I do recall saying that I'd be spending the rest of my weekend playing Sacred 2, since I just recently got it from a local store.
Having a job as a programmer and all does limit one to how often they can play games.
And now I find myself spending a couple hours playing Sacred 2 every night I get back home from work.
And since I have weekends off, inevitably, this means there's only one game I'll be playing this weekend...hell every weekend for the better part of a very loooong time.
I've only started out with the Seraphim recently, only got as far as level 11 in the short time given me before real life gets in the way .
With more quests to complete than I can manage to complete and a seemingly endless amount of unexplored land and dungeons to explore, not to mention the many combinations of combat arts and weaponry you can use to fight your battles, not just for the sake of fighting battles, but fighting them in such a way that has you looking for more ways to defeat enemies in style and tact. Or at least, that's how I play it, I always look for ways to enjoy playing any game I get my hands on. And thank goodness, Sacred 2 has something that I've been looking for in its genre...mounted combat. With a newly purchased mount, riding around and charging into the midst of gathered enemies will never get old. I like the leveling up as well, that allows for a lot of versatility in what sort of character you want to build up. I opted for the shield and sword wielding type, then branched out to ranged weaponry when I got my hands on one of them blaster shooting staff weapons I think the guardians mainly use.
So yeah, I'll be playing this one for yet a while, and thanks to the wonderful mods offered here, I can gladly say I'm not going to stop playing this game when there's so much flavor to add to it.
Rafs signing off...to get back to playing Sacred 2 of course
