  1. Ok another Munera's silly question :)

    I know it is very common to modify this CA for more damage, critical hits and the famous rage mode. However, I'm very curious about the Knockback-Hurl synergy. I tried it long time ago, but there were lots of patches left and honestly I had very little knowledge about Sacred 2 mechanics and all that stuff.

    My SW is DW, so to begin with we only have 1/2 damage (same as only 1 weapon). Moreover, I'm planning to put it in a combo before Demonic Blow and FR. This is already good for crowd control, and I won't have neither enough time nor accuracy to land the rage's amassed damage (and maybe even the proper place), since my style is more like tactical-frenzied combat rather than a heavy and slow one.

    Perhaps if I modifiy it the other way round (knockback-stun-hurl) I will get a beautiful Area of Effect and a good synergy with Damage Lore, as well as a nice defensive tactic; or maybe I'm just so confused. I'm very interested in reading any opinions or feelings about this, or any other experiences or ideas you may have and want to share :cry:

  2. My SW Jackson's Revenge died in a car accident last Saturday. He was driving through the orcish motorway when some ogre bandits attacked the car. He was a bit asleep and numb. When the emergency ambulance came, it was too late.

    Anyway I've been thinking in a better hybrid build, so no sorrows after all :D

  3. I have some denderans gloves and arms of various levels. When I log back on I'll drop them in the clan mule, but if I forget you can PM me for them. Definitely some 150 gloves and arms Possibly 135 or 105 I don't remember.

    Are you sure about the Plate of the Tomb vs. the Diabolical Chestplate. 3 sockets huge armor and % valuables find:)

    Thx claudius. Well, perhaps I'll need that armor value and magic find. I have enough chance to reflect. Thx again mate.

  4. hehe thanks Eth, I won't get rid of my filetierers, that's for sure. I think Khandar's slicer is the best weapon for my build.

    Ok gogo, as you probably knew, I've always enjoyed doing 1 aspect builds, so I thought wearing the whole denderan would be the best choice. I had been hesitating some time ago, but I didn't give it second thoughts. The aesthetic factor balanced my doubt, my damage was pretty good and my lack of physical armor was mitigated by life leech.

    I was doing guardian runs with this mate and I got an armantins belt. He recommended me to use it, so the topic of my Denderan Devotion came up. I realized that I had very little armor value. The only reason I wore denderan was because of the bonus to combat arts. Some +CAs rings will do it. Furthermore, some pieces of the set have useless bonuses, and changing my gear will give me more sockets and stronger bonuses. I'm completely convinced now. Perhaps I even change to ice damage, but I'm not sure yet. Something like this happened to you as well gogo, am I right? :sick:

  5. Oh come on Munera! You again? :P

    I had a very nice time with a german guy in the servers. He definitely changed my opinion and I'm utterly changing my gear in order to hugely boost my build. I'm looking for this things, level 120+. I'd be grateful if you could give me a hand [again] : :sick:

    Uniques:

    Helmet --> Baelthow's Pride

    Filetierers and snaketongues always welcome (+133)

    Minisets:

    Shoulders --> Shoulders of Decay

    Armor --> Diabolical Chestplate

    Legs --> Legs of Justice

    Sets (already got them level 120):

    Armantin's belt

    Denderan's gloves, arms and boots

    Thanks in advance,

    Munera

  6. I'll try to get as many denderans as I can so u have more free space in your chests :(

    Chest is wide open for ya. Shoot me a PM when ready. I'll get the Denderans and Khandar's.

    I remain, :)

    EDIT: 135 set near completion. Only 1 item left, boots. When your ready for this set. I have located in [1] of my unique mules, level 13X & 135 Khandar's.

    Thank you very much mate. It's very kind of you. Unfortunately I'm a bit flooded with homework today... I'll get them as soon as I can. Thx again :)

  7. Or finding how attack value works versus a single enemy with a fixed defense value, .... hmmm

    Actually, we could increase our attack value and see how our chance to hit fluctuate, as the previous enemy's stats don't change. Anyway, I think you are right: the only way to make an accurate formula is using PvP

  8. The thing I can't see in any formula is the role of attack/defense. I'm very curious about it and it's certainly the most important part of the equations.

    Regarding sure hits (chance that opponents cannot evade attacks) I think it's added to the final chance to hit after all the calculations have been mate. It adds directly to your hit chance, and nothing seems to reduce the bonus it provides. For example, if you have +10% sure hit, it doesn't matter if your hit chance is 62%, 75% or 90%, it will add that 10% whatever happens.

  9. It would be great if you could give me a hand. I need denderan set pieces level 105 [and over], platinum if it's possible, but it's ok if they're gold (or niob :) ). I already have some pieces, only helmet, shoulders, gloves and boots left.

    I will appreciate some filetierers/Khandar's slicers as well, but it's not that urgent.

    Thanks in advance!

  10. I prefer to take physical damge. I don't know if I am right or not, but it's easier for me to find more and better physical damage boosters (jewels) than any other kind of damage, and you don't convert all yuor damage with the converters anyway, so it may lower your final amount of damage... Perhaps it will be impossible to fight in niob against some guys. What do you think?

  11. One of the benefits of Exploration is that for every 0.4% of the map revealed the possibility of finding better items increases by 0.1% therefore with 100% explored that is +40% chance of finding better quality equipment.

    100 % / 0.4 % * 0.1 % = 25 %

    OR

    0.1 / 0.4 = 0.25 so MF-Bonus is 25 % of map revealed :)

    He's doing this to see if we are paying attention or not :) Old tricks

    By the way, there's a way to explore the sea. If u have a jumping CA and a mount, you can go wherever you want. I may take a looooong time though, specially if that CA has a high regeneration time.

    Personally, I prefer to explore w/o visibility bonuses, just killing whatever you see, and unveil the hardest places with the special gear. The guide is very interesting and I have enjoyed it very much. lol I thought I was the only mad explorer around ^^

    As we say in Spanish, bien hecho! :)
