  1. Ok, back from the shop.

Hehe, thanx for all the comps guys! I was soooo happy when things started to come together in this sig, Whew! :phew:

I made some changes. Particularly your name. I really didn't like the placement or the effects of your name so as you'll see I made some adjustments. Should you want your name put back above the sig just ask, its a quick job and nothin to it.

Also I saved the sig this time in .png format which reduces the file size greatly and also allows for transparency. You can use the sig on any background now. Just keep in mind that if you resize it make sure to save in .png or .gif but not .jpg. As for as I know .jpg does not yet supprt transparency and I've been reading that .png gives better quality than .gif.

So there you have it Celebrimbor. Once again I hope you likes but if theres something you'd like changed feel free to ask.

  2. Here you go Celebrimbor. I finally got to finishing your sig. Man I learned a lot while making this. Great learning experience.

If theres something you would like altered don't hesitate to ask. Keep in mind I used the background of the post area in this forum as part of the sig so if you'd like to use it elsewhere just lemme know and I'll happily apply the background colour of other forums you plan to use the sig in. Otherwise it's gonna look kinda funny elsewhere.

Here you are then. Cheers. :D

  3. Wow, those ARE amazing Yarasa. Nice find! Such detail in those pieces. The one who made those has a heck of a lot of patience and a love for the subtler details.

Interesting how much thought went into these works. Like for example the 3rd piece, the snowman. The artist COULD have simply cut away a single strip of paper to use to form the body of the snowman but instead the artist used 3 strips of paper to simulate real life snow making.

I also see a number of stories being told in some pieces:

2nd piece Will the giant snowballs crash into the house at the bottom of the hill? Will the people get away? Run little people run! ;)

2nd last piece There were 2 footprints, now there is one... What happened to the smaller set of foot prints?

Last piece Is that a casket? Was there a funeral?

    They are all superb!

Where did you find those Yarasa? Linky linky!

  4. @ Hk: Heeeey, nice to finally see a pic of you up. ;) Stroke! Stroke!

@ Yarasa: Haha, supermodel right from the start eh. Practice that cat walk. :P

@Llama: *Looks at Llama avatar, looks at Llama pic, looks back at Llama avatar... * Heeeeey, wait a sec. You're not a Llama!

And "Whoa!" @ those 3D baby images. Almost a little TOO realistic for me, haha.

Hmmmmmm, I wonder if I can animate that...

  5. Well this was a bit of a toughie but here goes.

    All time faves!

    Movie: The Neverending Story!

I looooved this movie when it came out oh so long ago. It is now even more important to me than it was then. Its like one of those childhood defining movies. :)

    More movie clips! Yay!

    Book: The Chrysalids (quotes)

More influential to me than I think I could ever comprehend. This was a book that I was required to study in highschool along with Lord of the Flies and Animal Farm. The Chrysalids spoke of many concepts and was beautifully written. The major things I picked up on were tolerance and acceptance and I believe this book had a major influence on "who" I am today.

TV: Well this one was kinda tough because I haven't owned a tv in like 7 years and have maybe watched max 10 hours of tv in that time! :o I moved from small town to big city and in the big city there was just too much to do and see to have time to watch tv, so... I chose 2 tv shows.

TRANSFORMERS! I luuuurrrrrrve TRANSFORMERS. Optimus Prime was mah hero, haha! I had so many transformers and had ALL of them on display 24/7, changing their positions every week religously and often sacrificing one of my siblings to their laser guns! hehehe. :wow: Did I happen to mention I :wuv: TRANSFORMWERS?!?! :w00t:

Like, OMG! In doing a bit of reading on TRANSFORMERS! I've discovered Dreamworks and Hasbro are making a TRANSFORMERS movie to come out in 2007! Hahaha!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

    errrrr, eh heh...

Whew! Ok, that was from my past and this one is recent.

firefly,(Better known as the movie Serenity), is my second most fave tv show. I got the complete series for christmas. I knew nothing about this show but my sister who gave it to me was so confident in its quality. And it IS quality. Right from the get go you can see the bond between the characters. The actors in this show are superb. Its essentially a space cowboys kinda thing going on. A rogue ship and its crew putting food on the table anyway they can which often means illegal trade and shipping.

Thats it. Me and my faves. :D

  6. Little guy tried to scare you eh. Guess he didn't know you used to battle GIANT Tarantulas in Sacred! Haha. And you even touched the thing! I don't think I would have...

Oh it reminds me of a summer when I was about 8 years old. I lived right next to this amazing forest and in this forest we found a really cool lookin spider called a banana spider with a massive web.

    txspider28eh.jpg

Me, my sister and some friends decided to feed it so we caught some sort of bug and threw it into the web. Poor lil bug never had a chance. Watching the spider do his work intrigued us all, (Yes, we're a sick lot, haha.), so we decided this spider was going to be our reigning champion in a summer full of spider fights. Every so often we would find another kind of spider of spider and throw it into our champions web and our champion never failed us. Yay!

I'm pretty sure we named it but just can't remember...

Well in light of all this talk of cute furry creatures and in honour of gogo,(snickers:devil:), I've decided to add yet another smiley to our collection! :spider:

  7. Well, as was mentioned in a previous thread somewheres around here. Dark Matters grew out of a bunch of folks who met through the game Sacred. Sacred is a wonderful rpg that stands out among the rest. Cool character classes, great design, quick gameplay, amazing creative armor and weapon modifiers (We love the mods!), and a whole whack of mysteries that'll keep you busy for years. All these and many more reasons such as the awesome community it has are reasons why many of us here await Sacred 2.

So try out the demo if you haven't already tried it. And if your not an rpg fan... Well, try it anyway. ;) You might just like this one!

Cheers to erialc for finding this link. *Hugs!*

    Hope you enjoy!

  8. Oh cool! Welcome Shadow. Come on in. :D

Great stuff Shadow. Like Cthulhu, I'm super curious as to how that big space image was created. In particular the white blurry lines. Is that a brush or some sort of technique?
