I'm hooked on Crusader...this is new.. Schot updated the drivers on my old Video card and all of a sudden I could play games with animation again Is there a particular build you were using? I'm hooked on speed run build using the steed set. I can finally do Great rifts 95 - 100 with it.. speed is so much more fun for me than stodgy tanks...
going full Thor here
gogo
I'm sorry but I can't recall. I haven't played Crusader since the Necro DLC was released. Can you view the build of dead toons? All my Crusaders died in end game. I don't know if Necro survives better or if I finally learned enough humility.

Does it still work well on xbox 360?
I have no doubt it works as well as ever.
I played on ps3 before switching to PC so I could play the xpac. It's absolutely playable on console, and if not for the xpac I'd have played ps3 to the bitter end. Sacred 2, console and pc, lacks the fit and polish of a over hyped game from one of the big name studios. OTOH, Sacred 2 has panache and flair those studios seem incapable of delivering.

Easiest way to defeat the final guardians, lure them out of that room they're in as their T-energy shield wouldn't be restored.
Once you got them into the hallways, use a Assailing Somersault - Pelting Strikes combo at them to get within range and do as much damage as possible, then run away to make sure you won't be hit much.
As long as you make sure it remains in the hallways / corridor, you should be able to defeat them.

On rare occasions, the subsequent Guardians won't activate. In that case, reload and try again.

Looks like an enhanced D3. Not like that's a bad thing. I hold console D3 in high regard. If I get back into video games in a year or two and there's a console version, I'll definitely pick up a copy.

When I had my ps3, pushing right on L1 made my character move right. PC can't do that. On pc you get side steps and back pedalling.

You can do it with a Steam controller or any pc controller with a 3rd party app. I've tried it and found it unacceptable. There's no way to get left and right movement, which is something you expect from a controller. The best you can do is rotate the camera left and right.

I seem to recall that I had a tool years back that included a mouse-look feature, among a variety of other tools. The tool stopped working long ago but that it would tell me that it should be possible.

You can use 3rd party software to map your controller to keyboard functions, but it will never be like a real controller game. For example, rather than up/ down/ left/ right on the thumb stick, you get forward/ back pedal/ camera left/ camera right.

Wasn't it actually the skill that most benefited players? Or maybe it had a hack at the beginning of publication that gave it a greater yield?

Cooking is the gift that keeps on giving. You craft a sword and it's forever. Food buffs last like 30 minutes, so everyone always needs more.

I always liked cooking. It wasn't really much different from other crafts, but I liked it more for some reason.

Most of beta was me, Kiy, Wygram and Max. Knuckles did one beta but didn't care for GW2. I think Ryan did one as well.
-
Yesterday, I was farming skill points in the Char starter zone, and I remembered the jumping puzzle there that a group of us from FDM tried during beta. At the top was supposed to be a powerful mini boss and a big treasure chest. It went like most things did. Max facing certain death with glee and joie de vivre, and me repeatedly saying, "we are going to DIE!". And we died in beta. A lot. Not just in the jumping puzzle, but lots of ways, doing lots of things. We did not make it to the top.
I found the jumping puzzle and made it to the top (no YouTube required). I swapped the monster like a fly, opened the chest and thought "I would have expected more".
Hard to believe 7 years since GW2 beta. That also means Sacred 2 Closed Net has been feasting in Valhalla for 7 years...

You wouldn't, what you'd do is use any of the various botting/macro programs out there to essentially script the actions of the character in the 2nd game instance running. Most common would be a "follow" script and a script to spawn Q to to loot items and gold. Getting it to follow you using teleporters, etc would be more trouble than it's worth I believe because this is not like at all like WoW with exposed APIs for this purpose.
True, but a bot wouldn't help two people actually play together.

Two input machines running the same copy of the game? Wow, nice!
I think he means a separate copy of the game per PC. You can run two instances of Sacred 2 on one PC, but I don't know how you'd accomplish the user inputs (keyboard and mouse). There might be some 3rd party tool for that.

It is possible if you have two PCs running a copy of Sacred 2, each with their own HDMI/DisplayPort output to a tv and you play a LAN game (I do this with my wife on weekends). We have two network-capable 32" Samsung tvs we got just for the purpose of "couch gaming" in games that were not designed for split-screen co-op or have otherwise had everything but LAN matches get shut down for various reasons.
Be warned, we also had to use wireless keyboards and mice because I can't get Sacred 2 Gold to work with any of my Xbox controllers, even with remapping software.I tried a Steam controller, but the thumb stick was too weird. With a controller you expect to move up/down/left/right. With the Steam controller I got move up, pan camera left/ right, and walk backwards. That's just plain wrong.

Welcome aboard!
I'd say that couch coop on PC is impossible. I can't imagine how that would work, and I've never even heard the question asked before now. Sorry

I'd say what you're feeling is like survivor's guilt.
I'm glad you're ok, and I hope they get your wife taken care of asap.

Lujate, btw... are you playing any overwatch with your nephew? I'd heard that there is cross platform compabitlity with that game?
I had a nephew too who now... *le sigh* and he is loving overwatch

That's not one my nephews play. They love FPS games, so I can't say why. These days it's D3 on Xbox 1 when we get together.
Merry Christmas DarkMatters 2019!!
