  1. Confirmed - I don't get XP for Ker demon kills. Pretty much ruins that intended build. Also, his damage is shockingly low.
  2. I believe that question cannot be answered without knowing your combat skills of choice. From a weapon-damage perspective: - Dual is best for FR - more hits = more chances for additional hit procs. FR is not as good while mounted. - I've seen various answers on the Sweeping / Demonic weapon of choice. - Hafted is best for Spectral Hand, according to the SW guides page. From a mod perspective: Dual will pull ahead endgame. Dual offers the ability to have up to 6(!) gold slots. Any specific weapon skill offers 3 slots+inherent weapon abilities unlocked by specific weapon skills. When you're dealing with something like +15-18 to all Combat Arts or all skills per gold slot endgame, it is going to be a rare inherent weapon ability that would surpass the extra slots from dual. This, of course, assumes you have someone to feed you quality gold ammies. You also get all sorts of other options, like massive magic find buffs, which are how your SW can pay back his bargaining friend. ---- Erm, and as for the buff question: SW has fantastic buffs. RE and SV are both godmodes in their own way but require significant rune investment for maximum return, and NA and GR aren't too shoddy either.
  3. Is that to imply that there is some relationship between EP and level in the same way that there is a relationship between bargaining and level? I don't want to get hooked in to too many "must max" skills, but I'll also be sad if whenever I forget my +18 in EP from 6 relics it totally nerfs the build. Meh, maybe this will allow me to get behind an SW build I've been tinkering with but never committed to due to the lack of Bargaining. Which I've also never gotten to really work for me, but then I've never taken it on an HE level 2.
  4. ChromE that is what we all play online on the pc. It's called Hard Core Mode. If you die...you are dead....you cannot use the character anymore even if u wanted to..... you loose all your items and gold in the characters inventory also. O.o Unfortunately HC mode is not available on the consoles if thats what you are playing on. I play console HC. I throw my controller as hard as I can when one of my characters dies. Although, it takes me vastly less time to earn the money to buy a new controller than it would to get a chara to level 100... so maybe I'm medium core.
  5. I am building my shopper towards a similar build. I'm down to considering Constitution, Nature Weaver Lore, and Combat Discipline as my last choice. I'm not on HC, so that's not a concern. Wouldn't CD be a better choice for a shopper, in the "kill more faster" line of thought? And NWL gives sick regeneration boosts to AB and GGT - is Constitution really the way to go? I'm not doubting, just curious whether Constitution is included in so many builds because it's optimal or just because it's required for HC.
  6. Do creatures show vulnerabilities when you left stick click, or only resists? Sometimes one of the icons seems smaller than the other, but it really hard to see on my TV.
  7. So enhanced perception's mastery description says "Chance to find secret compartments in chests and hiding places." Is this = magic find on items? Will I only benefit from these boosts in barrels/chests/etc., and not on kills? Also, is there any correlation between magic find and higher quality loot, or only more of it? I have a hunter dryad I'm trying to use to drum up some decent equipment, and I keep forgetting to switch between bargain gear and EP gear. How much am I robbing myself of by doing this? The interface isn't exactly smooth on the Xbox, would have loved to have a couple "dolls" I could switch between rather than having to reassign each equip piece each piece manually.
  8. You list Globe as your gold fireball mod. It's a silver tier one on Xbox. Do you have any strong reasons to avoid hot trail? It seems like a valuable asset to me, especially with fusilade and greek fire.
  9. Hey all - I've noticed that I can get pretty good effect of broad Blazing Tempest by not pushing forward on the stick, or a narrow one by doing so. I haven't seen the same amount of control over glacial thorns. Anyone want to help me out?
  10. Special Shadow Warrior FYI: In terms of unlocking mods for Combat Arts, the Shadow Warrior (uniquely) unlocks mods for both Malevolent Champion and Death Warrior through Tactics Lore, giving twice the mod points for the same skill point investment. Your regen time will suffer, but for an Astral Warrior who is looking to mod Guidon, Reflection (for Idol), Rousing Command (for Leader), and some melee skill (Demonic Blow or Sweep) it's a pretty good deal.
  11. Tooltip for TT says it only increases chances of headdrop if opponent is killed BY TT. True? Or does it increase chance if opponent is killed by anything while under TT. Thinking of getting Bronze TT mod just to up headdrop chances, but not if it has to be killed by the spell... it's pretty naff.
  12. I'm new to Sacred, and I've read around quite a bit trying to figure out how to balance my CA levels. I still am not sure I've gathered any "rules of thumb" for them. Care to help? Right now I have an Astral Lord on Silver, around level 30. His SF and NA are both at level 1 still, as I'm afraid of raising them too high and damaging their utility (as I did with AG, which now takes 10 seconds or so between uses). When I look at high level toons posted online, they have massively high CA levels (100+) - how much of that, usually, is from eating runes, and how much from item boosts? I'm gamely struggling to kill enemies with extensive use of Rallied Souls, but that has obvious limitations (such as boss fights). I'm about to unlock perma-Veil, but that will just allow me to avoid the issue rather than confront it. I also have a backup ranged Dryad I'm running a bit now, as her weapons-based skills seem to bypass the suckness of low level CAs due to their damage source being weapon damage - again, avoiding the issue rather than confronting it. Concrete questions: 1. When could I expect to start finding a lot of +all CAs or +all Astral CAs? Is it worth constantly forging runes in and out of weapons? Should I just chow a dozen SF and NA runes and have done with it? 2. I've seen "keep duration > regen" as a rule of thumb around for many CAs. 3. I've also seen "keep one or two main damage CA spammable and have the rest as powerful as you can." 4. Can someone explain the full implications of raising CA level on Aspect cooldown (as opposed to cooldown for arts with cooldown times, which I get) I'm sorry these are so remedial, but the Xbox documentation is laughable when it comes to even playing the game, much less understanding strategic choices in character building.
  13. 1. Under what conditions is Sharp Blades worth more than an additional Skellie? Are damage mods calculated simultaneously or serially? If simultaneous, I would suspect that a fourth skellies with Rousing Command (War Song / Impulse / Leader) and Augmenting Guidon > 3 sharp skellies. 2. In terms of building the ultimate summoner, Dryad has more flexibility between different heads & her summon can be MUCH more effective than an NA (Malice/Elevation/Fury) - I've heard that the Scorpion is simply breathtaking, but have no experience to back it up. I suspect that SW's better party buffs (Reflect, Rousing, Guidon), multiple summons + additional Rallied mobs, and Shadow Veil will easily tip the scale in his favor, but I'm still kinda envious about the possibility of ever growing summon types. 3. Bonus question - did I just kill my horse with Hurled gnomes? Is it possible I did that?
