Ice and Blood is called an "Expansion" - meaning you need to have the base game installed. That's why the Gold edition comes with both Fallen Angel and Ice and Blood. You're supposed to install Fallen Angel first, then install Ice and Blood, followed by whatever patches have become available since it was released.

You do need both to play the expansion, but if you get Sacred 2 Gold it's all included.
