  1. Dear friends hope you all are doing fine. Well, as you all have noticed I have been inactive for quite a while. I apologize for that, but unfortunately my time spent on line has diminished a lot. Also, a few changes in life are going on for me. So my vacation from Sacred based drawings will last a bit longer than I thought. Anyway, I drop by for a visit as soon as I am able to. For now I which you all the best, sincerely, Rss.

  2. The drawing in the post 206 is a very interesting one. She has a strong, sexy look... yet her face gives me the impression that she misses someone or at least she is thinking about someone. I may be wrong on the comment I just made, but wrong or right I trully like the feeling this drawing passes on to me. :drinks:

  3. Well, guys I hope you are all doing fine.

I managed to get my storage space working, so here is one more drawing. I hope you all like. :drinks:

I don't know if you have noticed, but I am trying to improve my drawings as much as I can.

I am very much confident that soon I'll be able to bring very high quality drawings in a professional level.

That in both lineart as well as any variant in color drawing. I do know that I still have a long way to go,

However, I think I am on the right path. :drinks:

  4. Hi dear friends,

As you have noticed All the pictures (Drawings) I have posted within this thread are not being displayed. That is due to the fact that I went over the Public download storage limit where I keep my files. It is a free account, so I need to work in some solution to it.

Well, I am working on a way to solve this problem and I hope that everything will be back to normal soon.

    Regards,

  5. Hi dear friends.

Yes, one more year or should I say two. have passed and here am I. One more birthday... At the moment I am alone in a airport. trying to get back home... I mean, there are thousands of people around here, but no one is close to me. So, as here they have free internet for Airport users, I thought.... Why not to visit my old birthday thread. So, here I wish a happy birthday to me.

All the best for you all.

  6. heh, RSS, you made one of the girls at work swoon over your colored tiger image. It's completely outstanding. I'll figger out some more about a sig soon.

    :)

    Ok, I'll wait. ;)

Oh! Tell to the girl that I would help her if I were there... like give her some water, hold her hand, and fan her a bit. Tell her that I am very happy to learn that she liked it. :)

Thank you guys. I am glad to know that you like it. :)

  7. I am sorry this is not what I was meaning to say in my last post. I was saying your drawings would look good in a Sacred comic book. :) ..... and it would be cool if we could turn them into one somehow.

Comic book needs very good skills in sequential work. One needs to be able to tell a story just using drawings.Unfortunately, I am not good at that yet. However, that could be a good exercise. So, if you get me a script for the beginning of a story (your own story)... Just for the first page of the comic book. I could have a try. :) That would take time, though.

*cough* If you have time take a look here , I could use your talents,

the pic you have now is ok only a bit o' color changes and name changes (yes gogo I'm stealing it :) )

    cheers!

No problem, I'll see what I can do. ;)

  8. Dear Telari,

You are always super creative.

    Post 182

This drawing is really amazing and it looks so realistic. With no doubt this is one of my favorites.

    Post 185

I did not know whether to love or to fear. The transformation that is taking place on the girl really took me by surprise. To add up to it her soft and yet very noticeable expression tell us that she does not like it yet she has not chose but to under take it. I like this drawing very much.

    post 189

    very creative indeed.

    Post 195

The second sketch within that post is really cool. I like it a lot.

    Post 197

Cool idea! The hair falling from the mirror just too my attention completely and gave to the drawing a very strong feeling. I very much like when you make drawings like this one.

    Post 199

Personally, I do not like women with beards. Specially if we have to kiss them every day. :4rofl: But I cannot hold back from said that it is a very nice drawing too.

    Post 202

My guess is from the Lord of the rings. Did I get it right? :)

    Post 203

The girl's face just took my whole attention and love with her. Imagine if our drawings could come to life and just jump out of the drawing. That girl would be a very beautiful one. Of course, I would not want to imagine that to happen to the ones in post 113 and post 199. ;)

  9. Ok, understood. I'll work on it for you. :)

Well, I had a look in the internet (Google) and found a few pictures of a screen shot from the game sacred 2. There I saw the Seraphim riding a tiger! I thought, that it was very cool and did the drawing above. I did not know that the sacred characters could ride tigers. I have stopped playing games because the time they were taking from me. Almost Always the time I come back from work. So, I decided to put that time in the drawings instead. However, after seeing the seraphim on a tiger I really got curious about the game. :)

  10. very nice drawings I am glad I found this thread from the recent new posts. :)

Your colored drawings would look so cool in a x-men style comic book. Are there any of those around? :)

No, there is not. But if you want I can get one done. Just pick which character from the X-man you want and I can draw it for you. However, as this site is a Sacred game site. I think I cannot post it here. So you need to talk to Gogo first and see what he has to say, if he gives the green light... I can post it here. If not, then you just pick a Sacred character and as soon as I am done with the first request I'll start working on it. :guns:

  11. If you have the time and are up to it, would you do the Daemon, Dwarf of Inquisitor?

I'm rly curious on how you would make em :)

    cheers!

    Chareos Rantras

Hello guys! Thanks for the nice comments. I'm very glad you guys like this one.

Rantras @ Yes, I can do it for you. All I ask is for you to have a little patience. I am very slow with my drawings, but as soon as I get it done I'll post them here. However, I have a little question before I start. Do you want them to be together in the same drawing or separated in two different drawings? Another question is... I suppose that you are talking about characters from the Sacred Underworld. So, what did you mean with the "of inquisitor" in the end of your question? If you are talking about characters from Sacred 2. I am sorry, I still do not have the game, so I don't know much about all their characters.

    Ok, awaiting on your comments.

Oh! If any one has any other request just let me know. :)

  12. Hi dear friends,

I hope you all are doing fine. Sorry for being so long away, but I got through some storms that shook my life upside down. Well, I am still trying to get out of it. However, finally I managed to be able to come back on line again. Hope I can keep it that way.

Well, here it is... This one is for Sacred 2. Hope you guys like. :P

  13. Erling @

Thank you dear for the comments and nice words. As for joining an art community, I have already done so. But I don't feel ready yet to post my drawings in their Critique section for I know I can do better. All what I need is to study and to practice so that I can improve my drawings a lot more. As soon as I get to a point where I don't have only the drawings to show, but some real knowledge on techniques and how to apply them, I'll be placing my drawings for the teachers to critique.

    TelariTurunen @

If you think you should not comment more in my drawings... That is your decision to make. However, if you do so... you should keep one thing in mind; when you first criticized my drawings I did not turn my back on your critics. Instead, I tried to improve and I have being doing that since then. Every word you said had importance and meaning to me. Now, I came and criticized not you art but your way of approaching people with your critiques. So if at my “first” criticism at your way of approaching people you chose to turn your back on me, again, that is your decision to make. But I hope that my words have as much importance to you as yours had when you first approached me with your critiques.

I truly hope you try to improve your approaching methods. If you want to put yourself in the position of helping people with their art, you must be able to recognize when criticism is needed and when it is not. You should also be able to place the same passion on recognizing and describing what the person is getting right, not only concentrate on what is wrong and try hardly to find something to critique. Try to pay attention on the efforts the people are placing on trying to follow your advices or tips. Learn to see when they are doing their best to improve and let them know that you value their attitude on improving by rewarding them with a nice comment. I think that you are capable of recognizing the level of drawing skills of each person and to apply the right approach also taking into account the place where the art in case has been posted.

I am not asking to change yourself for me, I am asking you to show more of your good qualities and at the same time cause a good impression on people. Well, all I can say is that if you choose to quit on me... I am not quitting on you... even knowing that in your opinion positive comments will not help you at all. I will post every time a draw calls my attention for its special message points, good enough to make me laugh, or let me puzzled or intrigued. For as this is just a fun art section what really matters is the person who made the drawing and the feelings putting within it. The time the person took to make that drawing and above all the time the person took to come and share his or her drawings with us.

I consider myself honored by it in two ways; one by being able to see their drawings and the other by being able to place my drawings close to theirs and let them see them.

Please, try to see my reply above in the best way possible for deep in my heart I have no desire and any intention to make you sad, upset or to start an argument with you. I have a deep respect for you and I just wanted you to know the way I felt and the way people may feel about your approach. But very few will take the time to let you know that.

I carry no animosity in my words and I placed them here as a friend hoping that you also see me that way too.

    Sincerely,

    Rss

  14. hm well. from the waist and lower I like this drawing. unfortunately from waist to top of her head rather it doesnt look as nice as the rest. I mean the anatomy is a bit wrong here. too small head, too long neck and there's a part of her body that should be a lil bit lower... :)

oh but her legs... each of em is diffrent a bit than the 2nd one. left one is in fact too much longer than the right one.

    Oh, Dear...

Sometimes your criticism takes me all the pleasure of posting my drawings here. This is a fun art section not an Art school. I am sure that if you drive your attention onto your own drawings and use your so accurate cense of criticism there, you are going to find lots of mistakes too.

Since your very first reply to my Battle mage at the Sacred forum you came in with a very strong level of criticism. Yet, I tried to see it in a positive way, respecting your opinion and doing my best to improve. Then, I did my Gladiator and you heavily criticized it in a way that made me very sad. But still, I tried to see it as a good thing for if I did something to improve, that would be good for me. However, your words were in my head all the time and I was upset with it. So I drawn the Vampiress and for that drawing you said:

“Pretty good. Nice shadings, proportions, nice idea... but ofc I have to find mistakes (yea, im lil mean nasty beasty)... hands (or hand, cant see the second one :P ), though it's not so big problem at all, not so big as the second one.

I'm trying very hard but I cant find any presonal feelings in this drawing. that makes me a little bit confused, cause I saw drawing which were drawn worse, but still they had that "thing", you could find a lot of very personal messages in it. that's what I'm missing here.”

I did that drawing only because of you, hoping that you could see it… see that your words were important and carried value to me… The drawing was telling so much, yet you saw so little…

    My reply to you was:

“Telariturunen @ All the personal feelings are on every line that I tried to get it right…”

You were looking for personal messages, but you failed to see that the drawing was filled with them.

However, that was a turning point to me for I noticed the most important thing, which I was letting pass by… That is to enjoy what I am doing and above all do it to please myself not others.

Well, I have nothing else to say.

    Best regards,

    Rss

  15. Dear Silearth,

You do have my friend, you do have. you have more talent than you imagine. :) All what you need is to learn to see it in yourself. You already do it in writing. So you can do it in Drawing if you apply the same will at it as you do in your writing.

I am very happy to learn that you like my drawings. Thank you so much.

  16. I am sure you guys remember this one... Well, have a look at the colored version below. I hope you guys like.

    Vamp.jpg

Some color to our Vamp! I know, I know... She looks like she needs a bit of blood, but she is a Vamp after all.

    VampBsmall.jpg

Well, time to go... and work on our wood elf. :)

  17. Hello dear Loved friends!

I am finally back from vacation and I hope that all of you have had a merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year's eve alongside your loved ones. Also, I hope that you guys came into 2009 full of joy and the best life can give.

I have no Drawings for the moment, but I'll be working on that soon. :)

  18. For your first attempt on colloring... it is amazing! I love it! Also, I am glad that you had a try at digital art and I hope that you go ahead and do more out of it. Once you learn how to fully use photoshop and all what the program can do for you, you will make breath taking images.

You know, sometimes we spend hours and hours on a computer playing a game. When we are done, the only thing we get is our tired fingers and mind. However, with digital art we can bring our own fatasies to life using the little toy we love (that is the computer) so that our time is not completely lost. :)
