I also saw the new Mortal Kombat, 11, I think it is. I was going to pass on that, until I saw how much you can customize armor and weapons. Mortal Kombat has some sick armor! I remember playing the very first one in the arcade; you had the option of guy in yellow costume or guy in blue. Now, ........ wow! That's why I love Skyrim and Fallout 4 so much; modders pump out so much sick armor. In F4, I have Tron Legacy armor, over 100 sets of armor from like every Halo game, a set from Cyberpunk 2077. What can I say, I'm a sucker for wicked armor

As a child, I wasn't allowed candy. So, I've gone nearly 40 years without experiencing Pop Rocks. We got a big bag of them in Myrtle Beach last week. So, I was sitting here ten minutes ago or so, thinking "everyone knows what Mentos does in diet Coke, I wonder what Pop Rocks will do in a small bottle of Pepsi?" I wasn't expecting a soda geyser, but I was hoping for something cool. But all it did, other than the normal popping you get in your mouth, was steal the carbonation right out of the Pepsi. How very underwhelming! However, I discovered a new flavor of Pepsi that I think should be marketed: watermelon. They just released lime, mixed berry, and mango for Pepsi, why not watermelon, too?

Patiently waiting for Doom Eternal:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/782330/
Let's see if I did this correctly, I haven't posted a link in quite a while. Gotta go to a conference, I'll fix when I get back if I messed it up.

Wish I could help, but the only thing I play these days is Katamari Damacy Reroll and Embark.

I've had Flammkuchen, but not in Germany, I had it in Alsace, France. I like pizza, but I don't think I can write up a glorification/condemnation for it. I don't think I have a favorite food period: I eat what locals are eating. Sometimes, that's a good thing, like, when I discovered cuy in Ecuador. Other times, though.... well, lets just say that I think chiguire must be an acquired taste.

1) Favorite Class? Inquisitor
- He's dark
- I love Area of Effect spells, and Clustering Maelstrom is my favorite.
- because of the quests involving his daughter, he's the only one that feels like he gas roots in Ancaria (to me)
- the white standard "Magic" set reminds me of a piece of lace onyx that I own, which is my favorite of all my minerals
2) Length of time played? Since early October of 2008
3) Favorite thing? It never gets old for me. In most games like this that I have, I eventually run out of options. Now, sometimes, that takes a year or two, but it happens. Eventually, I run out of weapon arts/weapon/armor combos; I've exhausted everything I can think of and it goes into my "completed" category. It took years, especially with our mod team cranking out new weapons and armor and whatnot, but I got there with Sacred 2. I have so much time in Ancaria that there should be "Gilberticus was here" carved into the outhouse walls. And that's normally when I close the book on games. Sacred 2 does go uninstalled on my computer, because I can't have too many games installed without suffering lag. But it never stays uninstalled; I'm like the stubborn stray that you made the mistake of feeding too many times, now it's skylarking on your porch. You might not see it for small chunks of times, but you can rest assured that it's eventually coming back.
4) Recommended class? High Elf shopper and Shadow Warrior blacksmith. If you get a proper shopping and smithing network going, any class can feel bad ass.
5) Blind Guardian fan? No. Not that there's anything wrong with that band, but it doesn't fit in with my life.
- Sometimes, I like to reflect on my life, with a glass of Scotch or 19 Crimes
- reflecting on my life in general : Skynyrd
- reflecting on my teen years: Alice in Chains, Sponge, Belinda Carlisle, Tool
- Sometimes, I have quality alone time with Mrs Gilberticus: Journey, U2, Simon and Garfunkel, Richard Marx, Pat Benatar
- Sometimes, I have a few beers with friends/fellow veterans: Motley Crue,
- Sometimes, I need to calm down (I deal with the public ALL day long): Pink Floyd
- Sometimes, I like to pull out my guitar and rock/thrash: Motley Crue, Deftones, Pantera, Sepultura, Coal Chamber, Meshuggah

Grim Dawn is single figure price range in your country? Hmm, it isn't here, I see Grim Dawn for $24.99, and then a package that includes all DLC for 48.96. But that $48.96 doesn't include the base game. Even if I weed out the fluff items like Crucible and the loyalist upgrade, Grim Dawn plus Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods would run me over $60. That, to me, isn't worth it, but I wasn't as impressed with Grim Dawn as others are. But that's just me. If I look at it objectively, $60 for a game plus two DLC isn't that bad of a price. However, I sometimes have crappy impulse control.

Sorry for late response. Gogo, a friend bought tickets and couldn't go. I can't go anyway, it'd be foolish to bring a four year old to a place like that. Aside from that, I'm kind of torn as far as whether or not I'd go.
-
Personally, I'd wait, especially if you're buying it from Steam. I don't know how many times I've bought expansions for games like this the second they hit the store, then about a half year or so later, I see a bundle deal that has the base game AND all expansions cheaper than what I bought the base game for.

This is a great game that I'm majorly enjoying. However, I'm about to type words that I never thought I'd be clacking on my keyboard: I need to take a break from quests and armor and RPGs. I'm in the mood to shred stuff up, I think I'm going to buy the DOOM game that came out a few years ago.

I was offered a free trip to tour Chernobyl. Besides a few video games and movies, I'm fairly ignorant as to how dangerous that place still is. I looked at a variety of tour sites. One blurb said "radiation levels in most areas are low enough that visitors can safely spend a day or two in the exclusion zone with less exposure to radiation than on a transatlantic flight". Ok. But dude, Chernobyl is a nuclear freaking disaster zone. "thousands of construction workers, support staff and engineers rotating in and out of the now-defunct plant to ensure its radioactive contents don’t seep further into the land and air." Cool, but that doesn't make me feel much safer."Be warned, wear long sleeves and long pants, and don’t touch or sit on anything (radioactivity collects on the ground). Note that visitors need to pass through a final radiation screening before leaving the exclusion zone. If your pants register high levels of radioactivity you can leave, but your pants can’t". And then some dingy journalist says blah blah blah, had to carry a geiger counter blah blah, could only stay at the abandoned hospital for a tiny time because the winds picked up blah blah" but under the next paragraph, it shows a picture of her holding what's supposedly a stray dog that she found haphazardly milling around. Naw, man, that's conflicting info. Too much conflicting info. "It's safe enough that 40,000 each year visit"....... nope, you can live out your Fallout: New Vegas and Commonwealth fantasies, my butt's staying on the beach this summer, watching a few dolphin shows, and going to a few gem stores, where I don't have to worry about whether or not my pants will be too radioactive to come home with me.

Two words, man "The Dirt", been waiting quite a long time for this.

Awesome, thank you for this If I'm not mistaken, I see Ciri's portrait in there, too

The first time, I rolled a human mercenary. I'm not sure of the specifics, because I didn't pay attention. I'm not used to games where point allocation really matters much. I steamrolled through on sheer blind luck until the drake on the fifth level of Od Nua totally handed me my butt. This time, I rolled a Coastal Aumaua Paladin merchant. Now that I know better, I'm going to pay closer attention. The last time, I sold every single piece of loot I found so I could upgrade my stronghold. Long story short, I was a complete and total dingus the first time around. Now that I'm actually paying attention, I love the game even more. Next time around, I think I'm going with the Godlike race, for the sheer fact that horned races are always fun for me to play.
I do have both parts of White March. The steward of Caed Nua never notified me, though, probably because she knew I was playing like a moron. I think she'll forgive me, though; I'd imagine being the soul of a dying woman bound to a marble throne would require a decent amount of patience.

I see atleast two more times for me. I've already killed Raedric, I want to see what happens if I take out the other cousin in the next game, then I want to take out both of them after that.
-
The game's been out since 2015, so there's not really much I can say that's new to you. This isn't really about the game itself; more that I've discovered that I love CRPGs, at least this one. I like to have two games that I play at once; one is a fast-paced game that I can leave on pause and interrupt without a fuss, the other one is slower, for when the shop is closed and wife is at work and kid is in bed. My fast-paced one's Fallout 4. Due to mods like Project Valkyrie, Sim Settlements, and Outcasts And Remnants, I'm going to be in Commonwealth for a long time. However, I need a slower-paced game. Until recently, that spot was taken up by an early access building game from an indie developer. I love indie developers, especially those who try to build their own engine. Not that there's anything wrong with Unity and Unreal, but I was told that developing your own engine is like trying to reinvent the wheel, and I tip my hat to that. But dude, I am so tired of having early access games for five years, when updates are quarterly at best and some of them are nothing more than "look, you can now change the color of your pickaxe handle! Mind-blowing!" Not that all of them are like that, but I seem to purchase the ones that are. I'm done having to wait a decade for products to finish. Again, not all of them are like that, but the ones I've bought are indeed like that.
So, I had a slot to fill. I was looking at the Steam store, and Pillars of Eternity was all over it. Looking at some of the forums, people were like "blah blah blah Pillars of Eternity blah blah". A few of my customers have even been like "Blah blah Pillars of Eternity blah blah!" And I thought "nah, man, I can't stand those party-based CRPGs. But I can't remember why I dislike them so much. I know I played something that I loathed like ten years ago..... Avadon or Averdadon or something like that, but that's kind of a poor excuse. So, I rolled the dice with Pillars of Eternity, and I'm totally enthralled. Not much else to say, just really happy that I bought Pillars of Eternity.

I haven't seen Fargo. I think you might like Supernatural, gogo. Granted, I don't know you very well, so correct me if I'm wrong. You seem (to me) to be the type of person who doesn't enjoy the "abandon all hope, because hope is nothing more than a candle in the wind that can be snuffed out at any given moment" types of shows. Supernatual is the story of two brothers , Sam and Dean (I personally like Dean). Stuff gets dark sometimes, and the brothers get slammed against the wall multiple times, but they never throw in the towel.
I love Ted Danson. But the cool thing for me about The Good Place is that even though it might "just be a comedy", it really made me think about some of my actions. There was a scene where Kristen Bell's character, Eleanor, was stopped by an environmentalist who asked her "Do you have a moment to talk about the environment?" Her reply was "Do you have a moment to eat my farts?" There's been times in my life where my actions haven't been very dissimilar to Eleanor's, I've done a lot of soul-searching as of late because of that little comedy.
The Magicians hasn't caused quite the same effect in me, but damn do I love that show! For me, Eliot and Margo kind of make the show, I'm not quite certain that the show would be anywhere near as enthralling for me without those two.
-
I'm patiently waiting on new seasons of The Good Place, The Magicians, and Supernatural. I used to like Walking Dead, but the whole thing with the baseball bat and the guy from Watchmen........ congratulations, Walking Dead, I've never used the phrase "unnecessarily gratuitous" before. Poor Abraham and Glenn.

The ones around here usually sell whatever kettle corn is. I didn't like it, it was like almost sweet and almost salty, but not quite either. Of course it might just be the brand they use, but I didn't like it. This ole boy likes a little zip to his popcorn.

Sorry, been a busy day. Now, amethyst having power, I genuinely don't know. My beard: I was going through my morning routine earlier this year, and thought "you know, I've shaved every day since I was like 14. Why not let it go for a few months? Just let it go wild for a tiny bit" So, this is what I look like when a razor hasn't touched my face since January. I'm not sure what "ayahauasca" is, internet said it's like a psychoactive drug from like Brazil.. I'm pretty ignorant on matters of that nature.
Lol, gogo, don't get me started on the subject of diamonds! They're pretty, but that's the industry's biggest con! Diamonds are as common as quartz, and it cracks me up when "rare" is used in the title for any diamond. There are so many diamonds on the market that if I came to visit you, I could pave every road I used with diamonds, even the water ways (bc I'm pretty sure there's an ocean or two between us ) Would you like to know of something that is indeed rare? Natural citrine, most of it is heat-treated amethyst.

I was out in the backyard carving amethyst runestones for a client when boy scouts came looking to sell popcorn. Every year , man. Unfortunately, this is my "tighten the wallet" time of year, so I had to decline. Again. I heard one kid tell the other one as they were walking away "see, I told you that the redneck crystal wizard guy never buys popcorn." LOL!!!!! Redneck crystal wizard guy, man no one's ever called me that before! Evidently, this is the face of a "redneck crystal wizard". And I thought it was going to be a bland day!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1013540/Evospace/
I sprang on this the moment it came out. Not bad, especially for the money I spent. I love to build; I'm the type that... well, while on the forum today, I saw an ad for a hotel named ME Cabo. I visited the site, and got excited, because I darn well bet I could build that in a game. Evospace isn't bad, but it's only been on Steam, in EA status, for a few days, so there's not a tremendous amount of content yet. As far as building games in general, I'm getting frustrated, because I have a crap-ton of them, and while all of them have a different aspect that I'm looking for, none of them have ALL that I'm looking for. So, I think I'm done until someone creates what I'm looking for. I don't know if there's too little demand for it, or technology isn't progressed to this point yet, but I have a feeling I'm going to be waiting for a long time.
I love Fallout 4; I love questing, foraging, and the fact that I can have settlers running around doing stuff. But I want to build log by log/brick by brick, like in Minecraft /Rising World/ Alchemist Awakening and have a few pools. I also want to terraform, which I know is a pain in the butt with NPC navmeshing and whatnot. I also want to grind to improve crafting ability, like in Wurm. Finally, I want to build vehicles from scratch, like in Empyrion. I know that I'm potentially asking for the sun here, but I'm hoping technology advances enough for it to happen, and demand for such a game to be high enough for a developer to consider it. I've been looking for that for 30 years; that's the end-all, be-all game for me.

I want to do one, if that's cool. Slow day, and Jenn worked third shift, so she's snoozing.
1) What color pants are you wearing? Charcoal grey suit, because the business is open
2) What are you listening to right now? Nothing. Business is slow. I have a playlist for the shop, but I hear it like ten hours a day. Sometimes, it's fun for me just to listen to silence.
3) What was the last thing you ate? I cooked breakfast for my son, but just wasn't in a "breakfast" mood, so I ate a cold teriyaki flavored spam sandwich
4) Do you wish on stars? No, I don't believe in wishes. If I made wishes, I'd wish upon a gemstone.
5) If you were a crayon, what color would you be? I don't want to be locked in to just one color, that's like only being able to wear the same clothes, and I love variety.
6) What is the weather right now? Weather's slightly chaotic. February (where I live) is the month where we experience all seasons packed into one little month. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it plays havoc with sinuses.
7) Favorite drink? At the moment, it's Bebida De Savila, which is an aloe drink.
8) Favorite sport? Hunting: deer, turkey, and minerals/artifacts (arrowheads, thumb-scrapers, that type stuff)
9) Hair color? Dirty Blonde, baby!
10) Do you wear contacts? Yes
11) Siblings? Younger brother
12) Favorite month? I don't think I have one
13) Favorite food? Don't have an "all-time favorite" food, I love variety
14) What was the last movie you saw at the theater? Escape Room, wasn't bad, liked it.
15) Favorite day of the year? Valentines Day, my rose quartz sales go through the roof.
16) How do you vent your anger? In an optimal day, I have time to remove myself from the situation, and imagine myself on a boat in the middle of the ocean, writing whatever bothers me down on a concrete tablet, dropping it overboard, and slowly watching it disappear. Sometimes, I use a punching bag. Some days, I barely have time to make it to my soundproof "anger room", where I scream myself hoarse. I grew up in a very angry environment, and I'll be damned if my wife hides in the bathroom with my son the way my mother and I did. My dad's a good man. But when my grandfather died, he turned into a beast, for years. I love my dad, but I'll be damned if I have a household like that.
17) What was your favorite toy as a child? Legos and an amethyst my father bought me.
18) Summer or winter? Either, as long as neither is too extreme
19) Hugs or kisses? Depends on who I'm hugging or kissing.
20) Chocolate or vanilla? Both, please.
21) When was the last time you cried? Tears of sadness? The day my daughter was delivered stillborn. Tears of joy? The day my son was born.
22) What is under your bed? I don't have space between my bed and the floor, because I don't have a bedframe right now. So, carpet is what's directly under my bed.
23) What did you do last night? Watched The Magicians (Damn, do I love Margo and Eliot), and put my son to bed.
24) What are you afraid of? What, and let my enemies know my phobias? Lol. Seriously, my biggest fear isn't fear itself, but those who sincerely mean they have no fear. This response comes from my time in service. Most of my men told me they had no fear. Some of it was male bravado, don't let the guys see that you're crapping yourself inside. No points lost in my eyes for that. Now, when some told me they felt no fear, what they meant was they were crapping themselves inside, but they've pushed past that, put that on hold, because we had a job to do. There's time later for fear. Those are the men I wanted watching my back. But then, there were a select few who said they had no fear and legitimately meant it. Those were the dudes who didn't feel much of anything, they'd gone numb. That little light in their eyes was gone, and had a mile-long stare. Those are the guys that scared me, and what scared me more was the fact that one day, I looked in a tiny mirror and saw that I myself was almost there, dangerously borderline.
25) Plain, buttered or salted popcorn? Not a popcorn fan.
26) Favorite car? Car's don't have any special appeal to me. I hate driving, so maybe my favorite would be an auto-driving one, like in a few of those scifi movies.
27) Favorite flower? ..... idk......I'm not a flowerologist. Maybe... hmm, anything that adds a splash of color.
28) Number of keys on your key ring? Three. In an emergency situation, I don't want to be fumbling for the right key.
29) How many years at your current job? I'm a gemologist. If I really think about it, I've been training for this job in one way or another since I was 7.
30) Favorite day of the week? Monday and Thursday. My son goes to school Monday through Thursday. So, when Monday comes, I'm eager to shuffle him off for a few hours. But by Thursday, I'm ready to have him home for the weekend.
31) How many states have you lived in? I was all over the world with the military, different bases and whatnot.
32) What is your favorite scent? I don't mean to be vulgar, but skin fresh from the shower. It smells fresh and clean, and my wife's soap..... hmm, it's kind of like a melon cucumber type of smell.
33) Happy or Sad about the direction your life is taking right now? That makes me chuckle, it sounds like a question one might expect to find on like a Scientology brochure. I'm very happy.
34) Any regrets? Yes. I've done some stupid, stupid crap in my day. But that stupid crap was also learning lessons. So, I have a few regrets, but I'm happy that I have them, because they've made me a better person.
35) Sunshine or a Rainy day? A mixture of the two
36) Are you in love? Yes.

So that's what E3 is, that makes more sense. Thank you

I'm not playing, but watching, something called Littlewood. The Nintendo-type graphics kind of are a turn off for me, but the concept is intriguing; the story's antagonist is already defeated, leaving you to rebuild a town. So, building without any mobs or conflict. I don't have anything quite like that; doesn't mean I'd necessarily like it, but it's interesting enough to me to merit watching.
