Max Out Framerate?

I have a machine that I want to install Sacred 2 on, but it's at the minimum specs for the game. Besides the in-game settings, is there anything else I can do to max out the framerate? Is there any ini file that I can edit that can further turn down the graphic settings?

 

This machine will be connecting to local lan games and probably never be playing single-player, so will that help?

 

I've got all the ingame setting turned down completely, now is there anyway that I can take it down further though ini or txt files?
