Whats the best PvE build? - High Elf

Don't plan on pvping so I just want the strongest possible pve build. any ideas let me know.

Every class is quite capable of demolishing PvE. Common builds you'll see are:

 

DW Seras

DW SWs

Shadow-Necromancer SWs

DW Int Staff Dryads

Ranged Dryads

Melee TGs

Melee/Source Warden TGs

Fire HEs

Ice HEs

 

Inquisitors are a great class with strong melee and good Area of Effect (much like the TG), but their Shadow-only limitation and the tendency for people to go Light in multiplayer doesn't mix well.

 

If you're desperate for someone to pick a class for you, any DW class is a solid choice, the easiest of which to build is a DW SW.

Hehe, oops.

 

Ice Elves and Pyro Elves are both solid builds that operate and are built similarly. A build I ran before I got bored of my HE:

 

(not necessarily in this order)

Mystic Stormite Focus

Mystic Stormite Lore

Delphic Arcania Focus

Ancient Magic

Concentration

Armor Lore

Constitution

Shield Lore

Combat Discipline

Delphic Arcania Lore

 

It's an Ice/Magic build, but you can make it a Fire/Magic build by simply switching the Stormites with Pyromancers.

If you like, you can drop Delphic Lore for something else and make a 1-element build (which is fine since you have Ancient Magic).

Fire has much much better Area of Effect dmg, but ice has best single target nuke (unless you're on a console) and has nice survivability
