I'll be doing both I think. Still have a mission to get a toon to 200 on closed net HC. But also getting the open net CM patch urge also.

WTG bro. That was it. Just got in, forgot to hit cm patch on so lost a bunch or armor I had stored up. But it worked. Now its bed time. I can sleep soundly dreaming of new and Fancy Cm-goodies. And a certain Quest that starts in the Jungle.

So what I have left to do is delete the settings in windows firewall. its already off and the Router already has the rule in it for both.

Your welcome, Have fun with it. On defense and socketing equipment it really does help to try and get at least 30% of everything. Chattius wrote about it in his dryad spidergirls guide.

Thanks Marcus. This I was able to follow and found a few things I had wrong..... and when I checked the ipconfig I saw that Tunngle was still working somehow. I uninstalled that and got the ipconfig correct again. The router set as per your instructions and the site you referred me too. But there is still something wrong. Port not found message is still coming up.
All this is trying to fry my brain. -
Aloha Debbie, great to see new players. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Like Dreeft asked if you plan on Ice and Blood Closed-net most of us play HardCore and can help you get off on the right foot. A happy hooyah was given me when I first showed up in game, really helps to get things going.

As for Furian, your probably on a linksys router. I can't remember the exact way to get in but start with typing 192.168.0.1 into your browser and see what happens
Almost I used 192.168.1.1 and that got me to the user account password etc. I finall shot in the dark and remembered what I had used. that put me in touch with my actual router settings...... whew..... now what?

That's why you have to create a port forwarding rule for port 7011 on your router.

No worries Dreeft we are still safe on Closed net. I have a mission to finish before I totally merge with the open net. Besides right now I can't even get logged into open net, only LAN and SP work for me.

If thats the case..... then it might be the port on my router needs opened. How do I go about doing that? I'll try it tonight when I get home from work.

I can get into LAN with the character that I choose but for open-net no matter which I pick it still comes up FurianDeathWarrior.
In the character selection screen I have 12 toons saved, but in the saved file there are showing 19 differant saves. How can I remeve them and start over. Or better said what files in the saved character file DO NOT DELETE?

How safe would it be to delete all saved character files from the file location instead of thru the game?

Tryed to get in last night when I got home, First attempt I had the CiSacred mod and CM-Patch installed and when I try logging in to an open server I would get a port error. I uninstalled the Patch and Mod, reinstalled the CM-Patch only and tryed again with same result. What should I be using for a port number?
Oh and another issue I have is no matter which character I chose when I get in lobby it shows up with the name FurianDeathWarrior. I went thru the entire list of saves and there isnt one there with that name. I deleted all saved characters except for a few and I know he isn't there.

Last night I was trying to find the line in the balance file so that I could not get experience for kills. I want to change this value so that I may hunt for Set Pieces at certain levels. Any help here? The lines I did find with experience in them didn't seem to change the actual amount gained in game.
ps. when I tryed changing this value:
MP_experience = {1000,1225,1325,1550,1825},
to this for silver play
MP_experience = {1000,5,1325,1550,1825},
the experience I received stayed the same.
