My nickname in the real world used to be Gilbert. My family called me Gilbert when I had done something ditzy. When I came home from the military all buff, they changed it to Gilberticus. As far as Torchlight, I would have liiked it except for the fact that it looked too cartoony for me. It's not a bad game, just not my style

Thanks, I have my moments. As far as the link between the fish and the smokey quartz, the link itself is simple, but every time I've had that conversation, someone has always steered the conversation to religion. Religion is a topic I stay as far away from as possible on forums. I've seen even the most peaceful religious discussions turn into angry debates, and I'll tell you what, I've seen enough anger and violence on the battlefield to last several lifetimes.

That gave my fiance a chuckle, because she says you have no idea about what you're in for when you say "keep going". Because of the fact that I understand how everything's relative, I could start a conversation talking about the new species of fish they found the other day that uses its fins like hands, and end up talking about why I'm sure that the footlong smoky quartz I found in a bucket of dirt is from Romania and is roughly two thousand years old. I love to talk as well as getting feedback. However, this post was supposed to be about SC, so I should keep my comments about SC.
I don't think SC is "any good". I totally understand that it's not supposed to be the whole shebang, but rather a tiny taste of what Sacred 3 is going to be like. The first Dragon Age did that, they had a little, free minigame on their website that was supposed to give players a little taste of the Dragon Age story. But Sacred Citadel didn't go that route, it was sold as a stand alone. Now, if SC would have been given free to people who prepurchased Sacred 3, I'd say SC is a novel little idea. But as a stand alone game you have to pay for, SC blows. Back in the 90's, my cousins created games in his spare time that were not only better than SC, but also free. And if SC is a taste of what Sacred 3 will be, there's a tear in my beer for what the Sacred series is transforming into

I read where Doom Guard armor for SW was being worked on, maybe 2 years ago. The picture looked awesome, but I don't see the mod for it anywhere. Did the mod wash out, or am I not searching for it properly?

True, I think I'm going to stop. I don't have anything new to add to the SC conversation. But I really hope a new expansion is created for Sacred 2. I don't like SC, and honestly don't think I will like Sacred 3

Thanks. What did you think about Grim Dawn?

No, it wasn't burnt, but I found the explanation about the coffee, ya learn something new every day. Do you like Los Angeles? I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, but never really ventured past Oceanside.

Scott, I have a question for you that noone has been able to answer, especially since none of my friends drink coffee. Now, keep in mind that I have a heightened sense of smell. Anyway, I've noticed that sometimes when I leave coffee sit for a few hours, it smells faintly of cat urine. I've looked all over the net, others also have made this claim, but noone knows why. So, since you like hours old coffee, do you have an explanation?

Thanks, my fiance is also stoked that I found this site so I have people other than her to talk to about Sacred. Poor woman already has to hear about gems all day from me (I'm a gemologist and gemologist appraiser). So, most of our day iinvolves shisha, tea, Sacred, and gemstones. Lol, she says our bedroom looks like King Tut's tomb

I tried the demo and liked it for about five minutes. My problem with it is the fact that it's not Sacred 2. I totally understand that it's not supposed to be like Sacred 2, my problem with Every game is that it's not Sacred 2. I've finally come to terms with the fact that I'm a certifiable Sacred 2 addict. Before Blood and Ice came to Steam, I preordered Grim Dawn. When the alpha was released a week or so ago, I was so excited, spent a day playing it, then it was back to Sacred 2. I read about an alpha called Kenshi, bought the early release, played that for a few days, then it was back to Sacred 2. It's not exactly like I'm new to Sacred 2, I bought it for 360 the day it came out. I have no clue why I'm so hooked, but I've realized buying games is a waste of money for me because nothing can ever replace Sacred 2 in my eyes. I have no real point in making this post, I've never really said anythinig on here yet, so, lol, Hello, my name's Ryan and I'm a Sacred 2 addict

Could someone help me out? I have absolutely no idea how to utliize mods. I'm not the most computer savvy person in the world. I'm a gemologist, not a techy A specific example is the mod "Builds by Slevin". I clicked on the download button (I'm using Win7), they showed up in my downloads box in a compressed file. Now what do I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated

May I also have the weapons unlock codes?
Hello
in DarkMatters: Introductions.

I've made other posts, but I thought it might be fun to introduce myself all in one post, rather than in little chunks through several different topics.
My name is Ryan, I chose Gilberticus because it's my nickname. My family used to call me Gilbert when I'd do something ditzy. After I came home from the military, they changed it to Gilberticus because I'm obviously far more muscular than before the military. I'm currently studying for my license as a gemologist appraiser. I started out as an English major, completed three years, then the newest Indiana Jones movie changed my whole life. On a side note, I have no clue why people bash that movie, it's my favorite of the four. Anyway, I thought it might be cool to own a crystal skull, bought one off the internet, and became hooked. I found that I was spending all my free time researching crystals. There's just something about holding them that I can't explain. I don't think that crystals hold actual power like the Universalists believe.I joined the military as a 22 year old farm boy. I was in no way ignorant or naive or stupid, but I was completely unprepared for the blood and carnage that I saw as an FMF Corpsman at war. War.....changes you, gives you a different perspective on the world. It's something you kinda got to experience for yourself. The best description I can give you is after you see blood shed, after you see how futile war is sometimes, the color kinda drains out of life. Anyway, for some reason, when I hold crystals, the world is fresh, new, mystical and magical. It makes me feel like I'm looking at the world with the eyes of a child again. My fiance had commented once that it was a shame that I wasn't studying gems as a major. She was being comical, but I researched, and found that there are people who study, analyse, and appraise gemstones: gemologist appraisers.
Now, I think I'll steal the idea of the "favorites" topic, but I prefer paragraph structure. My favorite movies are Species,Bill and Ted's Excellant Adventure, and the old Conan series (with Schwarzenegger, not the new ones). I had no favorite toy as a child: I preferred to be out in nature, swimming, climbing, and discovering. Animals have always fascinated me, and I am still an avid fan of the Discovery Channel. My favorite author is Terry Brooks, but I have no particular favorite book; I have all of them on my Kindle. Drinking no longer has any appeal to me, but I used to be able to throw back more than my fair share of Jager once upon a time. I love menthol cigarettes, peach tea, and watermelon flavored shisha. Not all sailors and marines have tattooes (I hate that stereotype), but I did indeed get six while in service. My favorite bands are Alice in Chains and Motley Crue, and if I had to choose a favorite song of theirs, it would have to be Man in the Box from Alice In Chains and Shout at the Devil by Crue. I see a lot of Star Wars and Star Trek comments, but I'm not a big fan of those. I am, however, a big Hangover fan, and am very excited about the new movie. I also heard that the rumors about the second Hot Tub Time Machine were indeed rumors, which makes me kinda sad cuz I loved it. I know there's gunna be a new Bill and Ted movie out sometime, but I'm slightly skeptical about that one. I think that's enough of an intro for now.
