A Shadow Warrior can be a good forger,

 

TG & Inquisitor can be Forger AND Bargainer at the same time which is always a nice combo

I have read on other threads from this site that there is a bug with the forge skill on the console games. I dont know when or if Sony/Microsoft will come out with a patch for this problem. I have a low level SW that has forge asw one of his skills and I can not figure out how to use the skill.

So for the time being right now I don't think u should take forge as one of your skills if is not working
