I level the same way... I'm level 20 on both characters and I haven't even done the second "Main quest" (levied tax)

They needed to have a couple of characters standing in front of a massive dragon. And a sacred logo in between the dragon and the characters (dragons head top right, characters bottom left) Or better yet... 1 billion kobolds on the front. And that is all.

I am currently working on 2 characters. level 20 Celestial seraphim (Soldats build, VERY FUN) level 21 Pyro HE Just got the game last week and I think I have about 15 hours into it. Pretty fun stuff.

Yeah, thanks for mentioning that... I'm actually planning a build similar to Soldats celestial technobabe. I love pure casters and that was the reason for starting the Pyro HE in the first place. I think my GF can burn mobs down with her from a distance while I get more up close and personal with the seraphim. Otherwise, if my GF does not want to play, then I will probably play the seraphim because she's pretty fun right now. And the animation could have been wayyyyy better for BT for the HE. It gets a little boring watching those weird looking flames dance across the battle field.

Haha, thanks for all the input guys. Last night I got to work on my seraphim, I had her to level 3 (about 10 mins) and I had to grab a new beer... long story short, she died and I had to start over right away lol. Hopefully she fares better in battle. Psylocide

Thank you! She's actually going to get the Pyro HE and I am going to build a different character for myself. But, regardless if she sticks with it or not, I am taking both of them to end game and try to get 150 on both. I just guess I'm not used to playing end game bosses without a tank or heal (thanks WoW) and thought it may be needed. I guess I get to build my Inquisitor or seraphim then. Thanks, Psylocide

No one? All day? Should have put this in PC....

Crazy... you guys must be just rushing through the story Quests. I have taken my WoW approach and grab as many side quests as possible and complete them by doing circles until I reach the area's that contain Main Quests. I am at level 20 and I haven't even gotten to the 2nd part of levied tax. But I'm gaining levels like a beast, doing quests are more rewarding to me than grinding and I still get crazy XP from the Q and all the mobs I kill on the way.

Hey all, I have been leveling my Pyro HE for a bit, and I want to try and get my GF to play this. The problem is, her favorite game is Tetris or Donkey Kong lulz. Here's where I need help, as I'm looking through all the classes... seraphim's look like the only one with an Ally heal CA. Can you make a true "healer build," or is this not needed? Would It be better if I just sat and tanked for her while she blasts stuff down with the HE? I came over to this after playing WoW for years, and D2 even longer... but I have a feeling she is going to have problems surviving and I want to keep her alive so she doesn't get discouraged and actually sees why I play this game so much. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Psylocide

Ty for the welcome... I saw that he was FR but that's why I was spamming IS, too bad... I guess the physical dmg from IS is not enough to bring him down yet. I guess that is a lost quest for the low level pyro. SOB

Hey all, long time lurker... first time poster. I have a question about the Kobold Chieftan quest, my HE is level 15 Pyro spec and I can't do any damage to this guy. I have been using Incendiary Shower to try and drop him but to no avail. I tried other things... nothing happens. If I do deal any damage (which is slight), it regens fairly quickly. Any help is appreciated.
