Guest gogoblender
I'd like to know which units you guys are fleetsaving? As well, why are you fleetsaving? And...do you ever consider NOT fleetsaving if you have let's say one VERY powerful buildign with a ton of other troops there and static defenses as well? (spring guns?) If I were to build a super turtle account with some interstring personal twists, I have been thinkin of keepin my movers fleetsaved. Does this mean I will have to 1-pay my movers? 2-find out exactly where a target is that I can calculate will take the perfect amount of time for my movers to get there and back and keep them safe while they're moving like in ogame? Thanks! gogo Link to comment
erialc 2
I never fleetsave GoGo...the only time my 'lads' are out is if they are on the prowl (When I first started out before I had any decent def I did move out my movers and spies if I was getting attacked) I can only really say about my server 1 account in terms of defenses (but unless I am getting it totally wrong I'll do the same on server 2) I'll build up defenses as high as possible from SafeGuards to Guards and also use the mines and spring guns. All the defensive troops are static you can't move them anywhere...so you have Clandestine Workers, Safeguards, Policeman ,Bodyguards and Guards. Also are the bonuses you get from research increasing your researches. That way even if all my troops are at home I won't really worry too much about an attack...but I never fleetsave. Obviously if you have no def and you see troops coming then yes move your movers and spies out until after. For later on in the game gogo you won't want to be fleetsaving anything I don't think, just building lots and lots of def. I'll be interested though in what everyone else thinks......as I said this is what I have done on server 1 and so far it's worked for me. Link to comment
Rahvin 0
The only time I fleetsave is if I'm being attacked or if I know that I will likely be attacked, such as in a war or something. Since the speed of a "fleet" is not adjustable, to fleetsave you will need to build a very slow troop to go with your others. Such as a Rowdy, which will slow your troops down to a crawl. Generally speaking if you send your troops to the other side of your district you can fleetsave for about 4 hours. If you send it about 20 cities and 10 districts away you can fleetsave for almost 8 hours. BUT this will cost dollars. I normally bring all of my offensive troops together at one building, and build lots of defenses on that building. Fleetsaving isn't practical on a daily basis in Vendetta. Link to comment
Aurora 2
Yeah I dont fleetsave either...not that I have much to save at this point /wink I just keep all my troops and movers together on my main building with heaps of defence Link to comment
Revan 0
I fleetsave in war only and only if I have anything worth the dollars to do it, and if my enemies can actually harm me. And just a though, this is Vendetta and we are dealing with troops...so shouldn't it be called Troopsaving...cause we're not exactly dealing with ships like in Ogame/S4K... Link to comment
Rahvin 0
Don't get technical... I don't have enough brain cells left for that! I have a hard time saying "buildings" instead of "planets." Link to comment
