I followed the online instructions but Windows will not let the install program have access to ? a folder it wants. How do I disable the security and Read only attributes? Link to comment

Good luck installing! cheers! Chareos Rantras Not sure with folder it wants access to, but I tried removing the Read only attribute from c:\windows and it tells me access denied. I'm logged in as administrator with full control. but windows won't let change c:\windows Link to comment
locolagarto 15 Posted November 16, 2009 Author Share Posted November 16, 2009 I got win 7 installed. I'm the idiot this time. turns out after a call to MS that I was missing 1 if the install files. on Win7 32-bit for now. when my hard copy comes I cam reinstall to 64-bit. Link to comment
