    Ranged Aiming Woes

    For instance: for my dryad to do a better job with Endaphic Lances, I put it in a combo with Tangled Vines. That aids in targeting. Granted, I stand still for a good 5-10 seconds afterward on my PS3 as the various enemies make these red numbers jump out of my character. That's just the price I pay for being inept.

     

     

    @Helterskelter - I have to break the target lock quite often when my Dryad is doing her best to run across the screen to kill someone on the other side of the map while I have a long line of undead chasing me and my dear wife asking "where are you going?"

    1. character staying still for five seconds after using tangled vines

    2. character staying still randomly and will not move unless I teleport

     

    - changed from blowpipe to bow and the freezing character stopped. Now, when character targets someone far away, she runs and controller does not respond and she runs across most of the dungeon. This was not fun when we were escorting a few companions.

     

    I call this our "buggy sessions" that our PS3 sometimes has. I had this problem with TES Oblivion too.

     

    am not looking for a solution, just informing the community

    Well where do I begin.... Ummm I'm 31 years old. I used to live in Pa then I joined the Navy and now I live Ca. I love games on all different platforms. I also love movies. So I'm just a sit on my butt person lol.

    This is me rushing my toon to Niob before the Add-On gets here. :badbad:

     

    I've got our network here running three copies of the game, and if you're able to get to this Plat server in HC EU, the experience right now is pretty good.

    Thanks for the words, Hsedai. You've just joined up, but been a delightful spring of happy posts, and adventure-tales since you've found us ^^ Yes, this is one of the more unique communities, and sometimes I wonder how it gets by without the seemingly requisite flaming that most other gaming forums have as foundation.

    We all agree that I'm beneath notice and hardly worth the effort. That is a given. I can do naught but tremble in abject consternation at some of these online battles that you titans have experienced while I struggle to thumb wrestle assorted dyslexic kobolds in the lower left portion of the map. My "toon" has training wheels and I struggle with my Fisher Price Kingergarten Toon kit. I saw some of your tremendous exploits on the Ascaron forum, Mister Blender. I know that you are a savant in this game. It was you that was curious and leveled up a Dryad with naught but a sharpened spoon and one of your many level 100 characters.

     

    Thanks for answering my many many questions and for sharing nuggets of wisdom such as "buy diapers"

    I know now that real men don't pause.

     

    Please know that I have a new hero this week though and its a Mister Schot.

    I tend to scream like a little girl and gesticulate at the screen while yelling "Oh Lawd, ah don't know nuthin bout birthin no babies" when I got scared. My wife then escorted me out of the theater and I can't watch "A Bug's Life" again.

    If you have nature lore picked, and cast Acute Mind with GGT...the health point regen is nothing short of insane. I was able to get a Dryad up to level 97 in HC before being reflected by a very naughty dragon in the Kamikaze (Course didn't stop Chareos from having his monkey step on me while eating pieces of my corpse :badbad:).

     

    The HP regen on the GGT boosted by Acute mind was more than 10 000 at that level per second.

    may I please ask what "have nature lore picked" means?

     

    I do have Nature Weaver Lore as one of my skills but I put most of my points into Capricious Hunter and Tactics Lore per Putrescence Build

     

    at the moment, I only have 5 points in Nature Weaver Lore

    Sacred 2 - Quest Atlas of Ancaria

    this will be tremendously helpful for me and my wife

     

    while we are trying not not die, we can find all of the quests. We are in Eastern Tyr Lysia at the moment but everything is orange because we did it in Bronze and are doing it again in Silver, so its difficult finding all of the quests again.

     

    Where might I find all of these 12 maps?

    Not 100% sure this would work, but if you were desperate, couldn't you speak to an NPC with a question mark?

     

    I'm sure you can't be hit whilst in dialogue?

     

    I have been hit in dialogue

     

    the safest place is in a town with no enemies

     

    we spent a half hour fighting some depraved guy who split into three people and healed himself constantly. Did we die fighting him? no

     

    that dude is on the right side of the map with all the blue koolaid that hurts

    PS3 - Pause Game

    The game doesn't pause at anytime, it is based on the Multi-Player idea that a game NEVER pause, it is based on a MMORPG style of gaming.

    may I please ask why they did a patch for the PC version that included a pause?

     

     

    From the Ascaron FAQ

     

    Q: Is there a way to pause the game?

    A: Yes, the patch 2.40 allows you to pause a singleplayer game by pressing P. If that doesn't work, check out this fix.

    maybe some how not to die tips too

    Heya,

     

    Pump Ancient Bark for all you've learned... nothing works better than a few hundred runes into this.

     

    The armor of time has some nice spectral armor and a high armor value.

     

    Defensive skills: Constitution, Armor Lore and Combat reflexes. Too bad the Dryad has no toughness eh :oooo:

     

    Damage mitigation.... as far as I remember for Dryad, this spawns on shoulders and Body armor. Mitigation is calculated first, so that takes a chunk out of your damage.

     

    Goldenglade touch.... use whenever u are (or think you are) in danger. Duration is not that long, tho the regen is awesome.

     

    Hope this helps a bit :D
