  1. add me on psn and we can talk Will do, sir. The names Blokeh so keep an eye out for me. I'm only around the 1.5mil mark as I keep spending it on rubbish, but if you give me a ballpark figure I'll try and raise the cash for you this weekend.
  2. A few questions.... 1. Do you have anything else? 2. What timezone are you? Alright, joking aside, serious questions.... 1. How in the hell did you get so many legendaries?!? 2. How much you want for the Boneslicer swords? Both of 'em.
  3. My level 35 Seraphim is an unstoppable killing machine. A few points short of 1000 in both attack and defense, HP around 3000, a sword in each hand capable of dealing approx 120 damage each while leeching 15 HP with each strike, and a bow that can one shot pretty much anything. Which is the problem.... I'm getting naff-all experience for things I kill, and the drops are even worse! I've got Bargaining up to my level, plus an extra 12 via.... those.... um.... whaddyacallits.... you can equip up to 6 of them, 3 of the same type max, and they add armour and other skill points on them.... yeah, those, and another 10 or so via the weapons and armour that I've got equipped, yet the merchants suck! I've not died once, and have a survival rating of over 77%, and I think one of the reasons why I'm getting poor enemies, drops and merchants is that I've spent my 50+ hours doing all the side missions, and I've only just this morning gone "Oh, the main quest, Gar Colossus is dead, off to the Orcs...." and that's where I am now. However, I have explored every single part of the map (meaning I've visited all the regions, not fully explored them) and found that the desert region and the swamp region was best for me, but my main mission progress has just hit 25% complete. Is that the problem I'm making, and do I need to continue to do the main quest to get the better enemies/drops/merchant stuff, or am I destined to just keep plodding on making 16 experience off of the biggest enemies in the game?
  4. PS3 owner here. Sacred 2 is huge. Massive in fact. No jumping, unless you use a special attack that makes you leap forwards, but jumping isn't the aim of the attack, its the damage caused when you land. Its mainly top-down, but the camera can be moved. Unfortunately it stops short of being third person, which is a bloody shame. Socketing - get a material with a certain upgrade, get a blacksmith to put it on your weapon, bam, added attack. Overall, this game is truly awesome, but you need to put time into it to get the most. A few minutes here and there is a waste.
  5. Its little things like this that make me more interested in a game - where developers actually take the time to honour the people who helped make their games worth making in the first place.
  6. Glad to be here, sir. My best friend (also best man and godfather to my son) Pieman does all the coding. I just do all the running and stuff. He uses the site as a portfolio for his upcoming profession change, and I use it as a place to hang out and chat with my friends. Surprisingly, it takes up very little time, although admittedly I should put more time into it. The missus is a gamer too, and little Zack is only 15 month old, so I get plenty of time to game and stuff. Yay for gamer girls!
  7. That helps quite a bit actually. One thing I did forget to ask is if the experience sharing works in free play or in co-op campaign only. Ooh! If the host has a silver character and starts a bronze host server, can his silver character still join the game or will he need a new character? Sorry to ask here. The manual SHOULD answer these questions, but lets face it, it ain't exactly helpful is it? Took me losing a level 18 Seraphim before I realised how to set abilities properly.
  8. So a few guys on my site are all geared up for a little get together, but we could do with a few questions answering before we risk it and wind up losing our eyebrows. If anyone can help, mucho appreciado. 1. Different difficulties. My friend is on silver, myself and another are on bronze. If the silver guy starts up a co-op game and us two others join.... a) can he specify what difficulty the server is? b) if he downgrades from silver to bronze for us, what will happen to his game progress? c) carrying on from the above point, what will happen to ours? 2. Sharing experience. So me and a friend noticed that when one killed an enemy, we both got experience. How does this work exactly? We were at the same level so we got the same experience, but if my level 35 Seraphim kills an orc and gets 1000EXP, what would my friend's level 25 Shadow Warrior come out with - more, less, or the same? 3. Hero Chests. Are they available online? And if so, do we only have access to OUR stuff, or do we have access to each other's stuff too? 4. Are there any other things we could do with knowing beforehand? We know that for co-op everyone has to be on the same path, and we know about the level gap thing.... anything else? Thanks in advance, guys and gals!
  9. So I own and run www.uuddlrlrba.co.uk which is a multiplatform gaming site, and I recently picked up Sacred 2 after a friend mentioned there would be a special edition version. Having never even heard of the game, but being a sucker for special editions, I got it. And got hooked. Badly. Now, 4 or 5 others at my site own the game, and we're all having a blast. Sacredwiki is bookmarked, this place is too, and now I figured I'd show my face. 30, husband, father, gamer, metaller, drinker and partyer. Thats about it.
