Game keeps restarting (PC)

I'm having a problem with starting the game. Every time start the game I get a blue screen. I know how to fix it but in order to do so I need to excess the external graphic system settings but can't find the file. Never had a problem finding files with XP but I recently upgraded to Windows 7 which encrypt everything... (it sucks) thx, GermanDude
