For those who do not have Guild Wars 2

Recommended Posts

It's time once again to throw open the Shing Jea Boardwalk, rev up the Rollerbeetles, and don our party hats for two weeks of festive fun from April 24th to May 8th. In addition to the usual games and gifts, we're packing this party with drops and activities never before seen in an anniversary celebration! Guild wars is commemorating their seventh anniversary with a huge party in Shing Jea Monastery and outposts all over Tyria.

Are you light on your feet? Speak with Captain Li Sah and test your dodgeball skills in the Dragon Arena! Do you feel the need for speed? Speak to the Rollerbeetle Trainer and take a spin in Rollerbeetle Racing. You'll find both these NPCs in Lion's Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, Kamadan, and the Great Temple of Balthazar.

The fun doesn't stop there. During the festival, keep your eyes peeled for more special drops than you've ever seen before. And be sure to stop by Embark Beach to talk to Ceira, Sworn to Fire. During the celebration, she'll be distributing the limited-edition Ranger pet: the Hound of Balthazar.

Thanks for Seven Years of Support!

Thanks again to each and every one of you for your continued support over the years. We wish you the best of adventures in the year ahead. Enjoy the festivities!

Dawn and I did some level grinding today without knowing about this imagine our surprise when we saw slices of pumpkin pie, bottles of grog, bottle rockets, hunters ale and more being in pre-sear Ascalon! If you don't have GW2 yet come and look for us. We will be in and out of the game straight thru till the 8th. Come and join us! I'm going to run to Embark Beach and find out about the Hound (he looks like a dog made out of lava! You can see a pic of him here!)

Great scenario. I'll never forget my first few times seeing Guild Wars festivals. Charming, entertaining, highly imaginative and always fun. I won't be there for this hoohah, save me a slice from the pumpkin!
