BFG and Rev Tech Lore

I know that putting more points into Tactics Lore increases the Damage for BFG, but soon I will be at a new skill level, so I was wondering if Rev Tech Lore was worth putting points into it, or even getting it first of all.

 

If Rev Tech Lore increases the damage in BFG, sweet. If not... Well I'll have to pick another skill.

I think there is a thread on this, but the answer is no: Lore does not increase the damage on BFG.

Revered Technology Lore WILL increase your BFG Damage IF you modded it for damage. That's the consenus over at the german Sacred 2 forum.
