  1. * Fire Damage -> Burn DoT (damage over time): duration 5 second, inflict 20% base elemental damage per 1sec. from weapons, weapon based Combat Arts and spell based Combat Arts. From Damage Lore Mastery apply + %chance, but NO + %duration and + %damage doesnt work properly.

    * Poison Damage -> Poison DoT, duration 3 second, inflict 20% base elemental damage per 1sec. from weapons, weapon based Combat Arts and spell based Combat Arts. From Damage Lore Mastery apply + %chance, but NO + %duration and + %damage doesnt work properly.

    Another very impressive guide Vaclaf, though I'm confused by the bolded sections, why do you say Damage Lore doesn't work?

    One point about the RpH mod for JT is that it increases with CA level, while the "built in" RpH is fixed:

    entry5 = {"et_energy_leech_once", 50, 0, 0, 9 },

    entry6 = {"et_chance_reflect_CC", 300, 10, 1, 41 },

    entry7 = {"et_life_leech", 50, 30, 2, 9 },

    entry8 = {"et_life_heal_rel", 50, 0, 3, 9 },

    entry9 = {"et_energy_leech_once", 20, 1, 4, 9 },

    Llama8 thanks for clarification about JT and attention of DL skill confusing, it is my mistake during creation of this wall of text.I fixed this part promptly. Thanks again.

    She is very tough with some extremly dangerous CAs.

    * roots you via spiders web

    * active some deadly reflection/life leeching aura (graphic effect like Combat Alert - you can see it in video) - this is extremly dangerous something:-)

    There is combat video - after some close experience with this lady I decided for pure cowardly tactics from distance. Whats happen when you face she to face is somewhere in the middle of video (1:40).

  4. Hello all good people of this community,

    there is vaclaf (my real name in czech is Václav, in english Wenceslaw), a veteran of Sacred games. It started five or six years ago, when I bought my first old PC and Sacred1. I immersed in this deeply game and started exploring game mechanics. With members of Legion of Damned clan (Slay007 and Archibald were Admins, I am moderator) we created a forum .. but dang, that was a Forum! Almost all good czech players was there and we created an amazing community, something like there, but smaller. Sacred game became my hearth-game. I wrote two Dark Elf builds, "Trapper´s Way" and "Neon´s Hunter", with two Dwarves I made "Trpaslix and Dwark - the cannon fireworks" guide and with daemon I made "DaemonBaja-MDK" guide. And much more! With my girlfriend we beat Region Boss Counter in Single Player (that was a truly marathon, we rotate in game - one played, other sleep:-), or Magic Find Guide, or three parted Underworld reviews (1, 2, 3 - hehe, there is a voting: Q: So, do you enjoy a lot for Underworld? A: Sure! or A: Much more than sure :-) etc.. Yeah, that was great time. Now, this forum is inactive, but still full of informations and atmosphere.

    Anyway, after releasing Sacred 2 there was missing that kind of community, so I moved aboard - on SIF and DM. And there I am and creating different LF TG´s builds. I would like to be more active and write much more and different guides, about game mechanics, but there is a language barrier for me .. it needs much more explicite phrases and better grammar. So thats a reason why I dont write that much I want.

    Among other things (like be a game player:-) I am qualified teacher of civics and history; Tea-man (its guy who likes, understand and make a tea for other people and have this as work:-) , passionate reader, walker, cook and listener of good music.

    I wish all of you great time!

  5. Hello all good players,

    a tsunami wave of Temple Guardins continue .. with Grumpy, we are bringing you a new "Kryten´s" TV :-)

    Well, today I prepare for you last taste of my (final) Mechanix build. Right now at level 116 and my work is slowly going to finish. Lets see, how is he working. I went through Blood Forest main quest and make for you four uniqe gameplay videos. I was trying to show you almost everything (but not all yet, of course:-) from this build potencial - different Bosses and CA´s gameplay, fight with Blood Forest common enemies (Construct, Eyes, Undeads) and of course - niob Abishai (very tough and dangerous Eye, indeed:-)

    Enjoy this videos in HD

  6. I was wondering at which levels a Lost Fusion TG really starts to take off.

    Ha, it depends - with power of niob support you should be able to kill Griffin at level 7 with JT. With full treasure chest you should be able create a powerful LF warrior at level 25 with all needed skills. And without this support, you have to play hard, step by step.

    About Bosses: Make and use Combo of JT+DS and spam it. It is three damage type simultaneously + JT modification tricks. It is enough againts every bosses except Abishai in the game.

    Good hunting:-)

  7. Hello Grumpy,

    yes, I think pick DL instead of Constitution is good choice, but there is one but:-) and its about planning your build - whats your goal for shopper/smither?

    Shopper needs max. points investment in Bargaining, Smither 1 or mastery (and Niob diff.). My point is - Damage Lore - to be really effectivness - needs to be mastered. And if I count : Devout, Tactics, Warden, Bargain, (Toughness/Smith), Damage Lore. It is fifth or sixth mastered skill, it means you will be able use power of this skill around -+ level 95 or 110. So, If you dont plan reach that high level, dont pick Damage Lore.

  8. Hi Grumpy,

    I have some tips for this build:

    * for T-Energy shield pick Derogate instead of Power - Derogate with Tactics inflict decent magic damage and weaks enemies in close combat radius. At higher level Power mod can be replaced by one amulet with +shield energy.

    * for Combat Alert pick Assault instead of Barricade - for Niob, you will need tenthousands of attack value. Reflect from Riposte substitute a lack of defense.

    Every 25lvl of Combat Alert give you 5seconds of duration.

    combatalert.jpg

    * for Deathly Spears pick Singe instead of Occult. Fire damage is better due to DoT possible (damage diverzification via Derogate/Singe).

    * think about Damage Lore skill - it works perfect with TG, but need to be mastered.

    Just my opinion. Good hunting:-)

  9. Hello all good players,

    I am working through new Mechanix build and it seem it works! There will be still much to do and test and tune, but I think this will be uniqe. So there it is: a first small tasting how much of possible strategies against every enemies, or Bosses I can use with LF build.

    Enjoy in HD :-)

    I add one more video with Gar´Colossus - pure Laser against Stone.

  10. Hello all good players,

    I will add my concept and experience to this topic - my main idea is about that "resources" we speak about (shopping, smithing, stashed loot, buff gear etc). I result from my Mechanix´s builds. There is one difference - both of them are created on Single Player, but that best fit to my example, because it is only about your own game without anyother help.

    Mechanix T-100 - I started this character from absolutely zero point - level by level, loot by loot, collecting gameplay experience, make money, shopping every 10-15 level, stashed all usable things for next character, smithing every one equipment, planning next skill/CAs/modification steps .. all this happens for one goal - make a build, precisely designed for niob playing using that crazy Lost Fusion tree. Then, I remembered how Ice and Blood nerfed +skills and Deathblow for CAs - wow, another challenge.

    With all of this "support, utility" things I created Mechanix X-E build, which is very well working build primary BASED on that resources. This is for me like reward, best satisfaction - look, it works!

    I think Ascaron known very well about these "resources" and its purpose is to reward players for long-time playing, creating replayability (fights againts boring of every new characters born) and helps with new, interesting builds. For me, these resources shows for all of us an amazing Sacred 2 gameplay mechanics complexity.

    Good looting:-)

    p.s. I know, it is only game:-)

  11. Question about Area of Effect regarding this build: How effective is this build at taking on groups of enemies? I'm not sure how effective deathly spears and furious emblazer are at taking on mobs. Any input on this would be appreciated. Thanks :)

    Hi ryanrocker1217,

    of course this build has not that large Area of Effect like Source Warden builds, but it is not even the point (create a large group, start hell, collect items). This is different gameplay experience, its about clicking, moving on battlefield, creating tactical positions, precise targeting and fast switching of CAs. Furious Emblazer covers a space between you with angel (by eyes) 90^ so you have to move (reason for 150 run speed) and creating tactial position - once you done it, start burning. For JT+DS, this is trully "short range melee devastating" combo - once again, you moves on battlefield, create a large group of enemies and in right time you saw into them like chainsaw. DS range is like "two circles of enemies around you" or "one spear hits twice to bigger enemy (pigs, orcs etc.).

  12. Hello Woody,

    Respect to level 200 TG utility character and thanks for sharing your build and tip with visibility range.

    I have a few small questions for you:-)

    * What about Expert Touch in this build? Or did you started this character before Addon? Right now I am working on new cross-aspect TG with Expert Touch/Combos and it seems to be very useful.

    * How much and in which kind of combat situations is unmodden Jolting Touch useful (for anyone TGs)?

    * Is it really possible to brings 100% CAs reflection via Reflection T-Shield or does this modifier has diminishing returns too? (like ie. regeneration time)

    * Is it possible to post pics of values of your smithy arts? How much points do you invest into Blacksmith?

    Thanks for you answers.

  13. Vaclaf, in your opinion, is Damage Lore still worth using in Fallen Angel and the console version? Or is the % chance of secondary effects too weak for the skill slot and point investment?

    Hi Shattered Rift, in my opinion, DL is NOT worth using in FA and console version, because much important than +%chance of secondary effects (which can be obtained from item modifiers) is + %damage for DoTs from skill mastery. Otherside, FA and console version has one great advantage for nonweapons CAs called DEATHBLOW - go for this item modifier and spare one or two skills and tons of skill points.

  14. Hi all good Sacred players,

    I am glad you likes and enjoys this build - for me, this is the best satisfaction of my TGs work result. Thanks!

    About PC and Consoles differences (and bugs) - I think it is a true stone of pain in my builds. Fact is I have only PC gameplay experience, no consoles and my builds are designed for PC gaming. There are some known bugs and I think there are some differences in controls (mouse targeting vs. gamepad), which affects LF TGs a lot. Count with me:

    * general differences in character control - it can be problem with targeting of Combat Arts. All of Combat Arts you use need to be precisely targets in battlefield - obviously when you are using FE, AD or AB. Is it flawlessly possible with gamepad?

    * major bugs - yes, non-working Blacksmith and JT Self-repair modification. These bugs are really shame and gameplay breaking.

    * minor bug with AD Momentum modification (never mind).

    * Differences (and some info-fog) in Damage Lore Skill between S:FA/Ice and Blood/Consoles versions - this is one of the skill, which deserves a lot of players attention and testing on all platforms (with Alchemy).

    * Expert Touch in Ice and Blood!

    * Deathblow works on consoles - hurray!

    * possibly builds changes for console: pick defensive skill (Toughness) instead of Blacksmith and/or Damage Lore.

    Modify CAlert Barricade/Riposte or Repair due to reflect from JT/Permanent, TShroud Power/Reduction/Reflection and JT Payback/Voltage/Shelter.

    My opinion is that my TGs builds (Mechanix T-100 a Mechanix T-X) in here described forms are only for PC players. There are some important gameplay differences (bugs) between PC and Consoles which makes LF builds less playable on consoles (I am thinking in Niob-relation). BUT, on the other side, this is challenge for all challengeliking players make and share with us some CONSOLES TG LF build.
