  1. I was searching this for a lot of time with no results, but... it's very simple!

     

    You must go to the scripts folder in the main directory and open "soundprofile.txt" (make a copy first ;-)

     

    You can do a Search in the notepad for "music_fight"

     

    Then you will find the three events "music_fight_easy" medium and hard together for every heroe (and bossmonster), and only you need to do it's replace the event, for example, with a footstep event, in the resource line you want

    example:

    event527 = { event = "MUSIC_FIGHT_EASY", resource = 1234567 }

    event527 = { event = "FOOTSTEP_BARE_FOREST_L", resource = 74650 }

     

    Doing this, you disable the music for easy fight, and the game continues playing the region music.

    Now you can get battle music only in hard moments and bosses, or only for bosses, or only activate this for some heroes.

    I have to edit the first post. When the resource it's = 0, the music stops (like say Flix), but replacing the entire event line results in continuing music (see edited quote in this post).

  2. Still being worked on I see? how fairs the project? usable at all? sorry I had only just slightly returned to Sacred, playing PoE but I think I am about to switch back over lol.

     

    already been running a few other things like increased spawns, tiny icons, start island bosses, camera tweaks and etc. would those mess up with it?

    You can only use the textures of mi mod, and then I strongly recommend you use mi surface.txt. If you want change the armor models too, then tou need the model meshes and the usa/english txt files in my blog. But you can use your own spawn, balance, spell etc

    Some of you know I have a modular mod ( http://sacred2mod.blogspot.com.es/ ). I change a lot of textures, and if you got a spanish version, it changes a lot of heroes CAs. I want to translate this playable part to share it with everyone who speak english.

    My problem is that I don't have the english files and I can't request this in the forum. Anyway, my English isn't perfect, so it could be conbenient someone speaking the language can do the translation, helped with me.

  4. First of all I would like to thank you for what you have created!

    This weekend I plaid around with it and tried to put all your stuff together into one “folder” so to be able to make your modifications “Mod-Enabler” usable. Unfortunately, due to the amount of downloadable files and the therein included folders and sub-folders, I haven’t had much success with it.

     

    Because of that I would like to ask you if you could be so kind to give a more “in detail” instruction of “what has to go where”? It would be very much appreciated! ;)

     

    I also got a bit lost on what I actually have to download as I do use a German version of Sacred Ice and Blood with CM-Patch. I “excluded” everything whereat you already wrote that it is for Spanish or English/US Version. But is there something more I have to take care of?

     

    Sorry for the many questions, but I really do admire your work and would like to use it! :)

    I have updated the download section in the blog.

    Basically, the mod is a big texture and music replacer. The only thing you need to do: you must replace the surface.txt in the scripts/server folder, in your main sacred2 folder. Replace it with the one inthe first section in the blog, and the itemtype.txt in scripts/shared with the one in the same location.

    The rest is simple. Put the folders into your Sacred2/pak folder in this way:

    Sacred2->Pack

    creature: (chestcreature, ghost, humanoid, kohorte_skeleton)

    Data: (only if you got SPANISH version, if not, just erase)

    gui

    hq: (fx, gui, maps, particles)

    models

    mq: (maps, miniobj, patches)

    maps: (addon, arechitecture, heroes, npc, objects, shields, spells, weapons)

    music

    sound

    And if you want more challenge, you can download a good mod in this forum, under the download section (prefer this than select files in my scripts folder)

  5. I just deleted the spider texture files and that fixed it.

     

    I don't use the surface.txt. I liked the changes to the animals but I found it made many of the armors far too shiny and reflective.

    P.S. Also please don't take offense that I don't use some parts of your mod. I use most parts of it and I would never change back!

    Hehehe! don't worry! the best thing of the mod is that is customizable, you can delete everything you don't like :-)

    You can download "graphics, npcs, heroes" and the new V2 surface script, added in the Blog (and in this post)

    Radon Master: you can try with this surface.txt for this transparent spiders... I added some fur in it and a more natural eyes, but nothing more. Tell me if you fix it please ;-)

    Youre right on what you downloaded. Simply put it into your pak folder.

    Surface.txt changes for terrain and monsters are mínimal, then, better don't replace anythyng in the scripts.

    V2 change christmas kobolds with elfchristmas clothes, to a blue kobolds.

    Added this in the blog:
    Put the txt files in your scripts Sacred 2 folder (make a copy first)
    Put the rest o folders in this way:
    Sacred2->pak->
    creature(this are sounds, you can remove-it :-P)
    Data (changes in icons(delete if you are not spanish), bars, etc)
    gui (change the wold map, adding the secret path of the "ascaron mission")
    hq (some graphical changes about particles, heroes...)
    models (replacers for armors)
    mq->
    maps->(addon, architecture, heroes, npc, objects, shields, spells, weapons)
    miniobj (small things like flower, stones...)
    patches (textures for the terrain)


  8. I guess this mod doesn't work with Ice and Blood?

    Nothing happens, and the Imp becomes invisible.

    It worked with the demo original though...

    edit - I got parts of it to work, the character textures, by renaming the HQ folder in the mod to MQ.

    And I had to copy the folders from the Heroes.rar into pak\mq\maps\heroes

     

    HQ = Elite textures mode, so you won't see them if you don't have it selected in the options

    MQ = Standard

    LQ = low quality

     

    Imp is still invisible however

    Yes, the imp its transparent because I don't like it. The chest moving alone makes me smile :wow: T . There are some innecessary things as the satanic symbols etc, this things don't like me :nono: , and with my mod it's very difficult you can see something like this in the npcs or tables etc.

    The mod uses Ice&Blood and the last CM_Patch. If you want to see again the demon, the only thing you neede it's delete the carrier imp texture :-)

    (this comes from a private message from vampire)I'm looking this, but I can't see anything wrong... you can look at your own "graphics02.rar" in the "pak" folder of your sacred2. Open it and navigate to "mq\maps\npc\monsters" and see what is the correct name of the textures, in every monster you're looking for.

    If you want, you can decompress the original texture and submit me, this texture and the one of my mod, so I will be able to see what's the problem. You can post a screencapture too.

    Hummm I'm thinking... you want the change in a monster I didn't change. My purpose it's reduce the ridiculous colors, so, there are some monsters with no change, as the legion skeletons with his green-military color. Skeleton archers are changed to black (original blue) zombies have less pink color and darker clothes.

  10. Well, the game still has a very modern graphics, but for the viewing distance. I'm still enjoying the game, with the diferent new characters and with the various modifications. had to share it with someone! lol

    I added a link to the forum in case there comes a clueless before this site ;-)
