"Dear Mr. Miyagi, you would be proud of me. You said, 'Go find balance, balance is key, balance is everything, if balance good Karate good.' I have found my perfect balance; I have found my way."

"Hm, this book, 'How To Distinguish Between Mushrooms & Toadstools,' by the late Thadeus L. Oglethorpe indicates that particular type of mushroom 'most commonly emerges in, or directly adjacent to, cow dung,' or perhaps that's bull sh... oh toss it all regardless, I have never been fond of fungus anyway. Avast, for as well, I might indeed surmise as to why this gentleman is a 'late' doctor."
"Oh, the humanity... the copious quantity of skeletal remains originating from the sentient denizens of this realm staggers the mind. Surely this is most vast mass grave site in all of Ancaria."

"The evidence here of both flesh and bones provides proof that Kobolds consume people. With the proliferation of deer and hogs in the area, it would seem that their palates prefer the taste of such meat over that of dumb animals. Now I begin to understand why they pursue me with such a reckless abandon, forsaking their own personal safety."
Where's that quote from... dialogue triggered in area or a book?
good placement

The quote in question is one posed by my High Elf, More'findiel Velossfaeniel Ithilwen (or rather that of my own) thanks for the compliment, kind sir.
"Barred by earth, stone, and magical seal, and until recently protected by a formidable dragon, this portal must lead to some place most secret and wondful, perhaps some lost and enchanted land."

"Yet another idol of Ker; I wonder if the one missing from the temple of the gods in Thylysium was used as a model for it."

"You poor wretched soul."
This has got to be on a list of the worst ways to go or at least on one of the places that one would not want to be found dead.

Verily, good sir; my High Elf found this plundered statue of Ker in the camp of some "down and dirty brigands."

I cannot count the number of cumulative days that I have played and I am still finding some rare and unique items for the very first time. When my shared chest is full I save it, name the file, and store it in a safe place. Some may call it cheating, some may even call it hoarding, yet I refer to it as planning ahead.
"Yet another gruesome 'burning at the stake', doesn't the odor interfere negatively with the aroma of an evening joint roasting on a spit?"

"I can feel the intense heat from the lava penetrating through my armor. I'm no volcanologist, yet, even from my layperson's perspective I know that building a settlement directly adjacent to a volcano is at best an unsafe proposition."

I did find this scarecrow in the Bloodwood, although some regions seem devoid of any at all, such as the Wastelands and Dyr-Laigh.

Tarot cards do appear quite often throughout the game.
I did notice this
Is there actually a set that they used, any recognizable images?
gogo
The arrangement of the Tarot cards in this previously posted screenshot of mine is likely the standard arrangement, it is identical to the one in the screenshot posted on page four (post #71) of this thread by none other than SX255: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/21413-funnyinteresting-sacred-2-screenshots/page-4

Alas, with such a fog all over the lands of Ancaria, even from up here I cannot survey the area better. It would be a boon to my journey ahead to know if those cursed Demonic Eyes were close by.
