Sadly due to holidays and exams now I have no time to join in on the fun, but who knows, I might when I finally get more free time.

Hehe, thanks guys for the warm wishes and all. I had a great time for my birthday with friends coming over on friday and staying till yesterday around noon, as well as going out today for even more fun.

As unbelievable as it may seem, this game has once again resurfaced with promises of being released "soon".
Can this really be the return of the Duke? Or are we going to have to wait 10 more years to actually be able to play it lol.

Well I usually start missing old games quite often. but I have a really good solution to solving that problem, I install them and I play them.
For example now I'm playing Conquest of the new world, a really cool strategy game in which you have to colonize the new world (d'oh).
Before that I re-played Jagged Alliance 2 Wildfire and before that I played The Settlers II 10th Anniversary, which is the original Settlers II with enhanced 3D graphics.
Other than that there are games that I like to replay quite often, such as Panzer General (the first one), Civilization (again the first one, though I play more recent ones as well), Railroad Tycoon 2 etc.
Most of them are strategic games as you can see, but there is something else that I miss, good adventure games. Nowadays they just don't make good adventure games like Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, Sam & Max, the first two Broken Sword games, etc. It's really sad to see them fade away due to eye-catching action games that have no plot whatsoever.

Our expedition accomplished a unique experiment. They were able to harvest Dark Matter from a dieing star.You got Dark Matter units of 354.
On an isolated planetoid we found some easily accessible resources fields and harvested some successfully.You got Crystal units of 4.

We found the remains of an alien ship. We found a little container with some Dark Matter on a shelf in the cargo hold!
You got Dark Matter units of 163.
Oh joy...
Well, from now on I'm just going to send like 1 SC at a time and hope for dark matter. That's all. Reason? While it's not mentioned in the official news thread, one of the thing that can happen on expedition is the whole fleet exploding.

If you're using windows then easiest way would be:
-press Print Screen on the keyboard (usually shortened to something like "PrtScn")
-open paint (or your graphic editor of choice)
-paste
-crop out or censor anything you might not want to appear in the picture
-save, preferably as png
If you're using a different OS then no idea.

One space here. Two spaces sounds really odd. In fact I doubt it that I ever read any book/article/whatever having two spaces instead of one.
Think about it, do you leave two spaces when hand-writing? (if you do then I'll say this is even weirder.

Great work Podgie collecting all the data, must have taken quite some time.
However I was trying to get a formula of the growth in excel (which I failed) but found an error in the values:
47 8,697,400 48 8,697,400
After looking through the other values I'm almost certain that only lvls 48-50 have incorrect data caused by entering the same value twice at level 48.
It's the kind of mistake that can happen to anyone when dealing with lots of numbers. So could you please edit the values to the correct ones or post them here and someone else will do it for you.

Nice, though I want to be sure that you know that now all the pages in the mediawiki namespace can be edited, which might not always be a good idea, though I doubt that anyone on the team has any bad intentions.

Well, it's a nice feature and all since it improves navigation inside the wiki, however there's a problem. The page is in the mediawiki namespace, which means only admins can edit the page, which is kinda ineffective. =/

I really do! You know the type that are less than 20cm tall (which you can barely call a dog) yet are incredibly stupid and bark at everything no matter how many times that thing is bigger than them?
So, I was heading home today, and right before the entrance in my building there's an alley about 40-50m long and 1m wide. On one side there's the building and on the other side there's a fence with foliage (and snow atm) behind it. As I was walking I get about halfway through on this alley and suddenly there's this joke of a dog in front of me barking furiously. >_< As such I am faced with a dilema, if I continue walking the dog is going to be retarded enough to try and bite me, sure the chance of actually injuring me are low, but he might ruin my pants. A nice kick in the head would have clearly solved the issue (I was wearing some pretty solid boots), however the owner was at the beginnig of the alley yelling at the dog to stop and at me "don't worry he won't bite", right, like I was going to believe that.
So what to do? The dog refuses to move, the owner refuses to come and get his dog and aggressing the dog would clearly cause me some troubles from the owner. So the only choice I have is to walk back (facing the dog every couple of steps since he was retarded enough to try and attack me every time I faced a different direction) and go home another route around the foliage which is about 200m longer. As for the owner there was no apology for him, he was too busy to get his dog, which was now in the snow and refusing to come out. >_<
In short, I hate small dogs and their owners.
