  1. hehe.. I got a headache afterwards .. but that must be from the sudden change in weather, over here.. very stormy, warm days gone..

going to try out a few different builds on my WD now, finally found some more items and completed the class specific sets...

edit: headache almost gone.. lets hope it stays that way :)

  2. gogo, you forgot to add one zero ;) boom! that was fast^^

it was fun meeting you online today, hope I'll have some time this weekend..

double-bounty-reward event is coming this friday for the weekend too, good opportunity to collect a decent amount of crafting mats, in case you're missing some.. (I always do, usually^^ still have lots of legs to break down and make some room in the chest again)

  3. I think Dmol sinclws and Spunky also run HC frequently.. Dobster,Llama the rest and me, kinda like SC only..

not sure what HC is like these days in D3, just remember that there were tons of reports about lags etc when D3 started,

and under certain conditions some skills/items still do lag or cause rubber banding I'm sure.. at least I still notice that in SC now so I never bothered trying out HC..

  4. lol, oh my.. I'm utterly low, just started again.. also, I'm still utterly low on my normal non season chars too^^

actually most familar faces I've seen on EU servers play SC, a few do both, or even HC only..

personally, I still play SC only.. since Sacred HC is no more, I havent played any other game in HC mode so far..

my normal chars are somewhere at Paragon 350, and my season char is like P60 ...

  5. Hi, I know the new patch for diablo 3 Reaper of souls is out now for like 2 weeks or so, but to me everything still feels new..

if it does sound new for you too, I tried to collect a few interesting articles from the official site, which covers the most aspects of the game's new update..

to start with, the full patchnotes are over here:

    Patch 2.3 Now Live (patchnotes)

    most obvious changes:

    • new feature - Kanai's cube: create legendaries, extract legendary powers, change legs&sets, convert materials&gems
    • update to adventure mode: new crafting materials for the cube, a new bonus cache, new bonus chests for some bounties..
    • new zone/area in act 3 - Ruins of Sescheron
    • new in season 4 - season journey
    • reworked rift mode
    • new difficulties - Torment 7 to Torment 10
    • new & changed legendaries&sets
    • etc

for more details on the new&changed features, you can also take a look at the previews that have been posted before the patch went live, in case you missed them:

Patch 2.3 Preview: Ruins of Sescheron

    Patch 2.3 Preview: Kanai's Cube

    Patch 2.3 Preview: Adventure Mode

    First Look - Season 4

Patch 2.3 Preview: Items and Sets

also interesting, the Patch 2.3 Developer Q&A Transcript

  6. hmm yeah, I do, whenever I have the time for it..

with 2.3, it's so much more fun and exciting, again..

there's tons of stuff to explore, you can do quite a lot with the new Kanai's cube.. almost every aspect of the game has been changed at least a bit, some things a very different now, and others like the cube are completely new..

theres much more options for different builds now, adventure mode is more fun, season journey to explore, new/changed items&sets, etc etc.. :)

  7. Hi guys,

as you may know, not long ago, blizzard released patch 2.3 for D3 RoS which brought loads of new content and changes..

I noticed that it also brought back a handful of my fellow buddies over from Clan DA, which is so nice to finally meet in a game again after such a long time, altough its not sacred^^

I'm just wondering, if some of you people over here also picked up D3 again?

most of you must be playing the US servers then, or I haven't added you to the D3 friend list yet^^

oh, I just found the FDM D3 Friend list over here.. :

  8. Hi, well I'm not sure if its really a windows 10 related problem here, but on steam,

some people reported that they were able to run it on W10 again after trying some fixes/workarounds that also prevented the game from running properly on windows 8.1 :

    http://steamcommunity.com/app/12320/discussions/0/528398719804457418/

    http://steamcommunity.com/app/12320/discussions/0/558756255835833444/

so, if you've checked run as admin, run in XP compatibility mode, and If your game version is 2.28 which removed the CD check copy protection and it still won't run,

then you might try running Sacred 1 in windowed mode plus changing to 32bit gfx in the config file which should be in your sacred install location folder..

hope this helps, or maybe you find another solution..

  9. also still returning to diablo 3 ros, especially after each patch..

they've been constantly working on this game, and I like what they did with it..

some of the 'big' patches almost felt more like real 'expansions', great thing they were free (except RoS itself, ofc)

only the beginning was very frustrating for me from what I remember, I remember hitting max level and then I was kinda stuck and didn't want to play anymore, since the gap from 'normal' difficulty modes to 'torment' was just to big for me,

you could only pass it by either investing real money into the action house or investing hundreds/thousands of hours of 'work' ..

with the removal of the AH and the addition of adventure mode, rifts, paragon levels etc, it has become soo much more enjoyable again, very addictive, and it always feels like you can still make fast and constant progress (at least if you only play for a few hours per day/week ;) )

can't wait for the 2.3 patch when they will add loads of changed legendaries, some new sets and ofc Kanai's cube, to add more build diversity..

now I'm just waiting for a revamp/improvement for the story mode.. any chances this will every happen ? :)

  10. Hi, sorry for the late reply..

not sure if I could help you...

it's been such a long time , and I forgot so much about sacred 1 combat & skill mechanics and all the items, it's a shame ...

the only thing I do remember, however, is a thread from the official forum,

it's a discussion about highest damage possible, and how to achieve it..

the record back then was achieved by a gladiator which they talked about on the forum.. it was like 2.1 billion per hit (!) ;)

anyway, here's the link, maybe there's something useful in it:

    http://forum.sacred2.de/showthread.php?t=44747 (original german thread)

  11. hmm, now that I think about it,

I realize I have also been looking for some sort of space/sci-fi game that combines all of the three mentioned gameplay-elements, in one single game..

also am a big sci-fi fan in general, but never found any gamy that I can say I really enjoyed playing, except for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (yeah, the first one, non-mmo/offline RPG game)

.. the Mass Effect RPG series also looks interesting, havent played it through though.. (its more about characters, their relations and ground-battles, it has no space ship battles I believe)

that is, I guess, because in general, I prefer RPGs over RTS, MMO or FPS games ..

anyway, besides those titles already mentioned,

I can only recall Star Trek Online and Star Wars: The Old Republic, regarding 'mixed' gameplay (RPG on planet missions, and FPS-alike space battles.. not much if any RTS stuff like in the civ games, however, I believe? havent really played em so don't know) ..

also, there are 2 promising titles in the making that - from what I read - are, or at least were supposed to feature 'cross-genre' gameplay elements..

the first one is running under the working title for a game/engine called Infinity I believe, by I-Novae Studios ..

used to be called Infinity: The Quest of Earth, then Infinity: Battlescape .. or is it just a tech-demo.. I don't know.. anyway here's the link:

    https://inovaestudios.com/

.. it's been in the making like forever now, I can hardly find any infos on the actual status of their projects.. sounds pretty revolutionary though,

seamless link between 'space action' and 'on-ground/planet action' meaning no loading screen in between, the world/univerese would feel a lot more 'complete' that way..

the other game I can't remember. but it promised something like almost-infinite numbers of planets/world and that it would actually take 'ages' to visit them all.. anyone knowing a title that would fit the description? it hasn't been released yet either, that's all I can remember..

    greetings,

    bob

  12. aand the english version is up:

    http://www.unbended.zone/en/postcards/

    THE MINES OF SATHAGA

The largest wealth of Sedhannia is also a deadly curse for the western part of the continent. In the southern edges of the Tharian Heights lies Sathaga, what in the old language means “dawning rock.”

Already in the oldest legends the enourmous rocks are depicted as a prison used by a destructing power. The creation myth names Sathaga as well. Aureth himself supposedly used the power under the rock, the Crystals of the Beginning, to form the surface of Aetherra. The early leader of Sedhannia, mighty Freelords whose people once came from the south and took possession of the lands and its inhabitants, heard of those stories. At last, they began to dig. However much they tried, though, the rock of Sathaga withstood any attempt to extract its secret. The blood of thousands of slave workers who lost their lives for the endeavor soaked the ground.

During this time of oppression a resistance formed that turned against the Freelords and their gruesome methods. The rebels were led by a man called Ayhgon who declared he himself had found a way into the rock and would now be allied with the powers hidden there. This legendary Ayhgon should finally become the founder of the Order of the Crystal Mages. Under the guidance of Ayhgon and – so the chronicles tell – in alliance with powers that brought death and destruction to the oppressors, the Freelords and their armies could finally be destroyed. Since that time, the Order rules in Sedhannia with an iron fist and Ayhgon showed his followers how to open the rocks and to use its powerful secrets.

The power of the Order lies in the crystals that can only be found here, in the mines of Sathaga. It is said that every Crystal of the Beginning that comes from the mines had to be paid for with the lives of one hundred slaves. The deadly work in the mines is done by thralls of the Order. None who has to enter is will leave it alive. And should he still manage, he would have ceased to be human. Too strong is the influence of what was once confined in the rock; that is why the Mines of Sathaga are considered a place of great horrors and evil. It is better to stay clear of this place and its rulers.

  13. Hi,

as you may have noticed, german sacred forum moderator PowerPyxeL started a german unbended wiki - as you can read here : http://forum.unbended.zone/threads/unbended-wiki-on-da-line.202/

now, how about an english/international unbended wiki?

I'm sure there's a lot of talented guys over here who could help out with the english part of the unbended wiki, making it shine like your sacred wiki site..

so, is it a yay or nay?

    edit:

PowerPyx started a discussion regarding the english/international unbended wiki over here:

    http://forum.unbended.zone/threads/unbended-wiki.225/

.. so you can use that link to the international section/english thread instead the german one
