Patching Sacred 2

As stated in Sacredwiki:

 

Patch 2.10.0 - October 4th 2008

Patch 2.11.2 - October 15th 2008

Patch 2.12.0 - October 24th 2008

Patch 2.31.0 - November 28th 2008

Patch 2.34.0 - December 17th 2008

Patch 2.40.0 - April 2nd 2009 (Cumulative patch: Use the 2.40 Full Patch first on an install that has never been patched and proceed to patch 2.43)

 

Does this mean if I installed an un-patched fresh copy of Sacred2 F/A prior to Ice and Blood, patches 2.40 and 2.43 is all I need? What about 2.10, 2.11, 2.12, 2.30, and 2.34 do I need to patch them too?

 

Kindly clarify any help will be greatly appreciated!

Yep, all you need to do is use the 2.40 cumulative patch (which applies all patches up that point) and 2.43 patch. Make sure that its the 2.40 cumulative patch though, the size is approx. 1GB.

I have sacred 2 UK version with expansion and I install this patch for sacred 2 in this order:

I. 2.10.0.0 --> 456 MB

II. 2.10.1.0--> 21 MB

III. 2.11.2.0--> 24MB

IV. 2.12.0.0--> 24 MB

V. 2.31.0.0--> 620 MB

VI. 2.34.0.0--> 253 MB

VII. 2.40.0.0--> 200MB ( small patch )

VIII. 2.43.0.0--> 48 MB

 

This is a correct install patch of game? I whait an answer

That is the correct order king angel, but there is an alternate to all the intermediate patches up to 2.40 in a larger cumulative version which basically applies them all at once.

Sorry to bump an old post.

To keep it simple: I want to update my 2.12.0 US version and all I have available is 2.12.0 to 2.31 in a UK version.

Will that work or is it incompatible?

That will be incompatible unfortunately. However, if you go through the page here you can find the correct (US) patches you need to fully patch the game:

Final Question :

 

All they have is the 2.12.2 to 2.40 patch for US... will that work?

Cause the 2.12.0 to 2.40 file they have which is my version, is in UK.

 

I found this page on the same site and WIll try it as it is US not UK:

I found out that my particular version is obsolete. Go figure US is the only Country that has this version which is no longer available and I bought it from Walmart half a year ago.

I'm a little confused about which version you have now, but if you have 2.12.2 US then there is a patch on this page to patch the US version of 2.12.2 to 2.40. Otherwise, if you have US 2.12.0 then as you say, the US 2.31 version on the page you linked should work and you can then apply 2.30 => 2.40.

The other page I posted here thanks to you directing me to the site worked, I patched the game and it works. Another note for those who wonder:
Yyou do not have to worry about losing your save or having to re-activate , I was worried about that but in the end found out it keeps your save and activation.
