Finished!
My wonderful fiancée is a ninja with a scalpel (more proof here) and has cut the whole thing out for me, even going so far as to get all of the rips and tears.
If you notice any inconsistencies they're probably from my terrible taping skills

I work for an College that specialises in English language courses. Watching how quickly people pick up English makes me feel incredibly lazy.
I am slowly starting to learn some Spanish, but I think my brain is stuck in it's ways now.. I am only really getting the swear words

You MIGHT be lucky. The on board video is what is going to give you the most problems, I would imagine.
Did you try the demo? I'd be interested to know.

You will want to print at the highest DPI possible. Simply because it won't cost you any extra and the higher it is, the better it will look. Generally 300DPI (which is what the file is) is the minimum for printing, but as the dimensions increase you can print at lower resolution (because you are usually standing further away to look at it). Higher resolution will give sharper text.
11x17" is A3 in the international sizing, so 8 sheets would be A0 (33.1 x 46.8"). That is pretty big. I tried printing a single page at 1/4 size, which would equate to an A2 (16.5 x 23.4") size map and while the legend text is readable, most of the place/boss text is too small. I have also printed the whole map at half size (A1, 23.4 x 33.1") and it is pretty reasonable. I will cut it up and put it together tonight and see how it looks. I'd like to get it printed full size, but I am not sure I have a wall to put it onto
Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a simple way of increasing the text readability. Even increasing the font size would probably be an issue, because there are areas with a high density of symbols/text that would overlap. I don't think it's unreadable at full size, but you need to be standing reasonably close.

Wow, that brings back memories. The 3d still looks very polished, even by today's standards.
I must say though, quicktime sucks real bad.

I wholeheartedly agree. I'm used to people in games (particularly FPS) being rude and/or obnoxious.

Shell's commissioned ad agency JWT to create a spot showing off the wondrous properties of Shell's Helix lubricants. JWT then commissioned Asylum Models and Effects to create a transparent Nissan 370Z out of Perspex. While we're surprised that – Shell being Shell – they didn't use a Ferrari, after watching the commercial's companion making-of video, we think we get it. And hey, we're not going to sneeze at a working, transparent car no matter what it is.

I always thought he looked a little.. 'crazy-looking'.

hahaha, I just gave it a go.
"This does mean anything in a closed meeting speech from that for more. It doesn't seem to be buried. What their shoulders that the"
I said "This is me making a post with speech to text. It doesn't work very well. What does that mean!"
That's quite fun With a bit of practice, you could get it doing what you want. It'd probably work better if I wasn't using my laptop microphone.

It sounds like you have miscellaneous files left over from a previous install that might be corrupting your new install. By default, uninstalling doesn't remove all of the files. Try uninstalling, cleaning out the folders and reinstalling.
What version are you running? It seems a long shot, but there are Ice and Blood updates available that might fix the issue. You can get them here: http://update.sacred2.com/

haha, it does make me feel better. I'm glad it's not just meAh gratz dreeft! That great news indeed. If it makes you feel a wee bit better I can tell you that that tendency happens to me sometimes as well. Not to diminish your point of course but rather to share in the nuisance of it, haha.Cheers!

Hooray, got it all installed and working!
Was having some initial issues with getting it running, but after updating to 2.65.1 I was able to get on and start my first HC dryad toon (named dft.demonica).
As more proof of the excellent community Sacred inspires, I was able to grab some gold and runes from a friendly user and gear her up. I'm very grateful for the Ancient Bark rune already
The lag is not too bad (even with 3 others on the server), I find that the character has a tendency to keep running for a few steps after I've stopped. Nothing major, although it makes clicking on things (chests and doors mostly) a little annoying.
Looking forward to catching up with you guys.

I tend to agree with you Gogo.
The characters, emotional development, storyline and pacing of the movie did absolutely nothing for me. I did enjoy the visuals but it was clearly an excuse to show how much money they could spend on a single film.
I watched the 'making of' on TV not long after I saw it and I think I enjoyed that more than the movie itself. It showed the sets, prop design, 3d, etc.

Need to get her to pole dance in front of a merchant, maybe he'll throw her some gold?

Bell used to try and meter our usage here in Montreal. beh... we got rid of them pretty fast...but they're so full of administration..it took an interminable period of time for me to be able to find even ONE person who understand how to cut us away... we finally ended up with Canada's newest internet darling...

200 gigs a month for 29.99. We use that one account for all our computers ...5 megs is perfect for our needs and the money we save lets us spring for steaks every month.

We pay $60/month for 80gb (split 30gb on peak, 50gb off peak) and it's only 1500/512. Urgh.

Almost 7gb done. Stupid quotas forcing me to download it only at night
Do you guys have to suffer through metered downloads? A mate of mine in the states just got Verizon FiOS and was telling me about his 15 Mbit/s connection. We figured he could download the game in a few hours. I almost cried.
Why does Australia have to be so far away!

Hooray, an Aussie. Where you from?
Welcome to Dragon Mage.

If you wouldn't mind sharing, drop me a PMOn another note, do the unlock codes still work? Someone from the thread was kind enough to PM me the list, but when I type unlock XXX in the in-game ~ console, nothing happens!
Yeh, that makes a fair amount of sense. I usually keep extra weapons in my inventory, but I can definitely see the advantage to having them slotted and easily accessible. Not to mention not taking up more space. So it sounds like PC has 5 weapon, 5 Combat Art and 1,2 or 3 buff slots (depending on concentration)? For a total of 11,12 or 13 slots... but obviously not as customizable as the console. But then, you get a mouse and its right/left click trickery. That pretty much summarizes how I have my setups when going thru Niob. I typically try to have at least 3, if not all 5 types of damage ready to use; so I have a physical weapon set, fire weapon set, etc.... although only 2, maybe 3 types are used in any one region, and I keep the others/spares in the chest (no carrier imps on console). Currently, I have 4 weapons slotted, and only 4 combos/Combat Art's. 3 for my buffs, and one empty, incase I pick up something I don't want to accidentally sell or scrap. Sometimes the empty weapon slot is used for my "buff suit" but not at the moment.
Btw, You can get the carrier imp on the 360, it's DLC. Costs a few hundred points, from memory.

Fair enough. As far as I now, there is only 5 of each (weapon/Combat Art) no matter how you customize your key bindings. the upside is changing the Combat Arts you have slotted in between battles is easier on PC. just hit E and drag and drop what you need and your ready to go. not something to do in battle but there are always pauses between mobs. And on PC you can fight with the E,C,F windows open. well not all three but I have fought with 2 open before. It is slightly confusing having 5 slots for weapons. Does anyone really need that many weapons available on hand at one time? Wouldn't it make more sense to have 2 (maybe 3) slots for weapons and the rest for Combat Arts? For example, Dryad. I'd probably want Ravaged Impact/Darting Assault/Acute Mind and Golden Glade Touch available, which would fill most/all (pre Ice and Blood) of those slots. But then I'd want access to Edaphic Lances and Tangled Vine when going up against bosses. Definitely sounds like combos are the way to go, but this could take some adjusting!
Sorry for the thread hijack cloud

Aww, how'd I miss this! Happy extra-belated birthday Gogo

Alright alright, haha. I'll post something tonight guys. ^^ I do have some experimental pdf versions of the map. I just haven't had time to go to the printers in order to figure out how best to set up the image for print. I'll start up a topic and maybe you guys could test out what I have.
I deal with printers and setting up files for print on a daily basis. Let me know if you have any questions.

I believe Acute Mind gives less of a boost now too.

Welcome Etherian.
I have had the same idea to print the map. I have a company here who will print A2 size for $25 (200gsm). A2 is roughly 16.5 x 23.4 in (or 420x594mm). They also do A1 and A0 for $30 and $35 respectively.
My only issue is finding a copy of the map in PDF format. I am fairly sure I have a copy of the original map, but it would be useful to be able to print the new areas from the addon.
If you find one, please let me know!
Anyone got any Abishai stats?
