  1. What is the cut off level for set items. I'm working on a build right now, and I'm trying to optimize my point distribution. I want to get my character's armor lore level up high enough just so she can wear the highest level set items. On the wiki, I didn't see a set that had a higher level than 225. If that's the limit, then I don't see a reason to take my armor lore past 50. Which brings me to the question, does it cut off a 240, or does it cut off at a lower/higher level? EDIT: Is there an upper limit to weapon levels as well? This is for the console, Xbox 360.
  2. I used to think they were impossible to find, but they're not. I've only found one via random drop, a Loki's Slicer at level 84 when I was farming Nameless Guardians on Gold. I was like OMGLOLHoly Hannah!BBQSAUCE when I found it. Some friends have found one or two in their thousands of hours of playing.
  3. I am surprised at the general lack of responses. Not too upset about it though, not my loss though I guess. I will be selling off all of the stuff I listed next time I hop onto Sacred, so it could be any time tomorrow or this week.
  4. Cool cool, send me a FR. I tried sending you one, but it would never go through. SPQR Semaj
  5. I didn't used to be like that. It came out of necessity. Used to, I would just throw everything in it... and then I only threw stuff I thought was "good" in it... and then I just threw 3 star weapons in it and kept all the rings/ammys... etc. I almost exclusively play High Elf now, so I don't know how well it would work if you added a bunch of other character's set items. All I know is that I've spent more time trying to clear up space and organize my chest than I have playing the entire campaign of other games! <--- This smiley cracks me up every time.
  6. Real simple. Weapons - 3 and 4 stars only, unless under level 10. Keep the highest and lowest level version of the weapon, or two if it can be DW'd. The exception if for a few weapons that I use often, in which case I keep every one I find unless I find 3+ at the same level. I never get rid of 4 stars outside of the Boneslicer. Shields - One of each type at highest and lowest level except for Glacial Defender and Stalworth Safeguard, where I keep one of every level I find. Armor - Set items/3 stars only. I keep one of each level for every set. Rings/Ammys - I keep all 3/4 stars, and I keep any 2 star that has a great single effect or a really useful dual effect. I also keep Chance to Find Value % boosting rings, but only of the two best quality. I also keep a few Experience Per Kill rings/ammys as well. Relics - I wear the two best fire, arcane, and antidote relics that boost EP. I keep the third best of each in the chest if I want to specialize. I keep 3 of the best bargaining frost relics I can get if I want to shop. Misc - I keep one run from each combat art for seraphim and high elves, and the rest are converted to Grand Invigoration runes at a 2:1 ratio. I keep 6 of the best Magic Pearls, Ice Crystals, and Chunks of Lava I come across. Everything else is junked. Potions - Empty unless I am transfering potions to a starter character.
  7. Can't help you there. I have numerous pole arms, but no 2H hafted weapons since I only use Seraphim and High Elves.
  8. I got this game for 30$ US a while back, and I think this game might have better replay value than any RPG I have ever played. I have long since got my money's worth from this game many times over. The cooperative mode is what puts this game over the top though. How many RPGs of this size have you ever played that allowed for a full cooperative experience like this game? I don't know about the PC, but nothing like that exists on the Xbox.
  9. I was reading the charts on the website for weapon/armor skills. I wasn't sure how it was listing the Item Level Without Penalty progression, so I'll ask here. From what I understand, you only need to have a skill level(say sword weapons) up to level 100 and your character to be level 200 in order for you to use level 250 items in that skill. Is this correct? I always assumed you had to be level 200 with a 200 skill level in order to use level 250 items, but if the ILWP level increase is always half of the amount of points in that skill, you would only need to take it to level 100 in order to have a ILWP of +50 your level.
  10. I should have noted in my original post that I only plan on taking the skill up to level 75 either way I go. Would that change anything?
  11. So I am working on an Arrant Pyromancer High Elf build. I currently have her up to 60 with the following skills. Magic Staffs AP Lore AP Focus Concentration Ancient Magic Armor Lore Bargaining Enhanced Perception Delphic Arcania Focus ------ I mainly use Ancest Fireball, Blazing Temp, and Incend Shower with Incand Skin and Grand Invig activated. However, I like to use Glacial Thorns on larger monsters, flying creatures, and on fire based enemies(Seraphim Island much?). I want to increase the damage output of Glacial Thorns, but I am not sure how to do it. I want to keep the regeneration time pretty low(low enough to be able to rapid fire it, or come close to it). So I have two options. Mystic Stormite Lore - Increases the damage and chance for criticals if I remember correctly. Mystic Stormite Focus - Lowers the regeneration time, and allows me to sink runes into it to improve the level, thus increasing the damage. So which will yield me the better result? Leveling Lore, or Focus with runes?
  12. I don't mean to "insult" the Boneslicer drops, but there is a very large list of other legendaries and not once have I ever read of anyone who plays on the consoles getting a legendary that wasn't a Boneslicer or a class question item. So please excuse the "real legendary" bit. Just wondering if anyone has ever had any of the other legendaries drop on the consoles. Between me and my other Sacred friends, we easily have over 3500 hours of combined play time and have yet to see anything with 4 stars that didn't come from a class quest or a Boneslicer. So we're starting to wonder if they really do drop.
