    This is total insanity - I have received an response - The same standard response I have received every time >_>

     

    I just do not know what else to do -

    In payment per automatic debit transfer system or credit card, it can occur, that based on missing cover of the credit card/account, defective data or rejection through the bank, that the debit can’t be carried out. At the same time with the account ban, we sent an e-mail with further information to this process.

    The further information on this process email was the demand for more money - Thats it - what a pathetic setup.

    Ughhhh - This is my 4th message to the GameForge Support -

     

    <Anestty> Please describe your problem precisely: I paid by credit card initially - the money was taken from account: Receipt was issued. Banned without explanation: Money back in Visa account 5 days later.: Received email telling to be unbanned send 15.22 Eur to account above: Sent money to bank as requested. I am still banned. Can get no assistance or communication from any support people - in IRC or through here. I have had no explanation at all for my ban. I am still banned. Please un ban me and explain to me why I was banned in the first place. Kind Regards

     

    Moments after that I managed to speak with an SGO - Who of course said he could not help me - but gave me the link to GF Support - arghhhhh -

     

    <SGO|tired> ok. tell ya what, try again and poke me tomorrow if no reply ill poke a coma :P

     

    If someone can tell me what that means I would be grateful - :S

     

    He did seem genuinely surprised I had contacted them 5 times with no response except a demand for money.

     

    I am so over it all - for the record it cost $57.88 AUD to send that money to Germany in the fastest possible way.

     

    The support here has been simply stunning - and a big thanks to you all :sick:

    The wave pic is just... Anestty, I don't even have a word for it...the vista, the scope... it's completely alien from anything we see here in Montreal. Lol, I feel like someone's just given me a birdseye view of another world.

     

    How luck you are that this is where you live.

    Yep - sure is Gogo - Wet seasom here - brings em out - and the Pigs get stuck in floods and stuff - Have to say though - I have never seen one casually crossing a road like that :lol:

    This one was taken by a guy from work - He was on the way to work and this literally stopped him in his tracks - easy to see why :agreed:

    Ughh - Thanks for the show of support all - here is the latest -

     

    I received a refund to the Visa account on Saturday - Have sent the extra money to some random account in Germany

    (that was not easy to do - and expensive to boot) and have heard not a thing since - 3 days now since my last email from them - I am utterly gutted and suffering from 'O Withdraws' and generally just like - Holy Hannah! is going on. What annoys me most is they admit it was an error - yet they cant simply take commander away and un-ban me?

     

    ( by the way - took over 2 weeks for them to refund an amount they say was never paid due to system error >_> )

     

    This is just crazy stuff -

    Kinda big news where I live. He is from my town, grew up here, went school here etc - I have a mate that schooled with him. We all liked him here because his despite his stardom and fame he remained very normal, came back here regularly and was always seen around town. Our own touch of Hollywood so to speak. Any way - I see they are bringing him home, his school is holding the memorial service. As he left 3 weeks ago he called our state newspaper, and left a very long thanks to the media, the locals and the state - for leaving him alone and in peace, allowing him to go to the beach, movies and Fremantle etc unfettered and in peace. It was a really nice thanks, and I am glad he is coming home to rest. In peace. :)

    Yeh well - I am not a happy puppy

     

    I paid for commander - I have the receipt - the money was taken from the Visa account. I was banned.

     

    For 3 days I try to find out what this means - no GO knows. I finally get to speak to a GA in irc.ogame.org - first thing he says 'you just got commander right?' me: 'yes' him: 'There are known issues and staff are unable to un ban them for some reason. Put in a ticket to GF - they should be able to help.' Grrr - I had 2 days earlier.

     

    I finally get a response from them, if you could call it that - saying the only way they can un ban me is if I send a further 16 Eur's to this account, and when the problem is resolved it 'may' be refunded etc.

     

    I give up - lol - I will do it because I am not letting rank 16 account ( >_> was then - who knows today ) be perma banned for what amounts to $25.00 Australian. But - as you may imagine - I am piiiiissssssssssed.

    This is a special delight for me - Most probably do not know that Elanor hacked Incendareous's account a last week and also Igs's hotmail account. ( She was banned for a while - you may have noticed - how she got unbanned is beyond me ) I had investigated her as a target, and well - Turtle is an understatement!

     

     

    So to see this is very special - You guys have to be the experts of the Uni's in this stuff - Remember Smeggle :P

    As much as I would like to join you good people - Every time I have attempted new Uni's - I just can't seem to get into it. I do like creating an account with a great base - (Thanks to Known2Kill for the tips :D ) but even when I have had a top 20 fleet in other Uni's (lol - well one other Uni :) ) I struggle to maintain the interest. I don't like ACS either - but Good Luck to ypu all! :D

    I am not one to preach - But this is way cool!!

     

    For those with a responsible attitude towards the environment and the world we live in, this is something we could all use to make a small difference on our part, but a HUGE difference overall.

     

     

     

    For those worried with energy consumption and all its downsides. When your screen is white, being it an empty word page, or the Google page, your computer consumes 74 watts, and when its black it consumes only 59 watts. Mark Ontkush wrote an article about the energy saving that would be achieved if Google had a black screen, taking in account the huge number of page views, according to his calculations, 750 mega watts/hour per year would be saved.

     

    In a response to this article Google created a black version of its search engine, called Blackle, with the exact same functions as the white version, but with a lower energy consumption, you can check it out at:
