  1. If something doesnt pull well, I will usually just run right up next to it to do Flaring Nova. That way I know I kill that particular enemy and after it is dead I can keep running and pulling more. Sometimes I just skip them to lower the time it takes to do the run. Sure it lowers my experience per run, but my perspective on it is: faster runs with lower experience/run > long run with more experience/run
  2. It doesnt work just standing on the 360 version. The damage isn't there. I was on my Seraphim the other day and a guy came in with a VP build and said if you guys want free experience come to the desert. He used VP and we just followed him on our mounts. He just ran around the desert gathering everything he could. It worked great and we gained tons of experience. I am guessing the desert is a great place to level using this build because it has mainly insect type and no objects to get enemies stuck on. I am not sure of his modifications on VP or what level his was. Just hope you dont run into major lag which there will be some when everything starts dying. The infection still damages them offscreen so just keep running and killing if you go with this build. However the Con to this type of build is: you do not get most of your drops because you are always running. If you just want to level then go right ahead and make a build with VP, but dont expect to get anything but experience.
  3. It does stun which helps out in pulling. If you can pull a ton of mobs at once and stun 75% of them, or better yet kill all of them in 1 Flaring Nova then your speed of clearing the area goes away up. You do not have to stop and heal when they are dead or stunned. This also depends on how well all of them pull. I've found that most range enemies don't pull well. ( I am thinking spiders)
  4. You can socket your gear with + All Skills and + All combats to increase dmg a lot faster than just reading runes. You just need to read 1 rune for a long time with this method. This will also give you the opportunity to figure out for yourself which is better suited for you. By just reading 1 rune you can test out BFG for awhile to see if you like it. If BFG doesn't fit your style you can make another character that is DW. You should start seeing the true damage potential coming out around level 65 or so once you get your last skill. From what I have read, by the time you are level 50 and you've been lazy on keeping bargaining up you should start seeing +3 All Skills/Combat Arts/ X Aspect. Bof
  5. Would an Area of Effect build like a Flaring Nova Seraphim work here? EX. If you took Easy Rider's Rev Tech build, would the build do mass dmg to all the things here? I am testing out his build on my 360 and I like it so far, though as he said it is slow to develop. Anyway if FN would work well here I am definately going to try out this area. After kobolds and the HE Thysilum area experience go down in silver, this would be a great place farther in the game to increase lvling rate. Thanks for the info, Bof
  6. BFG seems like it would do more. It is based on weapon damage and gets a huge bonus. I believe you can also have a greater attack speed with BFG as well, but it also depends on your playing style. If you like to go up and whack away and enemies by all means go DW, but if you prefer the safe method go BFG. Both builds can work effectively with the right modifications. Bof
  7. I would go with Astral Lord type build for him. I dabbled into the shadow warrior and with 4 minions I kill this boss with relative ease on silver. With the build I tried out, I finished silver difficulty at level 31. Go with minions and use shadow veil so it does not come after you. I read runes to keep my minions doing around 150 dmg per hit. It seemed to work well throughout silver difficulty.
  8. Hello All, I am new to Dark Matters forums. I just recently purchased Sacred 2 for my 360, and upon research before purchasing I found that this website is where most information is found. In the first few days of checking out characters, I've found that my playing style suits the Seraphim. If anyone would like to party up and play on the 360, I would be more than happy to enjoy your company. My 360 username is the same as on this forum: BoF12 I look forward to speaking and discussing things involved in Sacred 2. Bof
