Hmm...I downloaded gogo's toon and I do not get some of his choices: - cascading shroud: why not mist - it offers greater % reduction? - crystal skin: why not mystic stormite expertise for the huge regeneration time reduction? - grand invigoration: life energy? and why not replenish for better regen? - shadow step: why explosion? small healing might be better...? - expulse magic: why banish dead? dmg seems to be small. pentagram looks to me more appealing defence-wise? really perplexing. I barely know this game which is why I ask but some of the choices...I really do not get them. I would appreciate it if u could please offer some explanation. cheers

This is what I am going to do - place one CA in one cocmbo slot - thx Btw, @Hooyaah - could u please write down what CAs u got and what mods? I don't have much time these days unfortunately so restatring a toon several times is not an option I'm afraind which is why I as so many questions

I completely missed the name box then Btw, @Hooyaah - I just saw the amazing vid...pretty awesome. So u have 1 CA in 1 combo slot? I dont like using combos I prefer CAs in osolation

And what would be the priorities for socketing? Depending on my subjective feeling what I seem to be lacking...armour or reduced regen time?

Raging Nimbus wil be useful troughout the whole game or just as a levelling tool in the beginning? Does it dmg stack? How short do u keep regen time on it? So, Wrath pays off better in the long run then Hurricane - it's better to get %ice dmg then increased hit rate? You're right about armour - now I've noticed this regen penalty- thanks Btw, we were going for a staff for lore purposes but now it turns out a 1hander + shield for all the sockets would be better.

Back home after xmax eve supper - playtime now We watched again Frozen hence this whole Ice elf question. I was having a heated discussion about HEs with my wife's bro who bascially said fire elf rulz end ice sux and my daughter after watching Elza got hellbent on an ice elf We have an ice elf now clvl 15 and she is cool-looking with crystal skin on. We got our first buf suit with crystal skin, skill +6, the base skill is at 1. We have: stormite lore 10, stormite focus 10, concentration 1 for the 2 buffs and armour 1. what shall we pick at clvl 15 and 18? Delphic arcania focus and Ancient magic seem a must. Thorns got frost and devastation. Still 2 points left to mod other CAs but we have no idea what to mod now. We use nimbus a lot. Is there any priority for ice HE to mod CAs? the mod points don't seem to be abundand Btw, ice elf looks cool but is she a dead loss? EDIT: what would be the quickes way to unlock modification points for CAs? if there is any... cheers

Hi For crystal skin what woul work better: Feel cold or Focalize? Back in the Diablo 2 and TQIT day reduced res worked wanders is it the case in Sacred 2?

I used to play DE long ago and took her pretty far. This SW is my 2nd toon, first beeing a new HE at clvl 20ish but SW tickled my fancy way better Now my SW is clvl ... 10 I will be building now two mini buff suits for him as the buffs I left at slvl 1 Btw, he is dwielding as this is the way I like best. I also downloaded from here an awesome collection of bargaining and smithing toons but I have yet to discover whats the deal with smithing Cheers !

I dont like using combos. I prefer using single combat arts but in quicker succession, like attacking with death blow every second when facing a tough mob or with fight away with scything when facing less tough several mobs. Every once in a while I would like to use Frenzied rampage as it really tickled my fancy. cheers

I really developed kind of liking for the SW...which is why I would like to ask a few questions: - if I want to use some CA from Death Warrior (demonic blow, scything sweep) and a few from Malevolent (e.g. FR) I shall play without Expert touch right? - or is it possible to go sigle aspect only for combat arts - death warrior exclusively and turn expert touch on? - how would u suggest modding Demonic blow, Scything sweep and frenzied rampage (I think I go double attack, double strike and ?0 - and how would u mod grim resiliance and reflective emanation? cheers

Hi guys....well...this whole HE has turned out not to be exactly what I was hoping for but the game itself is awesome and I can see a lot of potential I was fooling around with Shadow Warrior and Inquisitor. And I like Inquisitor's look way better I also fooled aroud with dual wielding. What toon would you recommend for a dual wielding character - inquisitor or SW? I am not hellbent on playing on Nobium - I will beat the game on silver and play on gold or platinum. Ive already googled it but didnt come up with definitive answers and u guys here are certainly best-informed EDIT: I remember reading something about going 2h weapon...too, so dual wield or 2h? I need something easier...less...strenuous on my intelligence Cheers

Going slowly but steadily clvl 12 and on silver. but I wouldnt be myself if I hadnt a few questions First...the font...is there something simple and safe I could do to make it...readable ? Second, my pyro elf is so...slow. I mean she runs slow casts slow spells are slow...its like all in slow motion. with stats equipment will it improve? Cheers

I will mod it lje this: scortch conflagration ambition. So fireball will be for single targets with hotpursuit and globe. But what 1st mod shall I take for AF - greek fire or explosion? Since I use BT for mobs maybe I should mod AF to be a single mob finisher hence with greek fire? Cherrs

Thanks guys I am running the latest ver of the community patch. What would be the best strategy to farm Tristan Companion? I really want this piece of jewellery... And just remembered it - for my Gran Invigoration - what shall I choose - arcania lore or arcania focus? Im leaning towards focus to allow this higher level ca without penalty...I ate 5 Gran Invigoration runes and got it to 4.1 level instead of 5 so I must be incurring this penalty atm. im really getting into this game...

Now I am wandering about stat point distribution: - some say all the way stamina to reduce regeneration time of CAs - some advise all-out intelligence I am leaning towards intelligence. Is there a general rule of a thumb for the stat points distribution? cheers

Thanks guys for the advice I will really get into this tomorrow, especially this Paramount Pendant thing tickled my fancy Btw, I am using solely fireball, blazing tempest and Meteor for offensive / dmg spells and from other disciplines I use only buffs, like grand invigoration + fire demon. I am not using combos. I am using the 3 spells in isolation. only 2 buff running at the same time, ie. demon and invigoration. And I chose expert touch. Was it a good decision? or shall I reroll and start a new toon with expert touch disabled? - And I got: 1. bargaining, 2. pyro lore 3. concentration, 4. I plan pyro focus and 5. - what shall I pick? cheers
