Got speed fan installed. In just 45 mins of playing sacred with a low level driad 1 of the cores was in the red in temperature reading. The other night when error message came up I was playing for about 4 hours with ice elf, killed scorpion and flying demon boss. I get very low FPS when I cast raging nimbus Area of Effect. So must have got a hell of a lot hotter. How do I take screen shot of speed fan readings?

Thanks for reply. *hug* No .exe or dill, everything that was on screen is repeated in post. There are hardly any other programs on here, I only switch to windows to play this game. Everything appart from internet explorer is up to date. Its a 2.4ghz duo core 2 with 2 gig ram, Ati Radoen HD 2600 pro. The computer did get worryingly hot though.

Update, Yay he is down Since starting this thread I realized what a mess my seraphim was in terms of skillpoints so started a more finely tuned high elf. At level 21 I took down Gar'Colossus last night with my ice elf. Seraphim is now retired at level 23

On XP donated from a friend who upgraded. The only time I use windows is to play sacred so not worth upgrading. I havnt had the problem since I turned off the restart with system error. Or at least not noticed it

Hehe, thanks Tried magic coup today. Its so good, almost kills champions in 1 go. Must better for single target than anything else I use and its unmoded too. Liked it so much I spent 100,000 on a chest armor with some good bonuses for MC as well as 2 other good bonuses. Bargaining and lots of cash is dangerous for the shopaholic.

Sounds fun, thanks guys My elf is level 20 now and so much better then my seraphim. I gone frost but will probably get delhpic focus next time I get skill available for shadow stem and grand envigoration mods. Stayed away from magic coup as I would like to stay away from mellee if possible(not the case now) but love the sound of terorist and thrower. I got a nice shuriken in chest with life leach / hit which I will try with magic coup. At mo I am relying on glacial thorns but my aim needs work as quite often I am firing shards in opposite diresction to mobs. btw, what do mean by "tempest"

thanks locolagarto Frost flare seems to a bit weak at mo and all frost spells have lot slower regen time. Nothing is modded or specialised yet. Incendary shower seems to most powerful but cant garuntee all mobs are going to packed so tight. level 8 noow and still havnt chosed an aspect to focus on. Fire seems quicker to kill but ice has the advantage of crowd control and survivability. Thought I look up bestiary on sacred wicky to see what things are more prone to. It seems quite an even split between fire and ice and looks like theres a need to be able to be good at both in different situations.

My ideal playstyle with an elf would be to run through lots of mobs, gather as many as I can then Area of Effect them all down together. Which are best spells/combo's that I could pull this off with?

Thanks for links. Doing aspect warrior with main combat arts soul hammer and dashing one. Points also spent in others for radient pillar and archangel wrath. Wish I took dual weald as I got lovely big 1 handed swords in bag. Fist character is always a balls up with skill points though. Lvling an elf mage too which I think will be a bit more focused.

That explains a lot. Yesterday I noticed a similar post in the official sacred forum. A lot of people seem to be having the same struggle. But others say they killed him within about 30 seconds with characters from level 9 to 16 which I though had to be total BS but they must be on xbox version then. lol Someone said it got nerfed in a later patch too.

Nice one. Thanks very much for that info, the restart button is now unchecked. Just got to wait for it happen again now to identify the problem. I can update all other software, just when I give the go ahead rather than when I need the computer.

Thanks for tips, think I got a weapon in my stash(horde good looking stuff) with life leaching on. About me being too low a level. Thought it was time to get that quest out of the way to get to next zone. I think I done all to be done in human zone appart from the odd scattered quest that I am not spending 30 mins just to get to 1. Cant find any mobs higher than 18 there so get pants experience and no challenge here.

Thanks, Both bow and sword doing ice damage now. Managed to get blue bar down half way before I died on 2 attempts. Tried kiting him but bow seemed pretty ineffective. Also giggled my kit around so boost relevant stats and tried energy ward instead of my usual battle stance but no time to refresh buff when it goes. Try again tomorrow with a less stressed head.
