Wow! Really? Ben you are too Awesome for words. I'm practically speechless, enjoy your business trip, have a good time and I hope that you enjoy the trip. You really like the ideas? Sorry, I am just so completely blown away that you would even want to make this character at all, I only spent quite a long time today just thinking about the combat arts carefully etc. I used pretty much from the Sacred Wiki website the skill set and combat arts of the Seraphim to act as a guide line, thinking through very carefully the different combat arts, what they do etc. I used my imagination to help, while trying to keep this character relevant to the world of the Sacred 2 game all at the same time and that wasn't easy... Please may I be the first person to try the character out once she's developed? I not ask because she's my idea, I have always wanted to be able to create my own computer character but not have the brains to do so. So Kudos to you that you have the know-how etc. I simply cannot thank you enough.

I have an idea and even if such a thing is not possible, I hope that you all like at least the idea. Firstly the image of the character is Courtesy of Google Images and is the soul right of the person who created her. My possible new/bonus character concept is based on a being like the image of the cat like woman in the image below. If someone is interested in creating My Huntress Character concept, use the image below, as template only. I can't draw fantasy characters myself, hence why I am using that image purely for illustration purposes only.
HUNTRESS
Huntress: Is the last of her kind, she is a Katrissian/a cat sapien. Her entire species got wiped out during the great Dragon War, she is a Huntress by nature, but she has magical powers, that match her deadly physical attributes. She is neither good or bad on the whole, but she will take any side that will help her reach her own personal goals. She posses stealth abilities, being a cat like species.
The Story:
With being the only one of her kind left, it seems and appears to be that all and any records of her once mighty species has been erased from all Ancarian Historic Records. Angered by such a fact is why on a personal level, the Huntress does not take sides, that said, she will use either good or bad to her own advantage in order for her to achieve whatever she needs to achieve.
Huntress, being the last of her kind means that she has her own goals, that aside. She is stealthy. Fast, strong, she is the only one to have the gift of the Mystic Arts, an ancient art of magic and so, so much more than that, that most and other species fear such a power. Being a cat like being she has great dexterity that enables her to be the most proficient in duel wielding of single handed weapons. However, she can also fight unarmed using her deadly claws, so over all, she is one species not to be messed with. (Note: Being a cat, she has natural enhanced perception, so this skill is not included in the General Skills Section)
The Path:
Introduction Light Path} ‘I am the last of my kind. The great Dragon War was fought and my kind were destroyed, not only by the mighty dragons, but we were also even an enemy to the Seraphim who are so holier than though. But they were not the only ones that did not welcome my kind in that great war, with so many overwhelming odds, we never stood a chance. Now I am on a personal mission of my own and I shall do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.’
Introduction Dark Path} ‘I am the last of my kind and I am out for revenge on those who had a hand in wiping out my entire race. Nothing and no one shall get in my way, fore be warned anyone or anything that should try.’
Combat Art Skills:
Concentration. Hunter Focus. Mystic Arts Lore. Kat-Magic Lore. Combat Discipline. Mystic Arts Focus. Kat-Magic Focus.
Offensive Skills:
Duel Wield. Tactics Lore. Ranged Weapons. Magic Staffs. Damage Speed Lore. Also the Huntress can use all and any Ranged Weapon.)
Defensive Skills:
Armour Lore. Spell Resistance. Constitution. Toughness. (Note: Being a cat, the Huntress has natural agile reflexes that work in the same way as the skill for Combat Reflexes, therefore, this skill is not needed for her.)
General Skills:
Riding. Devine Devotion. Alchemy. Bargaining. Blacksmith.
Huntress Aspects:
Hunter The Huntress is a pure natural in the art of duel wielded weapons and as such, this is her most greatest strength. That said, she has very powerful claw attacks and other deadly moves.
Mystic Arts: The Huntress being a natural in the art of duel wielding, she has special combat arts that go hand in hand with either close combat or long ranged weapon skills.
Kat-Magic: This combat art tree is a secondary magic art that goes together nicely, with the Mystic Arts Combat Tree
Huntress Combat Arts:
Aspect: Hunter; Fury Swipe. Deadly Pounce Strike. Summoning. Battle Rage. Claws Of Fire. Hunt Storm. (Buff)
Aspect: Mystic Arts; Fury Bolt. Fire Leach. Lightning Surge. Death Seeker. Ancient Healing. (Buff)
Aspect: Kat-Magic; Venom Bow. (Buff) Kittling Pack. Kat-Tornado. Battle Cry. Kat-Clone.
Unfortunately I do not have the ideas for the bronze, silver and gold modification distribution points but I am completely open to any suggestions if anyone has any. Anyway, I hope that you all liked my character concept?
What They All Do:
Aspect: Hunter
Fury Swipe: This combat art allows for the Huntress to use her razor sharp claws which are fast and deadly, at least to anything that is of flesh and blood.
Deadly Pounce Strike: This combat art is similar to her Fury Swipe, but Huntress attacks with a charging leap and her claws however produce deadly poison as she lands her devastating blow in her pounce.
Summoning: This combat art is one of the most ancient powers that allows the Huntress to summon fourth 2 Kat-Lun Warriors, these are spirits of the Kat-Lun, a sort of Assassin Warrior clan of her race. With the mod points, Huntress can summon a third or a fourth Kat-Lun Warrior to join her in battle. Also one of the mod points can turn this combat art into a Buff.
Battle Rage: This combat art allows Huntress to enter a sort of Frenzy where Huntress can raise her attack speed, combat damage for both long ranged and close combat weapons, as well as raise her defence and spell resistance considerably, that will last for 50 seconds. This is handy for when you need that extra edge.
Claws Of Fire: What this combat art can do is simple enough. Huntress can imbue her claws in flames that do not harm her, but they sure as all heck will harm her enemies. These are good for a Roast Orc, Or a deep fried Goblin Steak.
Hunt Storm: (Buff) This Buff will produce a dark cloud over Huntress that will strike nearby enemies with wild lightning. However, should they try to run away, this cloud can move off away from Huntress, but this won’t make her vulnerable as she has other combat arts to aid her, so make no mistake if you think she’s now an easy kill, while the storm will hunt down the enemies, as they run away.
Aspect: Mystic Arts
Fury Bolt: Huntress can fire a bolt like energy that is like a small ball, once it hits its target, it damages it on combat, the mods for this combat art allow for huntress to fire more bolts in order to hit multiple targets, or one huge massive bolt, the choice is yours.
Fire Leach: Huntress produces a blaze of fire from her paws, which strike one target, setting them on fire, but it will then go from the first target and leach itself onto the next target and the next, etc.
Lightning Surge: This combat Art will allow Huntress to strike forth from her claws lightning bolts that can hit one enemy, however, the one who is hit, the lightning can pass through and onto the next singular target, with the ability to modify this bad boy of a combat art to hit groups of enemies instead.
Death Seeker: This combat art allows Huntress to summon fourth a sort of Voo-Doo like Cats head, but it being the size of a human skull, but ablaze with fire, this skull floats in the air as it is not attached to a body and basically it acts like a heat seeking missile, so once it hits one or more targets, it will go on to strike any enemies that try to flee away from its deadly attack, setting them on fire as it strikes them.
Ancient Healing: (Buff) This buff will appear as a red and white aura completely surrounding Huntress’s body, not only will it heal her when she gets hit by weapons, Ancient Healing also has the abilities to nullify any spell casted upon her, Ice, Magic, Poison, Fire, as well as also deflect ranged weapon attacks, while this buff is active.
Aspect: Kat-Magic
Venom Bow: (Buff) This combat art allows Huntress to summon fourth a green and yellowish aura like bow that has the highest concentration of Multiple Venoms and just like The Seraphim's Beefy Gee weapon, this weapon replaces any long ranged weapon, needing a slot free to use it and it’s Starting Venom Damage is 100 venom damage
Kittling Pack: Huntress summons form a pack of small cats, but these are anything but cute, they are fierce and can cause some considerable harm.
Kat-Tornado: Huntress can run really fast around her enemies causing whirlwind that sucks the enemies into it, causing damage.
Battle Cry: Huntress makes a high pitched mewling type of scream that can knock back enemies and hurt them too.
Kat-Clone: Huntress can summon forth a clone copy of herself in order to confuse her opponents and she works exactly in the same way as the Inquisitor’s Double with a mod to turn the clone into a permanent buff
Ben I hope you like these changes that I made? Please let me know if any of them are not doable, thank you. I also hope that everyoe else here likes the changes that I have made.

By all means Steve check out Part 2 when you can. Heads Up, I am in the middle of putting together an idea concept for a possible additional character for Sacred 2 Gold, I will be posting that once I have finished it. And I am not worried if new characters cannot be made for the game, but at least the idea within itself, is an interesting one.

Thank you Androdion for the info, much appreciated, I am new to being a PC gamer. I'll give the camera txt to free view a try some time.

Greetings to you Schot, I have Sacred 2 gold with GOG, will your camera options work here too? I know where the Sacred 2 folder is in my Gog Folder and I am using Windows 10. I hope that helps?

Steve, thank you so, so much, and you are so right, silly me, it had not occurred to me that the map of Sacred could be another part of the Sacred World. I have left you a reply on your Journals, thank you for sharing that link with me. I appreciate that beyond mention and your right, it does seem and appear that the High Elves and the Humans cannot get along with each other, which I can so relate to as even in this modern day world, sadly some people cannot get along with others and not just other people like myself, but anyone that is remotely different, it's quite a shame really. Thank you for saying that my theories make sense and I am happy to welcome other peoples theories too, as I truly want to engage in what I hope to be a very interesting topic that we all can share. Much sincere respects to you Steve, again thank you.

Wow! Amazing and so totally Awesome Screen Shots. I like your journals, that is such a cool idea, some of the places I know about, but others I had no idea, I will definitely visit them in my PC version of the game, as I intend to share some screen shots of my own, about a few locations that have me curious about and it would be good to get other peoples ideas and theories about those locations. May I add you as a friend on here? Is that something that can be done here? I hope you not mind me asking since I am new to this site. Keep up the good and fantastic work, I will also follow you too but again, I not know how to do these things.

Sacred 2 Archives
Part 4
I played the original Sacred Game and even though it says at the Sacred Wiki Web Site that Sacred 2 is a prequel to Sacred, if that is so, how comes the Seraphim not have the same combat arts from the previous game? She’s essentially the same character, same race even, so please forgive me where her combat arts for Sacred 2 makes no real sense to me. However, there is another thing, for this let’s take a good look at the two maps from each game.
Sacred Map
Sacred 2 Map
Even I can see that both maps do not remotely match up, be it if you were to use a computer program to use map 2 and take it back how many years apart the two games histories are meant to be set by. I’ll be very surprised if the results match exactly map 1. I am going to take a stab in the dark bet and this is also one of my many theories, map 2 aged backwards will not match up in any shape or form with map 1.
Please someone put that theory to the test, I do not mind. I would love to find out the results. Other Theories are:
There originally was two Temple Guardians and that they were brothers, the reason for why the Temple Guardian has the shooting arm. Whereas all of the other Temple Guardians in the Waste Lands, have two perfectly good arms. The two brothers get into a fight, not only does the 1st Temple Guardian get his arm wrenched off, he gets quite damaged too, hence why his memories are incomplete and also why when he is not wearing armour he appears to be quite weak as he stands and coughs, watch his actions carefully and you will see what I mean and to my way of thinking there has to be a reason for this, hence my idea/theory.
The Great Machine is an ancient old form of AI, so old that all and any records obtaining to its origins etc. Are lost. Being around for so long, it for some reason is losing its original power source. It detects the T-Energy that is part of Ancaria, so it goes there to collect all of the T-Energy to make it, it's new power source, also by this time there is more Temple Guardians, though I have no theories to how or why more were made other than the creator who made the first two, probably decided to make more of the Temple Guardians.
The T-Energy Consoles that reside in some towns of Ancaria and other places are meant as data collecting consoles and for somehow summoning a Temple Guardian to help the people with either information or to do certain tasks for them, this is before the Great Machine took control over all of the other Temple Guardians, all but the original model, how and why I have not figured that part out just yet.
The Seraphim Island originally belonged to the War Dragons and it looked a whole lot different before the great volcano of that place erupted, or something else happened, which virtually almost devastated the entire land, hence why there are various ruins on the land. Lastly, The Waste Lands was not originally a waste land, originally it was part of a desert land, but there was also fields, lakes etc. Back in the time before the Great Dragon War and it is that very war in which how and why it became a waste land.
I hope that you all liked my info about me, this game and my theories/ideas and my little tip on the Armour and Weapon Modifications for this game. Feel free to ask me anything about my experiences that I have with this game, or about my theories etc. I would like to know what you all think about them etc. Until my next post, please be kind and good to one another. Peace, always.
Amy aka She Hawk.

Thank you Ben for letting me know that.

Oh wow, oh wow. Why thank you Ben for the helpful mod file for the original Sacred Game. I have Sacred Gold Via GOG, will your mod work for that Ben? Not to worry if not, I sincerely appreciate you giving me a link to download the mod. I have 3 games now via GOG, it may not seem like much, but for me it's more than I thought that I would end up having.

Wow, thank you Steve, I will take a look at the link and see if I can understand the instructions for the camera view. I actually like the idea behind the mods for PC games too.

Sacred 2 Archives
Part 3
I have tried to play Sacred for the PC, strange that, that game is not available for the consoles. Though it is not quite so easy to find a Rune Master in that game, or at least for me personally, so please no one get annoyed with me. Rune Drops seem to be not quite as frequent as they are in Sacred 2, not that I can tell as it is pretty hard to get anywhere with any character apart from the one that can heal herself and her ally, the other characters are easily killed off.
And trust me when I say I can play most other RPG’s and not get killed off, the first time around yes and the odd few other times also, but on the whole I can keep my character alive, but not with Sacred, or so it at least seems that way with me. Heck, a few characters of mine in Sacred 2 have been killed more than once or twice, etc. things like that can and do happen. I have worked long on hard in being able to achieve quite a good Survival Rate in this game, being quick on drinking the health potions really helps and trust me, when I say to achieve that, was difficult for me, as due to my being learning disabled, it makes me slow in nearly almost everything that I do.
As odd and as strange as this maybe, but having quick reaction times came from my playing Tomb Raider and anyone who has played that game, will know that quick reaction times for those games is quite a must have thing, if anyone really wants to play that game. I ended up having poor Lara Croft killed off more times than I can count. I simply stopped playing Tomb Raider as each new game began to get harder and even more harder for me to play and that is when any game like that, is no longer fun or cool to play.
Also due to my disability I cannot play most other games, RPG and Racing Games I am really good at playing and I am fairly reasonable good at playing the odd FPS title games such as Bioshock and that game really truly is a hard one to play. Dark Messiah Might And Magic: Elements, while it’s not quite an FPS, it is from the 1st person perspective and also quite a difficult game to play in places. I honestly and truly do appreciate that the games as mentioned here, may not be difficult for everyone else, I can only hope if nothing else that you are all able to appreciate how these games for me at least are difficult for me to be able play them.
While racing can be fun, the games that I have are: Project Gotham Racing 3, Forza Horizon 1&2 and the odd few PS One Rally Racing Games. On the whole I much prefer Role Playing Games, there is something about the epic battles, the weapons the armour, the locations and in places where it’s been done really well, fantastic back stories to the overall game.
In all honesty, there is nothing quite like a really good RPG. But RPG in general, has its own sense of wonder, amazement, adventure and much, much more. Back however, to Sacred 2. Like I said in part 2. I really had no clue of what I was supposed to do or where to go, but the more times I began to play the game, the easier things became and even both the main map and mini map were easy to follow. A lot of game maps be it RPG or not, I have found to be quite hard to follow, mini maps in some games, even more so.
Not everyone is going to be able to know how to read maps in real life, let alone in-game maps. I am a very good example of this fact and I honestly cannot think of a better example than myself and I can say that there are others with learning disabilities that are far. Far, far much worse than the ones that I have. Those are the ones I truly feel for, as they won’t be able remotely play any of these console games, regardless of which type of game it might be.
While I do appreciate that most PC and console games are for most part for the those people who are gamers, please do not get mad or cross with me when I say that this should not be for you gamers only, it may shock you to know that one person once told me that a person like me should not be playing console games because of my learning disability, with and I quote. ‘PC games and console games are not designed for someone like you and they are not meant for you anyway.’ End Quote.
Seriously, I am not making that up. I can’t really tell you all, how that made me feel. Thankfully I did not let what that person said to me, stop me from wanting to play console games. Though I will admit, for a while I did not play any console game, but I hope that is understandable as to why not? It took me some time to realise that console games should be for all people of all walks of life, no matter who or what they are, or even if they are not really all that good at playing such games, heck even I wasn’t so, for some time, but I got and became better at it over time and I feel anyone of a small or poor gaming level can achieve the same thing, and not to worry if they truly can’t master such things as console gaming, as there are truly other things out there for everyone and anyone to try and have a go at doing.
I personally feel that the Starter Island/Island Of Many Paths should have more in the way of things to do there, like maybe fight monsters in that coliseum that is there in fact it could act as being the perfect training ground and also act as an overall tutorial place, with a reward for completing it. I am not happy with what each and every character starts off with in this game even in Champions Of Norrath, each and every character at least had one basic full set of armour and one very basic weapon.
I do not know if anyone has noticed but the prices of items in this game are really quite expensive, more so really good double socketed items and my apologies if I am not spelling Socketed right, my spell checker for Microsoft Word had other suggestions, but not one for this word. So taking into account the price of items, I feel personally it would be best for all characters in Sacred 2 to be fully armoured and with a weapon, all basic of course, allowing the player to be able to get and buy better stuff, once they have enough gold gained in the game.
Well that’s it for now, I do not want these things to be far too long to read, even for myself. I have a lot more to discus about the game and my experiences with the game and don’t worry, I will reveal what my theories of the game to be, all in good time.
-
Wow, thank you so much for your comment Steve, I am truly most humbled. Thank you also telling me about the camera view for the PC, I am a bit of a newbie in the area of PC Games, I am mostly a console gamer, if such a thing does not offend you. My one and only real reason for branching off into playing PC Games and please do not hate me for this, is that I can have and play Sacred 2 Gold as since its available for the PC only. I like and love Sacred 2 so much that I have it for my PS3 and my XBOX 360.

Sacred 2 Archives
Part 2
Picking up from where I left off (See Part 1) As I have mentioned, I have been playing Sacred 2 now for 8+years and I am not ashamed to admit of not getting even close to mastering the game. (Reaching Niob Level) And please do remember that I am a person that is Learning Disabled, but I have never let a thing like that ever stop me or get in the way of me wanting to do and achieve things.
Now then, I bought Sacred 2 somewhere between 2008-2009, sorry for being so vague, out of those two, I cannot recall exactly which it was, but I do know that it was as best near one of those two years. Now before anyone says typical of me being a girl, I am actually a Trans Girl/Woman and please with all respects, do not hold such a thing against me. When it comes to playing RPG, I have always played as a female character and no, I do not have anything against males or playing as male characters in an RPG. in fact I have both played as a Iksar shaman and as a Vah Shir berserker From Champions: Return To Arms (PS2 Game) and both of those character are males.
I play female characters out of a personal choice, but I am not afraid to play as a male character, so long as that character has good combat skills and spells to use, then I will be more than happy to chose and play as that male character. It my surprise some of you here that actually my most favourite character is the Temple Guardian, okay he’s not strictly male or female, since he is An archaic cyborg, half living creature and half machine (The description is a direct copy and paste from the Sacred Wiki Web Page) But the voice of the Temple Guardian is male, not to say that there are is not any female Temple Guardians, but I think it is a safe bet to say that they are all generically male.
Anyway, I think even the Shadow Warrior and The Inquisitor are good and cool characters too, in fact, I plan to do a build on each and every character of the game. I will admit that I chose to play the Seraphim first of all, the first time I ever played Sacred 2. Then I tried being the Dryad and the High Elf, but I also gave the male characters a try out too. I had no real clue at all, when I first began playing Sacred 2, what the objectives of the character and main over all game was, in which direction I should be going in, etc.
Let alone being able to get into doing a character build and back then I had no idea about such a thing etc. Oh and for me personally and please do not hate me etc. It’s my own personal preference again, where possible, I like the 3rd person perspective better, like the way it was done in the Game Of Dark Stone. (See Part 1 for this reference) I do not like the idea of partially looking down as though from the view point of playing a D&D Board game, to me this perspective makes no sense when you have a 3D Environment.
But that is just me personally and I will always stick to that to the day I go to my grave. The Isometric View Perspective aside, I like and love Sacred 2 and as I have said in part 1 of this post, I even rate Sacred 2 as the best RPG Ever and that it is most probably unlikely we are going to see a game that will be better and bigger than Sacred 2. Only Two other games that I know and am aware of that have been made in the 3rd Person Perspective. Drakan: The Ancient Gates (PS 2 Title) and Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King (PS 2 Title) I’m not a huge fan of the turn based RPG, but that one really is fantastic. Dark Stone Makes 3 of the 3rd Person view games, if you count that one too.
I love the battling, the story telling, but I like and love to be able to explore, where it’s possible in a game, there is for me personally not much fun or excitement in a game if one is to simply go from A-Z in a game and then go onto play the next big RPG Title with no real appreciation for all the wonderful 3D renderings etc. that has gone into making the game in the first place. I honestly do not know how people who play these role playing games really do appreciate not only the graphics, but do they also appreciate the different styles of each location, the fine detail inside and outside of a building . And there should be more places a player can go into and not only visit, but do battle say inside castles or simply to view the wonder of an age old ancient Library etc. To have these places with things to loot to reward those that like and love to explore. Even have interesting NPC’s in some of these buildings with side quests, as additional extra level of play of the game. At least for me, personally that is what I would like and love to see in RPG Titles, but most likely this isn’t going to happen.
The first time that I ever reached Gold Level in Sacred 2, I was the character of the Seraphim, sadly I cannot remember how I did her build, what her skill sets were or what combat arts I modded out, as well as her armour and her weapons. In fact that I would say for me at least getting the Skill Set right, has been the most hardest thing of all for me to develop, but I feel and think I could be on the right track at long last.
But I am more than happy to share with you the following:
All and Any Armour including special Armour Sets use 2xBlack Curse or Soul Reaver, or any of the Dryad’s and Inquisitor’s Runes. 1 of each for the Helmet, and one for the Shoulder Pad, though I am quite sure it makes no actual difference in which order you place them, not that it should affect your game play etc. I can’t imagine how the order of the armour slots modded out could or would affect the outcome of your game play.
Now I am not saying that these are an absolute must, but please do try them out and see for yourself if they are for you as effective or not. So far, on every single character that I have tried these out on they are affective, more so on silver level but they work okay too if starting off from Bronze Level. These work quite well as I said with every other single character of Sacred 2.
2xInstal Belief (Seraphim Rune), 1 for the chest plate and one for the belt
2x Golden Glade Touch (Dryad Rune) 1 for the gloves and 1 for the sleeves
2x Charged Grid (Temple Guardian Rune) 1 Charged Grid for the Leggins and 1 for the boots. For a character with just only 7 pieces of armour, chose either 1 less of the following, Golden Glade Touch or Charged Grid. Again, for me personally the rest of the mod’s are vital.
Close Combat Weapons (All) with 2 slots: 1xLava Chunk & 1x Archimedes Beam (Temple Guardian Rune)
Ranged Weapons (All with 2 slots & Optional) 1xPoison Fangs. and 1 Archimedes Beam ) I have fairly recently only just discovered at least for me personally, that the game is better off playing as a melee based character and it has 1 advantage, it gives you the choice of a skill that you would not be able to incorporate into the game if you go with having both Close Combat and Ranged Weapon Lore’s.
Best Rings: 1. Damage Physical, 2. Spell Intensity and 3: 2+ and up, attack and defence.
Best Amulets: 1. Max Hit Points and 2. Chance To Evade
Best all time Amulet Drops, Artamark’s Star, I have them at the following. (On My PS 3) Level 25: Armour 70 Defence Value +12. Level 35: Armour 70 Defence +15. And Level 45: Armour 115 Defence +19
More info to come in the next instalment of Sacred 2 Archives.
Additional! The Runes As mentioned above work even better at Gold Level, but I am using the same Rune Armour and Weapon Modifications at Bronze Level for my Dryad on Sacred 2 Gold via GOG. My sincere apologies for forgetting to mention that there is a problem however using the same Rune Set for the Seraphim and the Inquisitor, I'm not all together sure why since this truly works well for the rest of the other characters. I could be getting the skill sets wrong or maybe not have my buffs higher for these two characters, it's quite an odd problem and one that I hope to solve one day. I can at least highly recommend if you have a character at Gold Level, to fit out armour and weapons for other characters on Bronze Level, Also to note that my observations has taught me that the Buffs for each character to be the most vital and important of all above their own combat arts and if you have enough runes in your Hero Chest, get a character on bronze level to consume 10 runes each for your buffs, 5 of each if you do not have as many Runes for the Rune Exchange and if you can manage it, get your buffs higher than your character level, this I know really works, at least for me personally. Playing this game has been from a lot of trail and error, in fact more errors than I can count and I am not at all in anyway saying that my way is better, It is my deepest and sincerest hope that by my sharing my personal experiences with the game, for you all to benefit from in some way or another.

Ben, I am honoured by your comment and I thought that the Modicom Wheel of the Temple Guardian was similar to the one as seen in Attack Of The Clones, as you have mentioned. I eagerly await for the Temple Guardian Mod that you have mentioned, I have the Light Sabres Mod and for the Seraphim, The Rotating Blades Mod, there was another mod that I was interested in, but the modder mentioned that they might/may mess things up like the Rotating Blades, so I decided not to get it. I like the mods I have so far and I would not want anything to mess up those or my Sacred 2 Gold Game that I have with GOG in anyway. I am more than happy to share my thoughts and theories about this game since I have at least 8 years and over of my own personal experience with playing this game and hopefully, that has to account for something. What I am trying to say that I hope I have not just simply wasted those 8 years spent playing the game if it is all for nothing. I look forward to more of your thoughts on my continuing posts. If this helps, I have had this idea that originally there was at first only two of them made by Anubis, but not the same one of Stargate TV Fame, the idea runs along similar to Data and his twin Lore. Anyway more Temple Guardians are build and this Great Machine is some form of a sentient AI or something that becomes aware of the Temple Guardians and finds them to be kindred souls of a sort, also, it detects this T-Energy coming from Ancaria and for whatever reason, it is seeking a new power source, the hows and why he takes over the Temple Guardians I never really got around to figuring out and it's probably just all a dumb idea at best, but if you like any of it, you can have it. I have no use for the ideas anyway, honestly, I am all out of ideas for that, which would have been a story based on my own take on the story of Sacred 2, though the ideas were mostly about the Temple Guardians, but there was a few stray ideas to explain how and why each character including the Temple Guardian himself, how and why they got to where they each start off from, in the sacred 2 game.

Sacred Archives
Part 1
In the very beginning of my gaming life, I played games such as Battle Ships, Connect 4, Chinese Checkers, Guess Who, Mouse Trap and ordinary Checkers. I was never one for playing Chess, it simply held of no real interest to me and being a person with learning difficulties, it was darn too hard for me to be able to play the game, let alone, be able to understand fully how the game works etc. And then one day along comes: The Dungeon’s And Dragons Board Game, sadly I can’t quite remember which version of the board game, I think there was a series of these.
So please do forgive my vague information, I was born in 1969, way back in the Day when even Tomb Raider wasn’t a house hold console game, games like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Gallaga, etc. Were the kings of the then days of Arcade and pocket games. I forget when those things came out, the pocket games that is. Before I can tell you about my own personal experiences with Sacred 2. It is important to know some of my background story first. Move on anytime you get bored.
But know this before you move on. I would have never gotten into playing Role Playing Games if it were not for being introduced to D&D First and to shed light on what I used to play in my childhood and teenage years. I promise, I will get to the really good parts. But all good things comes to he, or she, who waits. While I did not quite fully understand the more complex rules of the board game and trying to get used to all of those strange different coloured and different sided dies.
There truly was some element of Dungeon And Dragons that I liked, even though I totally sucked at playing the actual board game and I am so okay in admitting that. But it was for me at least a very, very long time, before I got my hands eventually on a PS One Console, I had at the time only two games Xena: Warrior Princess. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xena:_Warrior_Princess_(video_game)
And Tomb Raider.
For a short time I got a little hooked on Tomb Raider, but I did like the Xena Warrior Princess game, even though it was quite difficult for me at least to play that game and then along came my true 1st RPG Title. Gauntlet Legends, but it actually, it was not until by now a very old PS One title indeed, came along that started my passion for RPG. That title was: Dark Stone. And I must admit, it was far better than GL. In so many ways, it was open world and dungeon play, all in one. I do not and cannot recall if there ever has been another PS One title to rival Dark Stone or better it.
And then of course the PS2 Came out with games such as Warriors Of Might And Magic, Baldur’s Gate 1&2 and later much later on after that, Champions Of Norrath and Return To Arms. By which this time I really was truly hooked into RPG and finally the PS 3 Comes out with a game title called Sacred 2, by this time, I never heard of the game before it, Sacred. But Sacred 2 beats all of those other titles and it’s a real game changer, it’s not all about just hack and slash or spell casting, Sacred 2 incorporated the need of both of those elements and then some.
And I have never stopped playing the game ever since I bought it, not only is it the most compelling RPG that I have ever played to date. It’s quite a learning curve, certain combat arts are weak, while others are strong and on top of all of that, you have a certain number of skills and all depending on one’s character build, not to mention armour and weapon modifications to boot. Sacred 2 definitely is not like any other RPG that has ever come and gone before it and probably not ever since it.
I did try Oblivion, Elder Scrolls 4 once, but there is so much in that game, I can’t see how anyone can play it without a walkthrough, I certainly can’t. Sure it’s very well immersive enough, but one can get lost inside that game, especially someone not used to such a wide open world RPG like that. Whereas Sacred 2 is actually easy in how to follow the world map and the mini map. True it took me quite a while to figure out what my goal was and there was as I later on found out, that there is so far much more to the game than that and I have been playing the game now 8+ years, I stopped counting by the time it had gotten to 8 years of game play and no real closer to mastering it, so to speak.
But that is never going to stop me, no matter how daunting it may seem to be, to a person like myself. I like the different character classes of the game, what each character contributes to the game and for me personally, so far the Temple Guardian, has the better back story than the rest of the other characters, as it is interesting to learn that him and his species, as best as I can tell, or the game seems to hint at it and I could be so wrong, but they are even older than the War Angels and one really compelling thing, that the Temple Guardian Hologram of himself, sub/self, whatever you want to call him, through the Temple Guardian’s own side quests as his tale unfolds.
Speaks of the Dragons and how so wrong it was to go to war with them, it’s a long shot I know, but this indicates to me at least they were all under the influence of The Great Machine, how or why had it taken over them, is anyone’s guess and what function did they serve before being taken over? In the game scattered about are T-Energy Consoles and as I understand it, and sorry again if I have this part wrong, but only the Temple Guardians can and know how to use them.
Why is that? The world of Sacred 2 seems a blend of old meets modern sci-fi like tech, almost. I have some theories, and please be gentle with your comments, I know that not everyone is going to agree with them, but I hope it’s not against the site rules for me to share those theories and more with you all? Until next time, I hope you have enjoyed so far, part one of what I like to call Sacred 2 Archives.

Delta, thank you also for your comment, it made me giggle lots. SketchUp like Sacred 2, it's quite a learning curve and I love equally every aspect of model making as I do playing Sacred 2. I only wish I knew how to do computer programming to be able to make my own game. Alas, I cannot, as I am learning disabled. I never thought I would quite get the hang of SketchUp, but thankfully it really does have easy to use tools/functionality, true it seems daunting at first and it does take some time learning how the tools work in the program and how they affect the models, when making them. It also helps having an artistic streak, though I know and respect that not everyone has one of those.

Gogoblender, thank you so much for the comment and I am honoured, In fact, I am surprised to get a comment from you another moderator and 1 administrator. I am so completely overwhelmed. Yes, Sacred 2 is definitely by far the most best RPG I have ever played since Darkstone (PSone) and Draken: The Ancient Gates (PS2), I have been playing Sacred 2 for over 8 years+ now and I can safely say, it's not easy, but worth while learning what works in the game and what does not and which are the best skill sets, to chose, etc. It's quite a learning curve and I never get tired of playing the game. In fact I like Sacred 2 more than the first game, Sacred. But that's just me personally, as well as wishing there were a male and female version of each character, or just simply more characters to be able to chose from. I have some interesting character ideas, but I do not know if it is possible to add extra ones to the game or not and I'm no game maker, I'm just a person as I said, that likes to make and build 3D Models, from dungeon designs to the Doctor's TARDIS from Doctor Who, my concept of a new Kit Car (Knight Rider) and even a few own concepts for the TARDIS Console.

Thank you Flix for such a lovely compliment, I feel sincerely honoured, if you are interested, I have made other dungeon designs that are also available to view in my Trimble SketchUp Profile at the SketchUp Ware house. I have been contemplating if I should do more dungeon designs or not, I mean I do not want that to be the only thing that I'm good at in SketchUp and I have made other models. I have been using Sketchup since way back in the day it was the property of Google in it's 7th version release. I have made a whole lot more in my current account with Trimble, suffice as to say my old models are linked to an old account I sadly no longer have access to, but I at least I have a link to my profile of that old account that I am more than willing to share a link if you're interested, it's okay if not, but all of my older models and lots more of them are there. Anyway I decided rather than do too many other dungeon designs, I would make one mega one, I have images of dungeon maps from which I have created my dungeons from and no that isn't cheating, as I have to draw every single section, there is pulling up all of the walls then actually having texture all of them, which is a lot of work, many hours and time spent doing all of that. I use Images for my textures to which now I have my very own Textures Library and it's quite big. I cannot thank you enough for both your comment and your compliment.

Hello to all here and I wish to thank all here at Dark Matters for making this site be possible. I like and love Sacred 2 so much that I have it for my PS3, my XBOX 36O and Sacred 2 Gold via GOG. Anyway, I like the character of the Temple Guardian and his backstory and indeed the detailed history of the Temple Guardians as told through the Temple Guardian's own personal quests and the information provided at the original location of The Hub, where at the end pillar a Temple Guardian tells you why they had to move the hub, etc. What really intrigues me is the location of the half sunken temple past the save pedestal where there is a merchant, a rune master and a blacksmith and it's before you enter the main Temple that takes you to the Great Machine. I'll include a screen shot of the location when I reach there on my PC version of the game, but hopefully some of you will now know where I mean, in simple terms it's where the last but one merchant is, top far end of the Waste Lands, you can't miss it, there. If you go to where the save pedestal is and look to your left, you wills see a half sunken temple/dungeon area that cannot be reached and obviously, it's not. But what if it were, what would it look like. Sadly I am not blessed to have the same exact textures as used in the dungeon level of the Great Machine. But I did my best to get as near match, though not exact, so please bare that in mind before commenting please on a dungeon level design that I made using SketchUp. It's best vied in 3D if you like the design, please let me know and please be gentle, I'm not a pro expert model maker, just someone that loves to make 3D models. And if you really like it and are interested, I can post here for you all the link to the second level design to this first one. I like my 1st design so much that I decided to make a second one of which the first dungeon level design leads to.

Sacred 2 Archives. Part 2

Wow! Thank you so much Steve for sharing that information with me and the link too. Are those Amulets you mentioned that increase skill point. For the PC version of this game? I have not come across those amulets yet, or I may have missed them knowing me. I only wish those Artamark Amulets were sold in the game via merchant or a rune master or even the blacksmith. I literally got lucky with those amulet drops and they are quite a boon to have, I won't say the game can't be played without them, they help boost your magic, fire, ice and poison resistance etc. hence why I feel these amulets should be available items to buy as mentioned.
