I remember the dissapointment when I picked up the Blind Guardian weapons/instruments. I use hafted weapons and have put most points into the hafted weapons skill, and guess what did never drop? Hafted weapons! They were all daggers, staffs and swords. Although they looked quite cheesy, one of them had four sockets.

Yes, I agree. I think the list of better functions would be endless.

Shadow Warrior. Easy Experience idea
Sirius replied to Consolex's topic in Sacred 2 Console (XBOX and PS3)
Perhaps I should get some more gaming experience before posting an answer like this, but; I find that the easiest way to get XP in the game with your SW is to simply walk into a packs of enemies and gather them around the map until you have a massive bunch after you. Then you kill them off quickly by using Scything Sweep and Frezied Rampage while on a mentor's potion. -
Yes, you are probably right, but I still think it would be better to have a function that increased minimap size for console. Using a hand-controller for the PS3 limits you with 16 buttons. On a PC you have the whole keyboard to choose from.

Oh well, I haven't gotten around to try out horses yet, but I'm pretty sure the head north-button wouldn't make a difference between life and death in a combat situation.
-
Oh, I don't know what I would ever do without it. I would surely be lost in the deep forests of the realm, and would perish in the deep streets of Thylisium. Alright, down to buisness.. WHY? Why did they include the head north button. They could instead use the R3 (for PS3) for a "increase minimap size"-function so that I don't get lost in the city, and walk into dead ends! Does anybody know if they actually included a button like this for consoles? If they did, I would REALLY like to know! And by the way, do we really need the head north function? I mean, there's an arrow on the minimap that points north, but shouldn't that be enough?

What's the weather like over there?
Sirius replied to tomi's topic in The Daily Grind: Real life right here!
It's been quite rainy today, and people over at the east side of the country is afraid they all will die by landslides. Still very warm though. -
Well, thank you both for info! I didn't know that windows updated the driver. But that's just great. From my experience, gameplay gets alot smoother and more stable when only the driver itself is updated. Many of those programs that adds new features and such usually seems to slow things down, unless you know excactly how to handle them, ofcourse.

This is in my "backyard"

This is where I live. I nice place I guess.. if you remove all the houses and the people. -
I am always told that I should constantly update my videocard drivers to get the most recent patches and so on. My problem is this: Whenever I download a new driver for my ATI Radeon HD3650 card, I ALWAYS get alot of stuff together with the driver. ATI users probably know the ATI Catalyst program that supposedly makes your games look better and such. I just formatted my harddrive and re-installed Windows 7 on it. It never said anything about downloading a more recent driver for my card, and still my card works just fine with many new games. So.. did it install the driver itself? Is there an ATI driver in the Windows 7 install? I'm vastly confused! When I download this new driver with catalyst and all, my games actually runs SLOWER! This forces me to uninstall the new driver and rather have the old one back. I really want to download the newest update for my driver, without having all those pesky programs along with it.

Yes I did, and everything seems to be just in the right place for my game to work properly. But it doesn't. The only problem is that it's still strecthed out of aspect. Everything else is okay.
