Man, the daemon fascinates me
I've never seen these kinds of ideas before...this whole forms things completely has taken me for a loop and I gotta be honest, just getting used to the idea of first clicking on a button to switch to a form then having that same button become the action button for it's attack took me a long time to get used to.
I had known now for a while that a lot of people had fallen in love wiht the Daemon's Disks and so got a look at her fiery armory last night.
Geez, the damage coming from her arsenal is crazy!
And the animations for all her CA's are beautiful, Fire being one of the coolest things to see online when it is done properly and sacred, still being an old game, comes across nicely with it.
I am currently doing just research on her. God, it took me a whole day just to get her to level fifteen cuz I was so nervous as to what to do. Looks like magic is her mainstay but I would really like to know if anyone has found a way to make her be able to use Assail as a primary weapon?
Also, if I duel Wield her what will her chances of being able to make it to niobium be like?
Shoud her last pick be ARmor to help with her taking damage?
After studying her for two days now this is my plan.
I am going to read as many COD and INfernal Damage runes as I can. Then I am going to combo these two buffs. Everytime I go into battle I want to cast the Combo, super buffed this way THEn...
Use Physical form with Assail whilst having disks and hellsheres.
This means, two buffs, with a physical Assail with two magical backups.
So...you guys think this can work?
I tried doing the setup with keyboard but it wasn't workint out well cuz I also have to use a magic regen weapon slot to bring down the timing on all the magical ca's.
So I"m using my nostromo right now to dance between all these ca's.
Do you guys think this sort of a renaissance Daemon can make it to niobium comfortably?
Or...am I better off just concentrating on one CA?
Also, to all the other Daemons out there that have made it to plat or niobium, what have you used in your builds?

p.s. I'm not convinced that fire form actually will give me MORE damge. In fact I'm begininng to believe that the only one that will add more damage is the physical form. Fire form just converts some damage to fire where infernal can amplify it...but it's always a percentage.
I think that if I use a phys form with Assail, I can use crit and Widd to bring about higher level general damage to all the damage she outputs.
Ideas guys?

I just decided to put down my gw cuz of all the work here at this forum ramping up for Sacred 2 and I decided to again connect with the sacred online hc community. I had dream about fiery buxxomed daemon with spikes and in the morning when I woke up I knew I had to meet her.
My Dalliances with her have now sapped the last two days of my life...man I forgot about Sacred's power.
I've met tons of nice new peeps on the servers...Gial, Epoxy.. and hope to meet more.
k, today I promise , no servers activity until I get some work done here then back to Hard Core...

hmmm, I"ve seen a lot of those movies and..dunno, I don't know if he was "bad" or not...it's just I don't think I connect with this kind of acting.
Dunno...something about him really makes me not be convinced by most roles he plays.
SPOILER HERE...
His death scene at the end of Blood Diamond fascinated me. I've never seen his face have that kind of a look before. He's doing something he's never done before and I was wondering how he was able to do it. I think someone or something in his life "coached" a new way of him expressing things.
And for the first time ever with him...I bought it.

actually , yeah..I'll go as far as saying that it's as good as you said it is Surf. Wow, where'd they get all the money to shoot this film too?
And yer right...good comment about DiCaprio...for me...this is the first film that he's done that I've ever bought into.

woah, this is a very long movie...two hours? lol, it's been a while since I've sat down for something that long. And the first fifteen minutes kept me in my place, with jaw open, eyes open in shock and completely enthralled. Guess you could say I liked the movie? Ultra violent, ruthless and gory. This movie is a recounted history and it's a real whallop if you never knew about any of this kind of stuff before. The Conflict Diamonds story is something that came out of left field and bit me for the whole two hours as I watched this movie. It has scenes that remind me of those from God of War with Nicholas Nolte. Another eye opener if , like me, none of this stuff is known. This movie is expensive, glossy, polished and was tremendously interesting for me.
This gets a gogo reccomendation from me

My take on this is that there are currently two ways of doing online games.
One is the sacred way...one huge instance 24/7, also the WOW way...expensive this to do it right.
Number two is having just towns in the game being communal instances, with the capacity to spawn instance for SMALLER groups of people...like in GW.
This method is cheaper and easier to run.
Obviously the second take on an online community brings down costs a lot and allows GW to to remain online as long as they keep producing new chatpers to their franchise.
For the longest time I was wondering as to how Sacred could offer such lush grahics, amazing options and STILL attempt an emulation of the universal instancing that was found in Sacred.
I'm thinkin that from what I read in that article they have be able to put a twist on the instancing idea and give us what we need at the price we want to pay.

What a great story, hk. And keep goin. Nothing you wrote about says anything other than you were nervous. And, good that you were! Committing to anything to wholeheartedly for the first time means you're taking it seriously. And have put worth on the line. Yeah it really sucks if things don't go out the way you kind of thought they would...but oh boy...you just know it's gonna be all worth it the day it does! The cool thing about all of this is that you've already come ahead just by stepping into the ring. And I bet you've learned a heck of a lot more than you did in those few minutes than probably a ton of times at the gym before. So go back to the sparring, keep hitting and really important...notch up the learning cap and REALLY look at what you have to learn the before you go back in again.

Maybe make a scheduelle twenty four hours before a fight with excel regarding how, when you'll eat before hand and even block digestion times based on your own body.
Yeah I know it sounds all technical but, if you wanna get a really good look at what you need to do before a fight it'll come easy.

I'm sold. The convication, passion and amazing amount of detail you've put into this thread has convinced me to at least devote some time to Noir. I'm actually interested in what you had to say about you being a sucker for toons with moral burdens because I think that a lot of our interest in characters from movies, animations, literature have a lot to do with how others grapple with their problems and either conquer or perish.
The heroes journey is a much written account of suffering, trials and tribulations that help us connect with a la pathos with the life of the storied. It sounds like Noir has an interesting sort of symbiosis happening between two toons who we will journey with down this road of the mysterious time piece.

and in this case, the instances could be capable of handling from 16 to thirty two peeps at once!
And the really cool thing is...Gw's techs are getting old. They're gorgeous and do work...but a year from now, they'll be old.
With Sacred 2, apparently you'll have the ability to start off in an instance, then...if yer having a hard time with it, call someone over from another instance into YOUR instance!
No messy cuts, not pause button...
Next years instancing technology is lookin great!
So...am I reading this right?

Hey guys
I know a lot of us have been waiting to play HellGate fer a while now, but they have opted to do a very cool kind of testing for their game.
They are going to put it's game engine out on the net for free and turn it into a dif kind of world so that the online peeps can play it while the game company gets advanced testing for the upcoming Hell Gate.
This mini game is called Mythos and it's free!
