Hey guys, wer'e being hosted on the new servers now, we just want to know what the access speed is like and your comments on this.
Is it faster?
Slower?
Same?
Please post your forum access experience regarding speed here if you can because this helps us with knowing if we have to ask for more or not and /or if this move was successful.
Is the forum access speed as exhibited today a deterrant or do you consider it acceptable.
I myself an experiencing a considerably higher forum access speed.
So, yeah...today the forum is really fast.

Heh, well I'm glad it wasn't just a few of us.
I know for the mod team the slowdown has gotten pretty bad lately with all the behind the scenes work.
IPB is bein a star about this and is gonna try to once again get us to the speed we need.

Our good friends at IPB have responded smartly today after a pm and told us that they will move us to a brand new server tommorow morning.
This Move will take about four hours of time and will occur at 9.00 am EDT.
Please make those adjustments to your alarm clock
We're hoping this move will give us the lightning fast speed we've had in the past and have come to expect from IPB.

what level do you hae yer bolts CA at?
How are you making the damage go up?
Are you eating lots of runes?
Or have you just eaten one and then are you making it's damage go up by other ways?

Heh, I"ve only been reading your posts now for what it seems for so long on the SIF and it really was a pleasure to finally hook up with you on the HC servers. And, I've got to say thanks for the time you've spent putting up and formatting your hc guides here...very much appreciated and very useful ones as well!
I'd known that you were doing a lot of cool and intersting builds and when I'd come to known that we were having challenges with getting rights for build publications because a lot of the old builders had left, I was ecstatic when I saw that you has just posted recently on the SIF and that once again you could be reached...joy!

Hello!
IMHO the lag issue considered with ICONS and FAD is a little too pronounced.
OK Icons COULD create lag thats true. But a single wood elf will do much more using spiderarrows would make much much more. There are some mods that are really evil lagwise like xx% chanche to drop gold or open wounds.
I never heard that thoose - otherwise by me highly respected players (for ex. ppl at clan DA) would complain against a Glad in Dalmar or a WE using spider arrow or anyone who overspamms thoose hideous mods.
I think the really rareness of ICONS (so not everyone have it) is a part of the problem. (with a little envy maybe). I saw situations too where strongly Fad or Orla hater players (again mostly highly respected ones) performed things, what build up lags more quickly than any Fad or ICONS would do normally.
Of course overusing ICONS and/or Fads isnt only lag related. I must add I dont really like builds where the main usability comes only and really only from the mentioned stuff.
There is that ORLA thing too. Now I think that is really something evil. It creates Lag and more lag and much more lag until it crashes the server. Well considering full orla I am no better than UFO
One more word about ICON set. Back at the PLUS days at higher levels almost each player used it. It was much easyer to get a full icons (or more fulls et) than now. But strangely we hadnt too much problem with it.
So either the people changed or Ascaron servers (or both).
In that case if someone would feel herself/himself offended in any way: dont! I didnt mean anything like that.

Rooster has actually just recently posted on this thread in the sif commenting that it's not actually the icons that cause the lag but instead, the splitting
that most people use that cause the lag. Course, with all this goin on , I'm just going to have to try them again now, *Sigh*
However, I do remember that in the old days, LeZababe used to run around with icons on horse against a horde of ravaging daemons.

heh, first question...if she's only using bolts...is there any reason why she needs conc and physregen?
I mean, won't she only be using left click attacks?
If not right clicks, then doesn't half the use of phys regen not be used and conc as well?

p.s.s k...I see where this is coming form and it's very intersting...thes bolts are phycical Combat Arts...so phys regen and conc actually reduce the time on casting it?
how bout hellpower then...does hellpower have any effect at all since hell power only affects magic spells and bolts are not magic spells but Combat Arts?

Therion, I'll be honst, I was gettin a bit tired of the disks and the huge damge the daemon was doin...but this energy daemon build is complety inspired me!
Do you have a posted build for this energy daemon?
So when people see this they can run to your guide and build it?

ahh, Jun, I hope yer holding out with this. Relative problems are THE most painful things around. It's like almost entering into a no win situation. The worst thing is..everyone there knows everon'es buttons!
I hope you guys can find the patience and the time to get everyone to just get close on this and listen and really see what this is all about.
OUr family is SO fiery , and we've had our share of pots flyin around *Sigh*...ahh, my aunt...
anyway, lol
See the bottom line is this...feuds never last, and anger tweenst family rarely lasts unless someone's gettin some kind of weird/bizarre payoff from nurturing that kinda hate (sorry ta go dr. phil there).
When I"m in trouble or I feel a storms coming I just usually become the world's greatest listener and really try to just synch in with a person's hurt...that make sense?
My painful experience with this is that usually it's about someone feeling that they're losing some kind of face. Find a way to give them some honor and perhaps some pain can be saved.
