Nice heads up Jard, did you use same method as OP to create the dragon pet? gogo I couldn't get the id = 3000 part to work, It would create a black box that said empty on it. so I used an existing id = xxxx to get mine to work.

Perhaps his appearance, kinda like you can in creatures.txt with standard creatures, and how long he stays spawned for.

Thanks for this, How easy would it be to change the dragon to a human character (example, town guard, bandit, etc)?. EDIT: I managed to create human companions, Thanks for the guide!

Another possible idea is if there is a way to add a spell that summons a different hireling (I.e a guard or mage). Why did the devs call them hirelings if you dont technically hire them?

I'm not sure if this has already been done but I have a idea for a possible companion system. You could goto a city for example and hire a soldier (Mercenary ) and they would follow you and work similarly to the escorts in quests but they would be permanent. I have no idea how moddable sacred 2 is but its just a idea I had.
