skin...far too hard on the eyes...

So far we seem to have 4 of the 5 new books added with Ice and Blood:
- Diaanja's Studybook
- A Zombie's Diary
- The Crypt of the Damned
- Guidebook of the Huntress
By my reckoning (and having looked at the books game file) these match up to:
- mgr.defineBook( BOOK_ADDON, 0, "BOOK_ADDON_KRYPTA" ) --> The Crypt of the Damned
- mgr.defineBook( BOOK_ADDON, 1, "BOOK_ADDON_IDEA" )
- mgr.defineBook( BOOK_ADDON, 2, "BOOK_ADDON_ZOMBIE" ) --> A Zombie's Diary
- mgr.defineBook( BOOK_ADDON, 3, "BOOK_ADDON_DIAANJA" ) --> Diaanja's Studybook

Just got to pick up the start of In Search of Life with my light Shadow Warrior, and check the Eastern half of the region in case Ice and Blood has slipped a DM-specific quest over there, and then I'll be done with the High Elf region and onto the time-consuming task of hauling all 12 characters through to the Human region!

An interesting note - the Snow Rabbit in the old 'Can Christmas Still be Saved?' chain of quests talks about having 170 children...as does the Easter Bunny in later updates of the game. Could they be the same rabbit?

If it was anything but a conversation box I'd agree with you, but since I highly doubt that conversation in Sacred 2 is that dynamic (typically all dialogue is listed in its own file/s with line references to put the correct conversation in the correct place) this programmer (yes, I have a degree in games programming ) is going to call it subtle reference... if I was feeling less charitable I'd call it lack of imagination

Zgold, thanks for the help with that page... I've rewritten that Helmet of Insanity page out so as to avoid acronym in a title page for better wiki searches, and, dom dom dom... I think I got to all the new pages that mister Strawberry donut has added to the wiki this morning for the Dragon Mage uniques!
I'm gonna play a few hours, and then head back in and see about filling in some of those red links for the item modifier pages.

it's because the dragon mage link and the shadow warrior links were going to the same page; solution was to link the dragon mage (because the shadow warrior's helmet already had a page called Helmet of Insanity) to a page with a slightly different name whilst keeping the visible link text the same, so the dragon mage now links to a page called Helmet of Insanity (DM).

define 'conflict' for me wraith? nvm, figured it out - Put the Dragon Mage helmet info on a page called 'Helmet of Insanity (DM)' - or create the page from the link in the DM uniques page

Wow, great work guys - I'll be joining in tomorrow to get most of the character specific quests (blue chain etc.) in the HE region filled in at last.
Side note: have critical hits with a 2-hand hammer always made the screen shake?

Just a note: with the Ice and Blood expansion, when you come across one of the Ascaron employees (or anyone else with a 'random' ! over their head for that matter, such as the two children that tell you about Blind Guardian) they have a grey circle added to their location on the map; this might go away once you talk to them, even if you're not doing the quest, but if you don't talk to them it marks their position from that point until you do. It's a bit annoying when you're scanning the map for things you haven't done, but they have no name tag when you hover over them (again, this might change if you actually have the Something Wonderful quest).

I do not know if this is a bug or not. Sometimes I have to press the mouse button multiple times to get a ca or an attack to activate. Sometimes I even have to make my character move and try again to get it to activate.
I've noticed something similar, but I thought it was probably related to the bug for some of the directional Area of Effect skills (like Scything Sweep) where the game insists you attack from a particular direction and will force your character to run to that position, meaning other enemies can block you. It could also be either a lag and/or a targetting issue where (for whatever reason) the game isn't recognising whatever you're targetting as a valid target.
Personally I'm now thinking it's another input-recognition related bug. I'll have to make a character called 'Suicide' and see whether there's a definite limit on how many (and what type) of inputs the game can recognise at once... Yay - bug hunting time!

It`s an amazing topic you have going here, good job mate. We`re going to have the new link up for Ice and Blood changes to the game link from index on the wiki`s front page, and then this sweet info can be moved in. Me and Schot are still looking for deals for at least four copies of the expansion, so we`re a bit behind with getting it just yet. Thanks you guys for getting the information together like this.

Are we counting all chapter 11 quests as 'side' quests? Or are we going to add a new section to the bottom of the Sacred 2 campaign quests page for the Ice and Blood 'story' quests?
Despite all the quests being counted as chapter 11, are we going to split them on the wiki (even if it's just into two columns) to make it easier for people to tell which quests are in the Seraphim area and which are in the cursed forest area?
As far as adding quests to the Sacred 2 wiki goes, I don't mind people editing the quest list pages to add/correct/move quest links, I just ask that if you're going to add a missing/new quest link to them, don't create the page the link will go to unless you're going to also add the quest info (with or without images). That way the link shows up red and I don't have to do so much work checking links for existing quest info.
My preference would be to have a page for the Seraphim area and another page for the Cursed Forest.
The story quests would fall under the chain quest category I would think.
We'll definitely need Place pages for the Seraphim and Cursed Forest areas, and at some point the interactive Map will need updating... As far as the quests go there don't seem to be a huge (50+) amount between the two areas, so I'm thinking just add chapter XI onto the bottom of the side quests page and split it into two columns of two (I'll do an example on my wiki talk page at lunch if I have time).
The story quests, although a chain, should have either their own 'Ice and Blood Main Quests' page or be tacked onto the end of the current Sacred 2 Campaign Quests page, unless we're taking the view that Ice and Blood doesn't have a campaign, just a new, really long chain quest plus some other side quests?

A thing that could have been added to the "Holdup" quest is that the quest enemies spawn at the server starters level.
I don't play MP so I don't notice things like this. Feel free to add a note to the wiki quest page.

My next 'ooh, shiney!' (aka. distraction) project will be an Inquisitor with Magic Staffs and Duel Wield, just to see if I can have a duel 1-hand staff and magic-missile slinging character not sure how many times I'll die whilst laughing if I can, but if you can it'll be a shame that only the Inquisitor has both the skills required...
Edit: You now get 2 CA/weapon slots at level 2, and 3 CA/weapon slots at level 5
seraphim and Dryad now can get Staff skill as a secondary choice. I haven't tried to see if I can do that. So there are actually three classes that have both the skills required.
I'll have to take DW on my seraphim for next skill choice and see if I can do that. Interesting idea. I know you cannot dw 2 throwing weapons. I already tried that.
Later: Ok, I just added DW to my seraphim. You can dual wield wands with other weapons. However, the staff skill appears to get over-ridden, no more magic wands when two weapons are equipped.
Aw, shame...I had such a lovely vision of duel wield staffs
