Skill and character help for Shopper Pyromancer

I just recently got this game and I'm currently needing a little help with understanding it. I've decided to make a shopper pyromancer and I'm level 16 right now. How much %to find valuables is needed to have a chance to find set items and uniques? SO far I have 50% and not having too much troubles but with this much for alnost 4 levels I haven't found a single 3 star item. Is this normal or am I too low a level? Also any tips on leveling up? Iv been grinding skellies around clearview and it takes me 20 minutes to level up if I'm lucky. I hear of people getting to level 15 in 2 hours or less and I'm just wondering how they do it so fast. Sorry for such a long post and thanks in advance for any help

Typically if I wanna level to 15 in a hurry I just run straight through the Campaign to and a little past Gar Collosus. Now mind you I do do some side quests such as class quests, the rune master quest in Sloeford, the escort quest hold up and the dead chicken quest just pass where you get hold up.

 

As for finding set pieces I actually had a seraphim just being remade and found her first set (Thought it was Rev Tech set) right as I was getting to the Orc region, and off I think it was either a norm or one of the lower champs. All the same, I have had sets drop as early as Gar from farming him on Free World but I have never seen them drop at levels be low that and the lowest I've seen are level 15 level req sets.

 

Typically you won't start seeing mass sets piece and what not dropping off typical mobs till after you level 20 point and even then you'd have to have at least EP to 2x's your character level. I rarely use MF items though cause I can't seem to find any that actually offer some combat help.

 

As for grinding if you are around 18-20 I'd head to Orc Cave and stick to that till around 25-30 and then continue with the campaign. This is if you are in Bronze difficulty by the way. Once you've grinded the levels in OC, you pretty much are set the rest of the campaign, as you'll level from killing mobs and bosses after that quite easily.

Okay thanks. Right now I'm in silver and I just got past dragonmaw pass. Iv never been to Gar'colossus yet ><. For most of my time iv been remaking characters because iI had a level 25 30ish seraphim but didn't know you could move skill things over so I had focus and lore for all the trees.... what quests do you recommend doing? And also how long does this take you on average. If you know . Also what is the point of class quests? Do you get a class specific item or is it just for fun? Sorry for all the questions ima noob to this game :X

think there's a good post about a level grinding spot in the pc general discussion section. Lower left side of the elven realm, there should be a path leading north (starts right above the beach, the one that leads up to the White Griffon I believe), there should be a cave on the northeast side of the path (path turns left), inside there are 3 elite elementals and 2 normal elementals, kill them quick, don't open the chests exit and re-enter and they should respawn. If your HE is a shopper I would go for +all skills/+general skills/+bargaining and teleport between 2 merchants until you find good items for your character, I've peopel have actually said it's easier to outfit their character w/ bargaining as you can reset shop inventory until you find roughly what you're looking for, even though you only find 2 star items they're stats are often (in my experience) close to/better than some set pieces (though they won't have set bonuses).
