A couple of questions and opinions sought on this subject.
Before Ice & Blood I never had completed either of these all the way through to the end of Niobium Difficulty. Now with this addon and the numerous excellent character guides focused on this I have been developing New Characters.
A/ Can you play the Light Campaign and then once finished it go play the Dark Campaign and vice-versa ? And if not is there any setting that could be modded to enable this ?
B/ Is it better to start a Single Player or Multiplayer LAN / Open Net Campaign Game ? Comments appreciated.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'm in the process of switching over the PC version as well (haven't had a lot of time to play, so I'm still in the initial learning curve). Is there an easier way to switch between Combat Arts? Like, the ones in your active slots. Is it always 1 -> Right-click -> 2 -> Right-click or is there an easier way to do this? (Perhaps something as amazing as just clicking 1 or 2 and automatically casting them?)
My other initial impression so far is that the PC version is significantly more difficult and that drops are much less frequent. I'm definitely agreeing with Loco's, "You need to play like its your first time through," advise: I've already taken a few deaths that I don't think I even had on the console by this point.
In options:gameplay there is a checkbox for quickcast. Make sure it is checked. This will eliminate having to rightclick to cast spells. All you do is hit the hotkey and the spell should cast.
Dah , finally figured out quick cast , my wrong thought process about it was that you activated it in the console then all you had to do was select the art and move over the creature with the cursor and it would activate ... this now sorted for me .... ok you all stop laughing at how dumb I am

I'm running XP so could be a bit different for Vista, however I hope this mite help you.
Assuming you have unzipped the four parts for the SP & MP versions somewhere safe, ie seperate area to where you have sacred installed.
Run / Install the Mod-Enabler, ignore statements about already installed update etc. You will have a window / requester come up asking where to install it. Install it to the root directory of Sacred ... normally c:/Program Files/Deep Silver/Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel/ .. this is the case for XP.
Once installed there run it once only, This will create a folder in the main root directory called MODS, plus it will do some other things as well.
Copy the Unzipped Folders into the MODS directory, they should be only one folder deep ie in the sp mod version there should be inside the MODS folder the SP Folder, In this folder there should be a LOCALE, PAK, SCRIPTS folder and a word document.
If you do not speak or understand spoken German, then delete the Locale folder.
Run the Mod-Enabler, select the sp or mp folder, install / enable it, exit and run sacred.
Hope this helps in same way.

Check this out "Tunngle" more seem to be here plus , it's better in my opinion than hamachi. I have moved away from Hamachi and myself and good friend have been successfully playing games for a little while now.

Spectral Hand, in which ever way I'm doing it, it just dosn't seem to auto-cast activate for me. I have quick cast activated in controls, put it into spell slot as spell, tried it in a combo by itself ... no go for me. Any ideas and what other characters and combat arts / spells could do this.
I am running the CM-Mod when I tried this out but figured that wouldn't be the prob ? have 2 check that later on.

"I do only fruit wine myself" Chattius is that Schnapps ? I was working with an Austrian exchange student many years ago and we collected pears under his guideance (later found alot of fruits can work). He fermented this for a period of time and strained out the solids, then starting boiling it off. I do remember that he was watching the surface of the pot and said ether or methanol was boiling off first and needed to watch for the change to when just alcohol was left.
Tasted great, and yes we got very intoxicated on it

Most motherboard are nowadays multilayered and you can't use just a soldering iron to exchange parts. If a plastic piece is missing you can use
to rebuild it. You should be able to get a new male connector, replacing is easy because you just have to attach it on 2 cable.
Don't know how you call the pattex (or similiar) stuff in america. It are two materials which are formable like plasticine but hard as stone after a while. I do a lot of repairs with this stuff and rebuilding of damaged parts. But wear one way gloves and don't let it lay around if small kids are in the house.
We have a similar product here called plasti-steel , when cured you can drill it file it ... awesome stuff. I think it sounds worth repairing if you can do yourself or a friend that can.

My second daughter plays sacred with a boy at youth club who suffers from epileptic. We did an astral shadow warrior for him. The character was thought for teamplay but was quite robust if played single player too. It uses skeletons towers, minions, and auto targetting attacks.

Perhaps you can work out a character for yourself on this.
A Temple Guardian with fiery ember is probably possible too.

I am playing this Astral Shadow Warrior Build, it's level 78 for these reasons at times. I do play other characters and builds but need to rest earlier and for longer with them in comparison to this build.Ok, my question how do you implement this "auto targetting attacks", I ticked the quick cast in the options menu, seemed to do nothing that I noticed ?
Or is this doing something else That I haven't blindly noticed ?

Nice to hear given that you are just across the 'ditch' from myself, It's still available for purchase here off the self locally via the internet. given local time zones you never know we might hookup or run into each other in the lobby.

Why ? Well I'm here aren't I and anyone else who is here will most likely get it at some stage . For Myself, given that I started out playing Dungeons & Dragons with Dice on a table with a person looking at you from behind a screen making funny sounds and noises pretty well sums it up ! for myself.
So as an 'oldie Nerd' whom started with Diablo before play station days and sacred later on, a BIG yes to any new releases of these two games.
And sooner the better, heck I'm running out of years to be a gamer and I mite only be able to do this

Fantastic, I'm currently using the Compatibility-Mod patch and was following the development of the ciSacred-Mod. This is difficult being non-German speaking and I was using translation services to read it. I was wanting to try the ciSacred-Mod and was concerned about compatibility between the two, this is now solved.
Please express my / our thanks for this to the relative people and I'm sure a lot of English speaking only players here would appreciate this info being maintained here.

Before enabling the mod in sacred with the Mod-Enabler delete the "Locale" folder from within the mod sp and mp, within contains German language changes ... wont affect the play or your sounds doing this.
Tip; Encase "thick" like myself the download is broken into 4 Rar parts, once downloaded select them All to un-compress if using 7zip, don't try and unzip them individually.
Question / Request; Any chance of getting or asking for the compatibility thing with MP as well as a few of use are now playing Open Net and in LAN environments.

The second part (bat) file doesn't seem to rewrite or copy the newly saved chest file .. I've quadruple checked my typing in it.
I created several saved name files and the first bat file works in changing them to the current useable chest, I put some things in it, save and exit, drag the file to the second bat file.
I can either get it to delete yje new file and it's renamed to the original and changes lost ?

Been using for several hours with no problems , very nice in fact the game seems smoother, this maybe just psychological

Is there an upate on where this is at I really can only unfortunately speak English .. oh how I wish now I had taken some language options at school !
the Community patch is now at version 0064 and so far it's really good - I haven't come across any language issues yet as I believe it doesn't effect localisation (I play in english) and it's really nice to visit places you've visited many times before and suddenly come across new quests.
It's comes as did the Xmas patch with exe to apply the patch and one to remove it - this works well so you can actually play sp with the patch , remove it and then go online closed.
Weirdly I've also noticed one other thing with my own game is it's appears to be more stable for me (I'm on win 7 x64 , using Elite grapghics and physX - so worse case scenario) with the patch applied
Good feed back, have just downloaded it and going to try it after a backup is done and will report on how it goes for myself.

I have been having a break from Oblivion, Morrowind, and even Sacred Plus. To fill in I have been looking at a few freebie games, largely German or far-Eastern. "Pretty" games.
I have also been looking around in their forums! The majority seem to be for the lower end of the teenage market, though the avatars are fully grown! The forums are appalling! The language is foul; they are mainly bitching at each other, at the game, at the GMs - at everything. Even in the more mature games there is the same irritable atmosphere.
It's like a haven of peace here.
What experience have people had of other forums? Or is this a forbidden subject? If so I rely on some kindly person in authority to erase it
Concur with your comments made about many other game forum sites and this is a paradise in comparison, well designed, moderated and maintained with a lot of civility.

Would just like to say a big Thank You to czevak for the hard work you've been putting into the CM Patch. Very awesome indeed. And a huge thank you for posting here for us to be a part of the evolution of the Fan Patch. For responding and being so open and cool about the bugs, mods, and everything else.

Yes thank-you this is very interesting and will be following this thread with keen interest. I've just recently came back to playing sacred after a rest. Didn't know about the parent company, Ice & Blood etc so naturally very pleased to see the community still growing.

Cats and dogs:
If one of them is always licking the same place on a people's skin and the skin has a mole/skin marking there-- it's not a stupid idea to visit a doctor and have it checked. My niece (the one who makes this insect cheese) says that there are tries to train animals to smell/taste skin cancer.
They are currently training and assessing dogs for that role already with apparently results that can't be matched with technology yet.

Totally believable and I have seen an instance of this sort of thing in my own personal life. I have heard of similar stories also surrounding cats and dogs, so I guess that makes me a believer in this.

I have been doing a bit of trawling through Sacred Wiki and ran across the 'Save Christmas Quest'. I realised, so that is what that kobald at Thylisium docks is for, great Christmas Island here we come.
Oh no! no longer available as of patch 2.40! &*%$£! That is what I am patched to, 2.40.
Is there any way to revert to a previous patch without a reinstall, or am I never going to meet the Santa Ogre?
For the addon Ice & Blood there is our cm-patch available. Otherwise you have to un- and re-install to reach the correct version.
What is the cm-patch and where can you get it from ?
