  1. Modding warding energy and getting concentration to 75 will certainly not hurt the build.

I did this on my playthough but found that warding energy was more trouble than it was worth because in a combat situation, it would go down before divine protection would and it took longer animation time than divine protection to recast so I just never needed/used it, which is why I suggested mastering first tactics, then rev focus, then constitution, then armor, then toughness, adding a few points to warrior focus as described.

With sufficient RPH, I found I not need stamina to regen my Combat Arts which is why I added to DEX, willpower and vitality instead. This is all little stuff though, do whats fun for you.

Note: It's come to my attention that on the PC version only, Divine protection is harder to make chain castable on as of version 2.40. With capacity and boost, duration will still be just below cooldown. It can exceed it by eating lots of runes (Combat Art level > 150). I would still probably play the character the same way, if you want to get concentration master earlier and get warding energy because you're concerned about the second between when DP will wear off and when you can cast it again go ahead.

On console duration will exceed cooldown for divine protection at Combat Art level 34ish still.

  2. Hi, Does anyone have a high level divine protection Combat Art in ice & blood modded for capacity and boost? If yes can you please post stats including cooldown and regeneration time?

Some people over at SIF telling me that no matter how high one gets DP, duration will never exceed cooldown + regen even with capacity and boost.

On XBOX I had duration > Cooldown + regen around Combat Art level 34 and any runes only widened the gap.

  3. Yep, run speed caps at 150%, which will be faster than riding without riding mastery, but who gets riding mastery below level 150 or at any level for that matter? ;). You might want to look at some of the articles in my sig, especially if you're playing console. Hope that helps.

  4. I bought both. Am LOVING AC2. Beautiful game, wonderful gameplay, pretty interesting story. Nice fantasy feel, nice to be able to develop your character and progress through the story.

COD modern warfare is really violent and involves a lot of shooting what look like very realistic humans with modern-day type guns in actual countries that have been or are war zones in the missions. I'm not too far into it but it seems a bit too real for a video game to me and it feels like this type of video game killing should not be fun, so I have hesitancies about this one. It feels like the main point of the game is to kill with big guns and other weapons.

I definately would not want kids to play this game.

  5. Apart from crit the only other thing that might work is "chance to disregard armour". Has anyone ever tested it with spells?

I think that's kinda like what ancient magic does so I'd be surprised if it worked with spells.

I remember soldats wrote some stuff about chance to ignore armor. The discussion did not include a reference to it working with spells or not: http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...1989&page=2

  6. I guess modding meteor shower for extra damage fire and physical damage and crit is the way to go and then raising that damage through Combat Art levels and smith arts and fiery ardor.... Stun the boss with a stationary teleport if necessary. Or modding shard for extra damage.

I find high elves to be generally squishy compared to seras with dp and dryads with bark, but they are great mob killers. I never finished niob with my fire elf, though I did get there. Having 2 kinds of skin available will probably make you a bit less squishy.

  7. I've seen some references to holos burgers on the forum and holos burger survivers. Is a holos burger what holos the minotaur miniboss turns you into if he eats your toon for lunch or something else?

Is a holos burger surviver a toon that almost but not quite got eaten for lunch by holos?

  8. The number it displays for regen time doesn't really matter. What matters is the time it actually takes to regen the Combat Art or Combo. Regen per hit works correctly on console versions or on ice & blood. It does not work correctly on the PC version without the ice & blood upgrade.

If you're using soul hammer + pelting strikes combo that should be at least 4 hits or more every time the combo goes off. Modding pelting strikes for double hit chance will increase the number of hits.

Every one of those hits will regen your combo by your regen per hit amount as long as the hit connects. With 1 point in ranged weapons, high level BFG buff and BFG buff fully modded for enhancement --> enhancement --> accuracy, you should not have trouble hitting things. By the time the combo has executed, you should be ready to fire it again. If not, one more regular shot should regen it all the way. Add more regen per hit if you need/want to, its a very good modifier.

I don't recommend adding points to stamina as they are better spent on VIT (more hp), DEX (more bfg damage) and WIL (Divine protection shield points & spell resistance boosts) in my opinion for bfg builds of the warrior type I made. Adding some points to stamina certainly won't make or break the build though.

Feel free to post details of your build if you want me to look at it.

  9. Hi, When you are using the BFG, you can't use another weapon or shield at the same time as the BFG is a 2H weapon. so yes, you will not get bonuses from weapons you are not wielding at the time.

For regen times, it depends on a lot of things. +Combat Art or +Aspect will boost the level of the combat arts you are using which will also increase their regen times.

Make sure you have the appropriate focus skills: exalted warrior focus and rev tech focus to bring down your regen times.

The best way to quickly regen exalted warrior Combat Arts (or even better: combos) with the BFG is the regen per hit bonus that you can get on armor, rings or amulets.

I suggest reading my guide and dobri's on bfg seraphims.
