  1. I've always liked Status Quo, although I wouldn't consider myself a fan.

This is what I listen to right now:

Manilla Road is an old American underground heavy metal band.

They are still playing to this day.

If you ask anyone outside of metal if they have heard of them, they will answer no.

They are greatly infuenced by NWOBHM, or New wave of British heavy metal, although they usually blend it with thrash and power metal.

  2. Hey Sirius, this game was a ton of fun!

I think most of the negatives about Steam is that it's a constant connect system for us. The Autonomy most of us classically define as being a game is transformed with this constant connection...

kind of a like a big brother kind of thing?

Plus I think I remember that with Sacred 2, Steam didn't have the patches as quickly as the rest of us would get if we had bought the game through traditional channels.

    :)

    gogo

I seem to remember a reviewer saying that he finished the game in 11 hours on normal difficulty, all side-quests included.

    Is it really that short?

  3. Heroes of Might and Magic is my favorite game of all time especially Heroes 3. I have played it literally for thousands of hours. 4 and 5 were a bit of a let down and I don't think the upcoming Heroes 6 would be much of an improvement.

    Another Heroes 3 fan?

I'm delighted to hear that. I was really BAD at HOMM3, but I always just enjoyed the beautiful visuals and brilliant castle-themes.

They were always the strength of any HOMM game in my opinion.

Don't believe me? Then check out my personal selection of themes in my game soundtrack thread.

Looking forward to HOMM6, and I was glad to hear that Paul Romero was making the soundtrack to that game aswell.

  4. We have our own kind of porridge in Norway.

It's a powerful meal that dates back to the 1300's.

During Christmas, it's popular for farmers to put a bowl of hot porridge in front of their barn for the "barn-goblin" to eat, so that he won't cause any commotion or hurt the animals.

The most common porridge in Norway is made out of rice and milk, and boiled into a thick stew that is sure to fill any stomach.

It is usually served with sugar, cinnamon, butter and/or raisins.

  5. And by the way, I have no intention to stop posting, essjayehm.

Why would I ever do that? :o

So you could stay as a spectral mercenary?

"blind" guess on your movie would be Sahara... although I haven't seen that version all the way thru, and it was a long time ago I saw it... I think I'd remember that gun, tho... :mafia:

Ah, that haven't even crossed my mind.

Perhaps I should make that a new hobby?

Just register to forums and post until I have som kickass rank. ;P

And by the way, Sahara is also wrong.

Cool gun eh? If you had that illegaly in your house, the police would never find it as long as you kept it on top of an old stove.

    A hint about the screenshot:

It's about a comrade who wanders the desert longing for his beloved wife.

  6. I asked my brother today what happened to the computer in the first place.

He said that his first original GPU started to show signs of error in games.

Finally, the whole videocard broke down, so he swapped it for another.

Bear in mind, his computer was delivered with a strangely low 250W PSU for the entire system.

After he bought the new video card, he purchased a more powerful PSU of around 750W.

It worked for a while, until his system started to show more signs of failure.

He then purchased a new computer, and dumped the old one with me.
